I still can't get over how once you get all of the fruits and the exit portal opens, the game makes a sound like it's saying "NUT." Feels perfect with Grayfruit's sense of humor.
As a kid who played it growing up, geno's maze is perhaps too powerful of an earworm. Pretty sure my parents can still recall it from when I played it in their living room lmao
I really admire this game. It reminds me of the first two Trine games with the level of flexibility you're allowed, and it has a very good place in the gaming landscape since last year the last Trine game came out and it was more restrictive than ever. In my ranking video of good games from 2023, Trine 5 was on 47th place and Mosa Lina on 14.

You can really taste the difference between the masterful plans well-executed and the cool nonsense that just sort of happened. Affords a nice variety to the sliiick soup.
I played a few games from this developer before, and as fun and pretty as they were, Mosa Lina is the most interesting of them all. What can I say, none of the previous ones were as slick as this one

So I finally understand the game's philosophy. (I had to look it up lol). Basically the reason this game exists is because the dev hates how in immersive sims there's a definite solution to every problem that the devs come up with instead of the player. Like, for example, you want to get into a vent. The game has a double jump ability, or if you don't have that, they give you movable props you can stand on to get in. That sort of thing. So in this being completely randomized, there's no way for the dev to make decisions for you. You have to figure it out.
12:34 i only just realized that's maybe a Baba is You reference. like when you break the sentence "Baba is you" in that game, thereby losing the ability to control the game or beat the level, the music also cuts out
