I love how REAL you are with us. Your hair looks great after using the Dove products. I do need to go visit my local library. I used to go all the time and slacked off the last few years. Thanks Dr. Dray!
Holy Moley. Another month gone. 😯 I really love that Dove shampoo & conditioner. I have a really itchy scalp and it definitely helps that without drying my scalp and hair. It's pretty great and inexpensive. Smells really great too. 😊
Regarding the iRobot, the version with the station does not show you the dirt. You put in a bag, and it’s designed to close itself up as you remove it so that it doesn’t spill. I think you’d like it. Thanks for your informative content.
That Dove shampoo is great. I recommend it all the time. The fragrance is a bit annoying for me personally but I haven't reacted to it. There's also a few different formulas with the same active but different scents.
Unrelated to the video, but I just wanted to let everyone know that Kroger now has a dupe for the Supergoop! Glowscreen (at least it's new to me, lol). My favorite youtuber and best friend in my head! 😂 Happy Wednesday to you and thank you for all that you do! I owe my healthier, moisturized skin and simple but effective drugstore skin routine to you!
I'm absolutley LOVING the Dove Ultra Intensive Repair shampoo. It's truly amazing. It's super conditioning and hydrating. I find that I don''t need to use a seperate conditioner after washing my hair with it because it leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft, smooth and manageable. It's also a highly concentrated formula which is great because only a very small l amount is needed. to shampoo my entire scalp. This is good because the bottle lasts longer, which means less waste, both with the shampoo and the plastic bottle that it comes in. I bought the bottle that I am currently using about a year ago and I've only used about a fourth of the bottle. So it lasts a very long time. Again, less waste in the long run, which is a good thing. It's just a really awesome product.
Huge library fan! They have a great selection of large print for my “wiser” eyes. Jodie Picoult Wish You Were Here has a fictional depiction of the Pandemic that surprised me! You might enjoy it.
I love Dr Dray!! I am the mom of a boy who has had bad eczema since he was 2 months old. He is now 13. Love your down to earth, AFFORDABLE, recommendations. I have been dabbling into anti-aging but have been cautious bc I have Rosecrans and I don't want to spend my son's college fund on it. Can't wait to use the rest of my overpriced skin care to add in my Dr Dray list!
In 1998 Kevyn Aucoin came out with the 1st tubing mascara. It was incredible, then as time went by and they sold the company the formula changed for the worse. This Milani is the best thing ever!!!!!! We need to make sure they don't discontinue it!!!!
L’Oreal makes a tubing mascara called Double Extend Beauty Tubes that I’ve used for years and really like. No raccoon eyes, stays put, yet washes off easily at night. I hope it won’t be discontinued ever!
If you think that's good, you should try Revlon Snapscara! It's pretty amazing. Also try Milani Highly Rated mascara! They're both awesome! Tubing formulas as well. 🙂
👋 I actually spent a semester studying robotics (specifically software design and algorithmic theory) in college😊… Robotic vacuums are designed to be able to work autonomously over time. Any decently designed one will map out the layout of your rooms and use algorithms to chart a cleaning course that, depending on your space and the unit’s battery capacity, may take more than one bout of cleaning and recharging to fully complete. The course may seem random to you, but these algorithms are designed so the unit can optimally zoom around and clean your entire space while prioritizing factors like minimizing energy expenditure, minimizing the number of ‘zooms’ and turns needed to cover the entire space, and (to a lesser extent) avoiding disrupting your ability to use the space. You will never see one that just does never ending 180ish degree turns cleaning small areas lawnmower style because independent of the fact that it would make it impossible for living creatures to easily share that space during cleaning, it’s *extremely* inefficient from an algorithmic and energy utilization perspective to constantly do so many full turns (meaning the battery would drain way quicker) and it would also reduce the overall lifespan of the robot because performing so many large rotations to perform the same amount of work will wear down the mechanical components much more quickly. Re: bumping into things, if the robot hasn’t been disoriented in some way (e.g., unknown obstacle like moved furniture or physically intervening in its movement by doing something like picking it up and relocating it), then it’s likely those ‘bumps’ are either intentional (getting as close as possible to the digital map boundary before changing direction) or simply items that the robot’s sensors are having difficulty detecting for a variety of reasons (though the cheaper the robot, the more likely it is to have fewer sensors that are less adept at picking up on things like chair legs or new obstacles).
Moby Dick is one of my favorite books!! Another fave is The Hunchback of Notre Dame. These are two big, thick classics that are force-fed to young people but I believe are much more interesting for seasoned (30+) adults to read, because we have lived enough of life to identify with the themes and characters!🤓
Congrats on almost 2M subscribers!!! Thank you for your review of the Dove dermacare shampoo & conditioner. You've saved me so much 💰 in the few years I've subscribed to your channel by staying away from overhyped, overpriced and/or ineffective products 🙂
Amazing video with affordable recommendations! I haven't tried drugstore shampoo in yrs and you influenced me to give it a try and the price is unbeatable compared to Oribe lol
I got my parents the iRobot for Christmas that empties itself, and it’s great! You can’t see what’s in the container. And the best part of this one is that it goes in a back and forth pattern. Which leaves the most perfect sweeper lines! It was so worth the $$! 😀
I love my Roomba so much. I’ve had it for five years and never a problem. It certainly does a better vacuuming job then I do. Under my bed and couch is so clean. ❤
Thanks for promoting the library, Dr. Dray! I've loved the library since I was a kid. As an adult, I go every week. As for mascara, I really like L'ancome Definicils. It's a bit of a splurge, but it works best for me as someone who wears contact lenses - doesn't flake or smudge. Have a great weekend!
Book recommendation, Breathe by James Nestor. A bit like the Sleep book, it stresses proper breathing for health but isn’t dull. I listened to the audio book, which I got from my library.
So crazy. I just picked up that shampoo and conditioner today and then I see this video this afternoon. I'm so glad i have good intuition about this stuff and it's because I watch your videos. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge with us.
Dr. Dray, you have literally made my life so much easier since finding your wonderfully informative videos. I never have to try to figure out the best products to use or the ones to avoid. Thank you. So very surprised to hear you mention Rosamunde Pilcher who was my very favourite author. Her “Shell Seekers” and “September” are so great that I own them and have re-read them over and over. Like visiting old friends! I agree with other commenters...the library is the greatest free service ever! I got my first library card at seven and still feel like a kid in a candy store! Now, I need to go get that Dove shampoo...lol!
My mom cleans the house top to bottom once per week, she spends 8H doing it thoroughly, dusting, vacuuming and going over with a mop. One day out of the week and she never ever needs to deep clean. There is 0 dust as it gets no time to settle; it's amazing.
It won’t work for every region as I lived in a place that gets super dusty in two days and also in a place that has 0 to no dust after a month. Right now I’m cleaning once a week and it’s definitely not enough. As a side note, not everyone has the capacity to clean once a week for almost the whole day considering you have to cook that day as well as work 5 other days so that leaves you with only one day for yourself. It’s pretty hard but it’s way harder for somebody with depression who cannot physically maintain super clean environment… That being sad what works for you and your family will not work for everybody.
Dr. Dray, on the subject of tubing mascaras I have one to suggest. Ulta has It's own brand called"Flash Lash" & it's really good! I started out on the Thrive also, but I like the Ulta brand better & it's $11!!!!! It's kind of hard to find in the stores (mine at least in Pearland) but I always find it online. Give it a try!!!
I really, really wanted to love the Milani tubing mascara, but I found it to be way too difficult to remove. Even after double cleansing with either cleansing oil or micellar water, then cleanser I'm still pulling it off of the majority of my lashes. Very disappointing. 🙁 After reading reviews from others who use it claiming how easy it is to remove, I honestly do not know what I could possibly be doing wrong. 🤷♀
@@emilyjensenius4289 Yes since it claims to be a tubing formula. Nothing worked. I've heard other YT reviewers make similar complaints that it's difficult to remove.
@@helpfulnatural The problem is your technique. Tubing mascaras don't require any makeup remover. Saturate a cotton pad with warm water and *hold it against your lashes for 30 seconds* , then gently wipe mascara off lashes.
I agree with you on the Peach and Lilly cleansing oil: it is not special in any way, overpriced, and it doesn't remove makeup as well as the other oils you mentioned.
Thanks for making my day, I love favorites 😍 and fails lol the Hado Labo oil is the goat! I will always have it in my bathroom. Sucks about the fragrance in the dove shampoos, I think I need to switch to some fragrance free options..my eczema has been crazy lately. Happy Wednesday 😊
Great video. Thank you for doing these. I love my robovac. I have 3 dogs so I run mine daily to try to keep up with all the hair. My sinuses have thanked me ten times over!
I use shampoo & conditioner separately, meaning different brands, different purposes, because shampoo is meant to clean and conditioner to moisturize and it doesn't matter which brand, which range, and I don't care much either. LOL!
Thanks for this. Do you have a past video on cold sores? I haven't had one in 10 years and can't figure out what triggered it. My internal med dr. Called in an antiviral rx, and it helped greatly. Would love prevention advice to avoid them ever again. Thanks!
Chocolate, peanut butter, sunburn used to be triggers for me. I keep anti-virals in the house always and lysine. Your immune system is probably low, too. Be sure to take vitamin D3 to keep your immunity up.
Dr Dray, discovering and subscribing (free!) to the Harris County library was the best thing that happened to me!! The library is just amazing, my reading habit has exponentially increased!! Thanks for mentioning about it in a video.
The self emptying base is amazing. It doesn’t empty into a canister but self sealing bag. It’s actually cleaner than emptying the bin on the vacuum. If your model is newer you should be able to map you rooms and control which areas get cleaned. It makes the cleaning patterns less random and it will clean faster.
You look so beautiful today!! I'm wearing the Milani mascara right now! I think Iactually prefer the look of it on my lashes to the Thrive. Best part is no smudges
I used to use Selsum Gold (Blue's) sister product until it was discontinued. H&S dried my fine hair out. So when Dove came out with theirs I was do happy 😊. I love ❤️ the Dove 🕊 one. It doesn't dry out my hair and leaves it so soft. Thank you for all the wonderful informative videos you do.
Orange looks so good on you! I have to agree with you on the Dove shampoo and conditioner. I don't have dandruff but I just love the way my hair behaves after using it. 🐥
Happy march 1st dr dray❣️ thanks for good recommendations🙂 just a quick question, can plucking hair from face with plucker especially in upper lip or eyebrow area, damage skin in any way?
It seems time goes by faster and faster with age. I don't even know where Feb went and I'm retired. I do use the library alot and think it's a great resource. Thanks for the book recommendations. I got a new vacuum cleaner this past year, a Shark and let me tell you it will suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.🤣 No seriously, it is the upright cannister and has the pet hair, and Hepa filter which I need for ezcema and I have a 14 year old chihauhua with long hair. White long hair. I previously had used a Rainbow for many years. I tried the Dove shampoo and it's a good one for sure.
Your videos are the highlight of my day. While there is no shortage of video content on tretinoin, I recently saw an 'influecer' say that your skin cells 'talk' to ibe another so applying tretinoin in one area (where your skin can tolerate it) will still benefit other areas where you don't apply it such as eyelids or under eyes. Can you talk about whether there's any truth to this? Those of us who are extremely sensitive to this ingredient could benefit from this information in determining how to use it with sensitive skin. Also interested in short contact therapy and whether it's a long term option or better for working toward daily use.
I may try the dove shampoo and conditioner. I typically go for non sulfate shampoo and non silicone shampoo since I have thick, wavy, textured hair. But now that it is getting hot here in Texas, dandruff is going to beat me.
The robot vacuum makes me recall staying with a friend and his wife in Florida and they had one of those he called it Nanny! 😂 It ended up in the room I was staying in wedged under the bed stuck in one place trying to get out. I thought a ghost 👻 was in the room! 🤠
I love the thrive mascara so much. I keep trying others, but they just don’t check all the boxes for me. I have a terrible problem with mascara transfer to under eyes, but not with thrive. Other mascaras also cause lash breakage sometimes
I always look forward to your faves and fails videos. I can't believe we're already into March! Thanks, as always. Love the color of your top. Looks gorgeous on you. Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray! Hope you have a tranquil evening. 💗
I was going around Ulta looking at all their skincare yesterday and kept thinking it would be nice if I had Dr Dray here with me. Maybe another video soon?
So about the Dove shampoo. My elderly mother has allergies and her scalp will itch like crazy! I wonder if this might help? And is it safe for color- treated hair? Plus.. I love my iRobot! I have the model with the receptacle for emptying. You don’t see the dirt, it gets sucked into a bag.

My birthday month!
👱♀️❤
@@marizzy63 hello friend xoxo 🤍
@@nadab4750 wow good to know . Happy Birthday. It is going to be a great month . Mine is April 😁
Can trigger breakouts
I loved Rosamund Pilcher since I was 21. I'm 43 now.
You look Gorgeous! Thanks for your videos!
Thank you so much!
Your face is absolutely glowing in this video! Always love your content! Thank you for what you do!
I personally do not like Milani mascara it just feels way too wet when it's new, and now it's too dry a few weeks in? so weird
I have read in order to make time go by slower, learn a new hobby! Routines and familiarity make time go by extremely fast.
I totally agree… Thrive’s tubbing mascara is also my holy grail!!!❤❤
The robot vacuum makes me recall staying with a friend and his wife in Florida and they had one of those he called it Nanny! 😂 It ended up in the room I was staying in wedged under the bed stuck in one place trying to get out. I thought a ghost 👻 was in the room! 🤠
😂
Lol! 😂 Happy Wednesday, Uncle Charlie! I hope you had a wonderful day. Peace, joy and blessings to you, friend. ☕🕊☕🙏☕
@@marylawman8603 thanks so much! Same to you! 🙏
I love the thrive mascara so much. I keep trying others, but they just don’t check all the boxes for me. I have a terrible problem with mascara transfer to under eyes, but not with thrive. Other mascaras also cause lash breakage sometimes
Also that color on you is gorgeous!!!!
I love using Paul Mitchell Green tree shampoo and conditioner! Leave it on and your scalp feels so clean. I even use on body. The best!
You look awesome Doc!
Thanks
I always look forward to your faves and fails videos. I can't believe we're already into March! Thanks, as always. Love the color of your top. Looks gorgeous on you. Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray! Hope you have a tranquil evening. 💗
thank you always for your practical and honest advice!!
Thanks for watching
I was going around Ulta looking at all their skincare yesterday and kept thinking it would be nice if I had Dr Dray here with me. Maybe another video soon?
@DrDrayzday
There's a spammer it looks like?
Love and use the library services all the time! I listen to audiobooks and audio read them every day!
Dr. Dray, thank you for all your videos. Can you tell me if this Dove shampoo/conditioner is safe for teenagers with back acne?
Beautiful hair 😍
I use that dove anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner, and it’s great! And it smells good too!
I love that you mentioned books!!! I should look into my public library. I had no idea they offer audio books as well.
