Today we will take a look at trophy russian thermobaric rocket launcher RShG 1. I finaly got took a fotage of it explodeing, so i finaly release the video. Thank you for watching and support
He is the best teacher on tube ,this information will be priceless during WW3 so ,thank you brother
"during WW3" Those who are potential "WW3" adversaries are too cowardly to fight each other. Know that.
Thank you for the demo. I do not blame you for conserving ammunition.
We should always conserve ammunition, because it costs money and because we have to carry it.
You don’t have to apologize to us for not using it. I’m glad that you guys will save it and use it appropriately. I hope you guys are safe and well! Praying for you everyday !
That thermobaric stuff is scary...and very impressing at once. Very interesting video. Thanks for it. Stay well, Val!
Happy new year Martin, and best of luck to you!
@@valgear5525 Thanks! A happy new year to you and the guys too. And as mantioned, stay safe and above all, healthy!
same unwanted crap as steel ball rockets :D But action = reaction :) Still better both then russian napalm ... Russians must be destroyed ..
I'd always believed the West was missing that hard-hitting organic one-time fire support that the RPO Shmel and other similar weapons provide, fascinating to hear your experience confirm this. The closest thing the west has is maybe the Carl Gustav but that requires a dedicated 2-man team to utilize whereas the RShG and the RPO are more akin to the LAW or AT-4. It might be easier to carry a bunch of HEDP 40mm grenades but they can't replicate the effects of a heavy, disposable HE/thermobaric rocket.
Likewise, I always did think they where missin gout on a similar system. Having anti-tank systems is fine but you come across infantry far more often which HEAT isn't going to be much good for. Small arms are fine but they can't compete with a big thermobaric warhead obviously.
US doctrine operates based on having air support close to the AO at all times
Russian doctrine operates based on small (or maybe not small) independant teams operating towards the same goal separately, meaning that they wont have air support most of the time and they NEED something like this.
eliminating a 26lb launcher from each~ish fire team means you can have a gunner with more ammo or better ammo or more armor or more sustainence gear and have a plane drop 4 1000lbers instead of putting that seriously laborious load on your soldiers.
So as long as your soldiers have enough mobile and infantry AA and a base fairly close, they can maintain air superiority and have 1000x the fire support capabilities of an RPO
@@pmc3027 Then why do US soldiers use M72 LAW's and Javelins. If they have air support that can respond in a few minutes instead?
@@Punisher9419 Javelines have a specific anti tank role and are very precise, making then worth the weight. The RPO and RShG are dumb fire big boom for effect rockets, not anti vehicle.
Also the law is an anti LAV/APC device and thus also has more value and also weighs less than half of what the RShG does.
Im just saying that big boom for effect on infantry devices are too heavy for what theyre worth.
We have NE (THERMOBARIC) SMAW NE
, GUSTAV NE AND AT4/LAW NE
Tearing it up! Keep up the videos, love the information and inside view. Stay safe brother!
Thermobarics is a gamechanger for sure. I know US SF used them as early as IRAQ. I am surprised it is not more mass produced.
@@nc1609 Not the same as being able to respond in seconds instead of minutes though if not an hour to a situation.
This channel is the wet dream of any weapons enthusiast, amazing content brother keep up the amazing work!
Thank you, for userfriendly and accurate training videos...
Babe wake up, new Ukrainian unboxing just dropped !
Stay safe man, bless you and glory to Ukraine and you heroes 🇺🇦🇨🇵
Don’t have to apologise for not firing the video is enough, you’re a legend mate! Love hearing about these unique Russian/Eastern Europe rocket/grenade launchers/weapon systems in general!
Supposedly, depending on the year of manufacture, the warhead might be filled either with 100MI-3L/100МИ-3Л thermobaric composition, or with a OKFOL based high explosive mixture. Apparently the 100MI-3L/100МИ-3Л thermobaric composition offered relatively poor performance during deployment on open terrain, and as a result newer batches come with a conventional explosive filling.
The Shmel was also upgraded with the small EFP lense because a higher velocity explosive explosive made it possible for the lense to work properly.
Looking forward to a potential Panzerfaust-3 review!
Happy New Year!
Very interesting! Is the Shmel upgrade you are referring to the RPO PDM-A (aka RPO-M) or just a later manufacturing run of standard RPO-A?
Very interesting!! thanks for posting this. Would love to see a vid on that thermobaric M72 LAW you mentioned, especially an unboxing of it. Always found packaging to be a super interesting thing
I love your reviews, from
hey guys sorry for quality but i just came back from 10 days mission and here is gun they gave me
or i dont like this tournequit but this one is better, btw they used that one to patch me up after i got hit by artillery
Seriously reviews of military gear just hits different when you have someone with combat experience with it, while other guys like administrative results or forgotten weapons never mention quirks of weapon like you did with pkm, keep doing the good work!
These are simply nasty portable fuel vapor grenades!-John in Texas
Love your videos and I hope yall can get your hands on more of these badass munitions
I cannot do this, here at home, so thank you for this
Thanks for these gear videos, it really helps me understand the kind of equipment you guys are using out there. I'll send a few bucks your way to stock up on Dr. Pepper 😂
Bren ❤
The SMAW is the one we use in the west, its amazing at breaking down buildings
Very interesting video. Thank you for your time.
Im so happy you posted 💪
How are the BRENs performing? Stay safe, love from Czechia.
There will be separate video, with few nuances, great weapon!
Very bad for me worst rifle ever.
I really enjoy your videos
Great info
Great content!
Sponsored by Dr Pepper.
haha.
Nothing like haveing rolemodel chanell comenting, you have a great videos man!
@@valgear5525 Far too kind mate. Thank you for sharing your insights from the field, finding all your videos really interesting! Glad to see you're recovered.
Nice work
Waiting to see a carl gustaf🤤
Carl-Gustaf M4 has a good choise of rockets, but they should add thermobaric and white phosphorus, preferably one that could be launched from inside a building.
💪
You're the man 💪 love your vids dude 👌✌️🇺🇦✊️
Great video, I also had a question about your preferred rifle. I don’t know what to get; either an ak105 or a cz Bren 2. The Bren is a little more expensive, about $500 more. Please let me know!
Great Job, Stay save !
Are you satisfied with the longevity of the UF Pro pants ?
I know it's not a thermobaric warhead, but how would an M141 Bunker Defeat Munition (SMAW-D) compare to the RShG1 in terms of, well, bunker busting like you said this one is good for? Bigger warhead than an M72 LAW (84mm vs 66mm) but different grenade type... Or is there some type of target BDM would be best for over RShG1 and others RShG1 is better?
Fucking interesting.
Wishing you all the best.
Cheers from Germany!
Nice to see Bren 2 in action , how do you feel about him ?
Stay safe brother. I wish this shit was over and you would be able to make these videos in peace time and just for fun. 🇺🇦❤
It's a very potent weapon for use on structure butt the distance of fire is not very good so it's probably good for urban fighting and close combat in the woods perfect for Stormtroopers
My military training is now complete...and I haven't left my bedroom.❤❤❤
how do you like that bren? i just got one
How do you like the CZ?
So what is the Baric kill area range?
Stay safe
Thanks for your work.
Unlike everything else out there It's unbiased and accurate.
Stay safe,
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
Ukraine will be better off with Russia. The West uses countries like prostitutes. Zelenskyy is the Zio Pimp that is figure head for effort by Blackrock take the entire country over. I'm surprised Ukrainian people can not recognize a Bolshevik when they see one.
"Here, let me use this grenade fuse on my desk as a visual aid."
Keep on keeping on brother.
p.s. What rifle are you using?
Got it.
You want a NLAW launch tube, but dumb (no PLOS guidance), and refit the rocket with a thermobaric warhead with a HEAT precursor to penetrate walls before delayed fuze triggers the main charge.
Somebody call SAAB and BAE systems. Shouldn't be too hard to put it together. Definitely, 1 year lead time for mass production. 3 months if I'm being optimistic. Pre production samples could be put together in 3 weeks I reckon.
The NLAW (and Javelin) is the only man portable disposable launch tube in the West that's larger than 100mm diameter. So, use those. No guidance shit, this is for breaching buildings and bunkers. Keep it cheap and high volumes, make sure there's enough to root out every hiding Ruscist.
What about the SMAW? Not aware of its diameter but it seems like a better adaptation than an extremely advanced and effective anti-armor launcher.
One of the Western equipments weakness are their price tags, at least in American circles. Good luck getting anything cheap from them. That and manufacturing is kinda shot so we arent able to crank out material like it was possible in WW2.
Slava bogu ziv, slava ukraine!! Udachi vam.
Das ist goodt machina
Save those for the invaders. After 2023 they should have a go-pro camera mount with a SD-card trophy of its use!
I wish thermobaric weapons weren't a thing :(
But when you loot it from enemy who use it against you i understand using it :(
What pants you have at the end of the video
Crye precision i got them for Christmas this year, there will be review and comparison with UF PRO in a few months
@@valgear5525 Thank you dude hi from Romania and the best to you
Bumble Bee ?
Stay well and free Ukraine from Russian occupation!
How destructive is it against structures?
If I understand thermobarics correctly, they are devastating against light structures, but, against hard structures like reinforced concrete bunker, they would kill everyone inside and bunker would still stand, right?
На столі Брама Європи Плохія)
Looks likw your wearing Romans wares

Isn‘t thermobaric illegal?
Incorrect. Incendiary munitions are illegal again civilian targets but I don't believe the U.S, Russia, or Ukraine signed that agreement.
No
russian soliders learning from this video :)
SMAW D is better
