Casual Magic of the Day: I went to ParkRun this morning and was really struggling to run the 5K as I haven't been running for a while. I started walking and the outpouring of KINDNESS and support from strangers made my cry. People cheering me on through stilted breaths, mascots at every corner telling me I could do it, and a man at the end who had baked homemade cake for all the runners. I was in awe of the community spirit and it made me really emotional 🥹

I also feel the same way that when I visit friends I just want to see all their favorite/frequently visited spots rather than touristy stuff! I will even be like “show me your go-to grocery store, daily walks, classrooms, and study spots!” It doesn’t matter how mundane it is, I just love feeling connected to my friends and seeing how they experience life! I felt like I am having a full circle moment while watching this video. I was smiling the whole time while watching this video. A big huge smile. This was soooo sweeetttt ahhhhh. I was introduced to you two by each other. I can't remember exactly but I think on one fateful day I found one of ruby's videos and in the recommendations was your video and I decided to click it. My life was changed for the better that day. After watching a couple of videos I found out that you guys were friends. That was actually the same day I found Jack Edwards' channel too. wow some good old youtube surfing can actully change lives hehe.
I used to watch you two when i was in my junior year, It's been 5 years and i have a job, it feels like meeting an old part of myself

Personally I really love the winter and am happier when it's snowy or grey skies. I get down when it's hot and sunny (but maybe that's because I'm a redhead with fair skin, so I prefer to keep out of the sun).

On my year abroad during my languages undergrad at Oxford rn and the amount of joy this brought me to see both of you flourishing in such an important city to me was wonderful. I am so proud of how far you've both come, inspiring me in a variety of ways! Also excellent to see that I can get vegan afternoon tea right down the road from me - will defo be looking into that. Next time after October, come visit Worcester College too, and I'll give you a little tour of the only college with its own lake :))

Another reason London would be a dream to live in: It is supposedly THE MOST VEGAN FRIENDLY city IN THE WORLD. Berlin ranks second btw, soooo come over once in a while haha. No but seriously, good luck with apartment hunting, right now it might seem hopeless, but i rlly hope that you will find a wonderful at (at least slightly) affordable place that u can make ur own

This video made my heart feel so full, I actually teared up watching it 🥹 I’m coming to the end of yr13 which means I’m deciding on what uni I go to. At GCSE I had this image in my head that I’d get 3 A’s and go to a Russel group Uni, turns out A levels are really hard 😅 even tho I can still go to a Russel group, I’ve decided to go to a ‘small’ uni on the west coast of Wales (Aberystwyth). Weirdly people have questioned my decision, but I know it will be best for me.

there was a lovely woman called Patricia who we met while getting hot chocolate. she was a long-time subscriber of both of us and told us how much we’d both personally impacted her life. we spoke for a while and she was so lovely. as a token of her gratitude, she sent us an email having booked us afternoon tea the following day (and already paid, so we couldn’t say no!). it was such a kind and generous surprise, especially because Ruby and I both ADORE tea. it was at a really grand venue too 🥹✨ so so kind xx
