Great ride out Sean thank you. especially late in the day. Great autumn colours. Bike sounds brilliant on those roads, I was lucky to visit Arenas de Cabrales last year on a walking holiday. Well worth a second visit. Rider safe. Mike ,Sunny Wales
Enjoyed that, thanks Sean. I admire the fact you're doing the navigation in an old-school style. I think that, as a rider, you engage more with the world when you're not looking at signs and thinking about your route rather than following directions on a screen.
Hi Sean lots of lakes n reservoirs in Spain and France are well below capacity, have been for a few years, great roads, and back through the Picos 😊 sounds like a plan, the best roads are the twisty ones where you can see several bends ahead and let hair down pick up your skirt and have a ball, great ride mate with a bit of drama thrown in, hope the climber is ok ……..Pete 🇫🇷
Thanks Pete, yes he was OK and the second airlift was for his dog who was also rescued. Apparently you can walk a number of trails up that cliff face but it's also easy to get lost if you are inexperienced. I asked the receptionist about the path and one said its easy and one said it's very easy to go the wrong turn. I decided not to go myself 🤣🤣
Having been a caver and keen hiker for many years one thing you must avoid is doing it by yourself especially if it’s new to you, but temptation got the better of me several times 🥴🇫🇷
Hi Sean I was a prolific caver for 15years and ran my club got lost once underground fell 15 feet in swildons not my fault and spent 11 hours lifting a mate out of a vertical press with his leg stuck up under him that was a bit sketchy but he was fine, and 4 hours with the teacher of a school group I took down sidcot swallet who neglected to tell me he was asthmatic and forgot his inhaler 😬 in 15 years that’s not bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🇫🇷
Been a great series Sean, looks like a proper adventure, BTW you were lucky to ride down to the base of the reservoir at Riano, the level is really low in your video, some of those trails you were on were the original roads of the village of Riano, the new village was built above where the petrol station is now, when they dammed the area as part under Franco, if you google it, it is really interesting
That's extremely interesting trivia about Riano. I did notice the odd building sticking up out of the water in some of the other Embases I passed. Trees as well. It must be very low. I was concerned it would be sinky but seemed firm enough...
Picos I've discovered is so easy to get to. I'd go again yes. I used to think you had to explore somewhere new all the time. Getting older I like the same things haha

Another great vlog Sean. Got me tempted to take a ride over there next year. You’ll become a consummate professional RUclipsr if you’re not too careful 😉
Hi Sean & Suzie-Hope Suzie is doing well: hang in there. How is your bike doing? Would you buy it again if you knew then what you know now? Cheers!! Illinois. USA
Hi Larry, that's a great question. If I had seen into the future I would have bought a nearly new one for £3.8k and not £5.5k as the price has gone down a lot. I guess yes I would have still had one as I get a lot of enjoyment out of it and they are only a lowish price point... thanks, Sean
Sean your showing that you just don't need a massive adventure bike to enjoy touring, you can do it on any bike if you put your mind to it.
Thanks Ian, I appreciate that. I keep thinking should I get a more adv bike like for example a Himalayan but then the BSA does me very well.
Love this, thank you for taking us to Spain with you my love ❤

I will be planning a second visit to the area for sure... really good 👍

Thank you for the kind comment. One more to run on this series!

Don't watch those cave accident videos on RUclips, they make me never want to go underground again!

Another enjoyable video, thanks.
Thank you Steve, they are slow burners these tour videos but the folk who do watch them seem to enjoy the trip and I'm pleased 😃

Such a great video I've watched it twice (which I highly recommend everyone to do!) 👍😂👍
Thanks champ!
Lovely ride.
Do you think you will do it again and explore a different route or would you go somewhere else?
