I think Balrog is held down more due to his 180 range than his single target. That, combined with 3 knockbacks, somewhat sluggish speed, a bit too much forswing, and small HP for such range, makes him unable to even land a hit on the majority of enemies that outrange him. So his only preys are either enemies with shorter range than him and not weird abilities like omnistrike, wave or surge; enemies with very long attack cooldown or be enough blindspot; and enemies that can be frozen or weakened for a long period of time. But for the first type of enemy there are usually many counters already and a plethora of methods to deal with them. The second type of enemy allows for many different melee rushers and favors the fast ones, like ABC or Yukimura. The third type of enemy, by that description, isn't much of a threat, and Balrog would only make the job quicker. Lastly, there's Can Can, which, by virtue of being Super Rare, can be duped a few times comfortable to raise it's stats, and has 220 range, double bounty, a meager but situationally useful slow against Red and Alien, and is far more spammable. So I humbly think that while Balrog is quite good to deal with, say Relic one horn, he's not as good as the community has seemingly decided he is. Simply because his list of targets is small and for the most part, not that big of a deal.

I mean she is a attacker unit pretty obvious for outplaying, but lack of curse immune really differentiated dkasli and asuka, if it’s not for that asuka would definitely be in top 5 , although she’s already one of the big 10
exactly. She may not the the most broken unit, but play her with a little thought behind when to send her or maybe with a bit of support and she surely shows her value

I really think Ultimate Windy should be included, she's an above average generalist super backliner that also happens to be the highest average DPS vs her target trait, BUT 15 dark eyes. Balrog and Lufilan work as well as they do from a lack of powercreep. They're single target keeps hem from being generally strong but when they work they work well. Lufilan is simply the best luga, while powercreep continues to destroy shishilan about every update.

the problem is that he isn't knockback immune, so a CC knockback interrupts his attack. maybe ultra talents can fix that :D

Another notable feature mitama has is KB immunity, she carried me through ItF with that ability, with the 15 KBs AND KB immunity she was a huge help
