How to Reset Brother Drum DR-630 MFC-L2700DW Laser Printer

- To reset printer drum on MFC-L2700DW printer, follow these directions on video.
1.Make sure printer is ON
2.Open front cartridge access cover
3.Press and hold "OK" button for 3 seconds or until "Reset Drum?" message appears.
4.Press "1" for "Yes"
5.Close cover.
Your printer's drum life is now at 100%.
If you start getting faint or prints with lines after a few resets, it is time to replace the drum unit.
Ebay sells them very cheap. Most are great quality drums.

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

I have mfc l2701d, horizontal line in all print,and print same darck & same light printing
Most likely it's the drum. Have you replaced one? They aren't that expensive for your printer. To check if the problem is with drum, take it out of the printer, remove the toner from drum and slowly spin the drum by spinning it at the gear on the side. Do not touch the drum roller with hands to avoid damaging it. There will be a line on the roller if the problem is with drum.
No way to fix except replace. Worth replacing

did this and now I am getting very light prints and have to do options to crank up the dark, which still isn't very dark. it was printing fine before this...I ad an issue with printer accepting a refilled cart and read that this was a cure. Yes it was, printer accepted the cart, but now the printer prints light. any way to get it dark again?

Nope. it says Replace Drum but gives no yes or no options. It just says Replace Drum. Which I already did.
The drum needs to be reset after replacing it usually.
Informative,but get rid of the unnecessary music; too loud compared to your verbal instructions.
Finally got to it and got rid of the music! What was I thinking???? LOL
How many times can we reset the drum?
As much as you'd like, but quality will get worse after time, so I recommend to replace drum it after 1 to 3 resets. Thanks. Have a great day.
Hey I’m trying to do it but my mom was sending and printing faxes earlier and whenever I do the open the lid and the ok button it just says close it and that like the fax or print that we were gonna do it says please wait and then it says drum ends soon again
Try cancelling all print or cope jobs maybe?

Are you sure the drum needs resetting? There is other parts that need reset once in a while such as Fuser, toner, PF kits,

You need to get the person playing the guitar in the same room that you are recording this video to STOP. VERY DISTRACTING!!!
I couldn't find the person that was playing the guitar. LOL. Looked everywhere. However, I did find a way to get rid of the annoying music he or she was playing. I can't believe I thought adding music would make videos more appealing. It is one of the first videos I posted a while back.
