One thing to think about is where the sun is going to be during the day; it might be beautiful in the evening after work but less appealing Sunday morning.
im not getting married i just binge this stuff, i just found your channel and might i say that i love that tou love TGS just as much as i do!!!
Jamie will you be my wedding planner in 5+ years when I'm actually engaged.......?
Just went on my first venue tour and I used this video to put together all the questions I wanted to ask, and I felt I had a solid understanding of what to ask and look for. Thank you Jamie for helping to prepare us!
Just got engaged this past Christmas. Planning wedding this year and you have been a HUGE HUGE help. You are great at what you do. Wish I lived in Cali would hire you on the spot to handle it for me. Keep on rocking!!
We are doing our reception venue at a gazebo at a forest preserve. It's little but super beautiful! The nice thing is there are bathrooms attached (one stall) and more super close walking distance, picnic tables there that we can use for seating, electrical outlets, and garbage. I'm really praying that on my wedding day it's sunny so we can have an unlimited amount of space to do things like outside on the patio area. However, at the moment we are planning on everything fitting into our tiny space. ^ - ^" Fingers crossed it all works out!
This was such a big help!
I wrote these questions down and asked our venue guide. She was really impressed with how prepared I was. All thanks to you! 😉
This was SO helpful! Thank you so much!
You are a BLESSING! I love your videos, they are so helpful. :)
Thank you!! On my way to look at a venue and wasn’t sure what to ask! Super helpful!!
You brought up points I didn’t even think about. Suuuuper helpful! Thank you!
I love your videos, Jamie! They're so insightful and straight-to-the-point.
This was SOOOOO helpful!!!! Seriously exactly what I needed. Thank you!!
This is the most thought out list I have seen in RUclips. You have helped so much!!!
I am binge watching all of your videos. I’m so booking a consultation as the time gets closer. Wow just amazing and informative 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice! Xtremely helpful!
Gonna head out to check out some locations for the first time and watched this to get me going (even though I've had this list copied for a while in my planner), sooo exited! 😄😄
These videos are a life saver!!! 💕💍 so helpful
Amazing questions. Many people forget half of these questions!
That's so awesome me and my fiancé just decided to use "Never Enough" for our wedding song lol you are awesome!! 😊
So useful. I'm doing reception and decoration design for a friends wedding next year, and while I've worked some performance and auction events, I've never done a wedding. These are great things to think about!.
You are amazing! You have help me so much with my stress ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks so much for this video! It helped me put together a great Q and A page for our wedding venue potential clients. Have an awesome day!! :)
This is truly valuable information!

Such good questions for brides at this point in their planning! x

I love that song!
Hey Jamie! What questions should you ask if you want to rent out a house and have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there??
Whew! I think we caught all but one or two of those.
the intro is my favorite
Thanks 😁
I appreciate you!!!!!!!
Your opening line applies to my life completely haha loveeee you
Jamie Wolfer haha!!! Mine too 😂 it get to the point i can smell off milk or i end up having no space left for another cup that i have to hold my coffee while driving.
I also have a wedding question. Have you been to a wedding with 30 people and they still all have fun? I love the idea of a smaller wedding but not sure if thats to small.
Love your channel! I'm a super fan! I used all of ur advice to book my wedding venue! I've had my venue booked and paid for 8 months and I'm now 7 months away from our wedding date...in the last month I've had a few people come to me with bad reviews about my venue. My fiance is very concerned about these negative reviews, what can I do to make sure these things don't happen on my wedding? Please any advice is appreciated! 😁
Amazing list of questions- Can you do a video on having your wedding on a yacht? I'm looking at having a small wedding on the sea soon :)
Provide bags to be sick in?
I know that venues, florists and limousine places often use “wedding tax” is there a way around this or is is unavoidable?
Yes, this would be great to know!
She has a video on “the wedding tax”
Basically that it’s not actually a thing because of xyz
Should you go with the mostly all-inclusive wedding packages offered at venues like wineries and hotels?
What is actually 'far' for a bathroom? What about a tent that is maybe 50-100 feet from a building where the restroom is? Also any more specific advice about tent receptions would be appreciated! Your channel is amazing and so helpful to me as a full-time working bride planning a wedding from out of state. I may be just a little stressed :)
Ideally, I want to have an elopement in Yosemite with immediate family and close friends, so about 15 people max. Some of these tips don't apply, but I didn't think about the multiple events in one place thing. That's definitely something to consider when choosing the ceremony spot, e.i. something private and off trail that won't be interrupted.
My fiancé adores you!!! What are chances you can be our wedding planner in SoCal for summer 2024? 😅❤
Can you make a video about appetizer and dessert only?
So, I was wondering what would be good question points or summary points that I could use to make up a contract with my Food Vendor/ Caterer? They speak okayish English so I thought a contract would be more helpful to lay out exactly what I'm paying for. I jotted down hours (total, set up, tear down) but I'm so caught in the wedding fog I'm running blank on what else to include?
Greatest Showman has the GREATEST soundtrack!
Am I the only one who jams out to The Greatest Showman exactly like that??😅
Can you please do a video about rings? I’m so confused. I read it’s traditional to wear a wedding band and an engagement ring after you’re married, but I’ve never seen anyone do that. If I just wear my engagement ring after getting married would it look tacky to people? Can you break down what is traditional, tacky, and good do’s and donts?
1. Is the venue available on my target date?
2. How much does it all cost?
3. What's the capacity?
4. What does the space look like?
5. How much work will we have to put into decorating the space?
6. What's the catering situation?
7. Can I hold the ceremony here?
8. Is there a coordinator on staff? Who will be my main point of contact?
9. Is there a list of approved vendors or can I use any vendors I wish?
10. What's the rain plan?
Jaime why is your car backwards
Great videos. Lovong the tips. Quick question...
Are you driving in left-hand traffic, in a right-hand drive vehicle in the states?! Or is the video mirrored?
I was wondering that too! Lol
Mirrored. If you look out the window at the very start the "B" and "2" are backwards
How do you handle bathrooms with an outdoor wedding?
Caitlin Sader You can hire a mobile bathroom- anything from a portapotty to a luxury toilet.
Any advice on rehearsal dinner? My wedding will be on a Saturday and the venue I want to use for the dinner portion is available on a monday, is that too early?
Jaycee Corpuz That will work if your wedding party is all in town on that day, but if you have people traveling you might be missing some people. I like to have the rehearsal close to the big day because it kind of feels like the kick off party for all of the festivities!
Why is the video mirrored? Noticed that the cars were passing on the wrong side for North America. - not from me, from my geeky fiancé ;)
Great stuff, but I wish she were paying attention to the driving.
God you’re gorgeous ❤️
