- I like this game and wanted to make an overview type video for it, since it seems a bit common for me to hear people join and say "I have no idea what I am doing"
Next Video will probably be completely unrelated to SCP Secret Laboratory and will have a totally different format.

In a official server, the SCPs and Chaos aren’t required to kill each other to end a round. However, a lot of servers make the two factions hostile.

Description: SCP ****-J is a man of unknown descent and age. He is able to communicate with all life forms including humans and SCPs. During the communication all SCPs have been passive to him.

SCP ****-J was exposed to SCP 106 during a containment breach at site-(redacted) he was able to make SCP 106 retreat into his pocket dimension and the whole time while talking referred to him as his son.

Slight correction.
096 is most vulnerable to the Micro, not 049. 049 isn't faster than humans, but unlike 096, 049 can't get forced to stand still against his will. He can simply walk away while closing doors behind him, forcing you to waste time opening them and have an empty Micro afterwards.
Then die and become a zombie.
Little note:
•The MicroHD can be recharged in 914 using the fine setting. I once managed to kill 3 SCPs who camping it out outside of 914, simply because I kept recharging it.
He didn't say 049 is faster then humans he said the complete opposite but yes helpful tips.

Reread my comment, I never said he said so. I repeated what he said to make my statement clearer.
One round, I was 096 and a Facility guard spotted me and a scientist and another facility guard ran away (I think it was those) the guard who spotted me was dangerously close to me with the micro, Once he charged my rage was complete and he chunked 20% of my health but since he was dangerously close to me he didn't survive, Basically if 096 spots you far away and your micro is in range of 096 and charged, 096 will be at his most vulnerable.
The Micro can be recharged? This is game changing for me, I'm always the go-to Micro guy in my squad when I spawn as MTF or Chaos.
some how, i never saw or know that the Micro can be Recharged. But to be honest, it will be Risky to do it. When u are in the Surface or EZ, i may just just left the Micro, ...
... or, YOLO to 914, and not died, or left the Micro on my way :-)
You know, in terms of layout, I've never understood why the more restricted, more secure Heavy Containment is a floor above Light Containment lmao
TGR The real reason is because in Containment Breach, the game had the same layout.
The lore reason is that the idiot who designed the place and said that putting Heavy closer to the surface makes it easier to recontain SCPs, was actually a big brain Chaos Insurgent in disguise and wanted to make breaches more frequent.

In reality, the facility makes kind of a U shape with Light Containment and Surface being the ends of the U and Heavy/Entrance being the bottom, Light containment is just deepest into the facility because the foundation were more worried about a D-Class escaping than an SCP.

You didn't cover the health and speed dynamics. If you are SCP 173, or 049, your special abilities get faster when you are lower on health. on 10% or less health, 173 can clear an entire room in one second or blink period. 049's Revives become near instant.
Yeah. I wanted to try as much as I could to leave out certain information than provide it and become outdated. When I started working on this video, 173s blink time was still 4 seconds but it changed to 3.
173 also can complete 3 (three) shenanigans a blink when low on health

Dont this asshole stole everything from the "side of salt" video. Animation, footage, and even the script is the same.
That's something that's always bothered me, you would think heavy containment would be below light containment as you would want the most distension between the surface and the very dangerous SCPs as possible.( also given staff more time to escape/not having to pass by the more dangerous SCPs.)
It's the layout ported from CB and if you know the lore it was designed for "easy recovery" (actually it was made so containment breaches happen easier)

I don’t think the “heavy” containment has anything to do with how dangerous the SCP is, rather it has to do with how difficult and complex it is to contain it.

Watching this after those 3 years makes me remember so much of the old mechanics. I used to fucking play non stop this game. I usually was the best player on the server, it wasn't too rare to kill a SCP or two in one life for me. Then i stopped playing about 4/5 months after megapatch 2.0 dropped. I started playing it again lately and even tough there were only 2 updates since then the little things have changed so much. 914 changed, guns changed, all scps changed in small ways, 173 and 096 got reworked from scratch, and a few more, make it so this game even if it feels the same, it isn't.
And goddayum does that fuck with my brain, when i try to use a trick i know and find out it's useless now.
So to summarize, this tutorial made me remember how good i used to be and how shit I'm now compared to then.
Also did the parabellum update completely fuck up the performance for all of you as well or is it just me? I used to play at a steady 50/60 fps, now i can barely play at 15/20 with sudden freezes.
similar story here, used to love the game and then just stopped playing cuz life and stuff, and now its so hard to get back into it because its basically a new game LOL,, still seems super fun but i dread having to be a noob again

The Micro does a lot more damage to 106, and kills him faster than any SCP
It is a hid turret downscale to be able to be used by soldiers
On the first day I ever played the game, I was peanut and I didn't know I had to open the gate do I was just there for 20 minutes doing nothing until I opened the door
Maybe it seemed like 20 mins, but light containment is decontaminated in 15 mins. So it was probably more like 5-10

nowadays, people usually go up to 173's chamber and check if he's there, because they put a cabinet near his door

I set my controls to be:
Ctrl - crouch
C - voice chat
Q - inventory
This stops the steam overlay opening every time you open your inventory while sprinting without having to turn it off

Just a note on the usage of the Micro
It can be effective at defeating any SCP, so long as the Micro is consistently in range of the SCP and the server you are playing on hasn't used a plugin or something to jack up their health. This guide was put together based on experience with the game so I'm still getting updated on the effectiveness of the Micro and other general details. Something useful I learned recently is that flash grenades can be upgraded in 914, so they aren't completely useless.
Anyways, keeping 106's telepotation in mind, although very resistant to bullets, he is the most weak against the Micro, which i suppose makes sense since it's supposed to be based off a similar weapon used on him at the end of SCP containment breach should he not be contained prior to your escape.
I stated that 049 was the most vulnerable because of his poor resistance to bullets, considering a facility guard or two, if they land all their shots can take away nearly half of his health alone.
I believe that 173, at 3200 health can be killed by the Micro in one shot, but you do need to be in range for the entirety of the Micro shot. I said that he could escape, but if you have good sightlines on him and he isn't near a corner where he can flee after the next blink, it isn't too difficult to take them down, and although it takes more than his current 3 second blink time to kill him, there is a decent chance he will miss you if you stay in motion during your attack so he can get you before you get him.
96 is the same in that you need to keep the Micro on him for the majority of the time. Killing him is actually easy so long as you do not trigger him early. He can't run fast enough to escape but you will need to look at him eventually to attack.
939 can be killed as well. Using the Micro on a 939 is not much different from using it on a player, besides the fact that they have a bit of sprint time. 939 doesn't have a hefty amount of health, so if you can't kill it with the Micro, a squad of 4 or 5 players with guns, if they keep a reasonable distance, can take it down from full health very quickly.

The playerbase shrunk when I and many others couldn't play anymore due to the gun upgrade update. Cant join matches anymore. SMH.
it doesn't support intel graphics on the main version but it does on public beta branch, also turn off light rendering, and lower graphics settings , unless for some reason you don't have intel graphics , you can probably fix it if you take a sec to join the discord and take a look at the faq

hey here's a pro tip as class d or nerd go the light containment checkpoint and hide in the right side then wait for the lockdown to get to 1 minute by that point there will lots of guns from all the bodys
This doesn't work anymore it hasn't for awhile because everyone saw other people doing it and copied them so now everyone know's this trick.
General Hayes I play with a strat that works most of the time. Gr 18 is where you could find the green card and a gun if you are lucky, bathrooms also have it spawn there as well but the most I’ve seen it in is 012 the music room.

2.Steal cards that are being upgraded so you could easily do 1.
3.when your trapped in a spit just wait until somone unlocks that area so you could escape

I was playing with some friends the other night. Charged up a micro on 106, he teleported away and sent me to pocket dimension, I ran straight forward, escaped, and still killed him with it. Best kill of my life

The top is the worst and the bottom is the best. and the text parallel to the cards tells you what it is good for.
Traveling down, each card on the path is what you get when you put it in 914 on the fine setting.
The Cyan (Zone Manager) card to the left of the Yellow (Scientist Card) card shows an alternative upgrade path. When either of these cards are in 914 on 1:1, they are swapped. Putting the Cyan card in 914 on fine will take it off the normal upgrade path, moving up to a Red (Facility Manager) card. Upgrading that takes you to Black (05 Command) card. This path is obviously faster than the main path but lacks armory opportunities should you need to leave 914 prematurely.
The Green (Chaos Insurgency) card to the right of the Blue (MTF Commander) card is placed there because it doesn't show up in the upgrade path directly but has the exact same access levels as the Blue card.
The other Blue and Light Blue cards (MTF Lieutenant and Cadet) are outside of the path because they typically do not appear in the upgrade process.
I always see it as ''get a card, find the machine, get black card, run''
There's actually a different way you can escape which i do from time to time which is fun, but pretty hard.
Instead of finding 914, you can get a level 1 card and go find other cards from there on out. You can escape the entire facility just by finding cards spread around different areas instead of upgrading. Its a lot more challenging, but fun as you will spend more time by yourself which fits the whole horror game theme stuff instead of waiting with 9 other D-boys to be murdered in 914 or while leaving 914.
Also, the Facility Manager card is shit, you can't get ANYWHERE. Wait for MTF and get to SCP 914 to upgrade your gun and keycard
@@martinytcz1762 not sure what you are smoking but facility manager is very useful. It opens any door except armories. So this card can open the nuke and 106's door. It can also open gate and intercom. You are probably thinking of the *zone* manager which can only open 914 and checkpoints

@@anduro7448 i once was the only mtf left and since 106 and 049 were the only ones alive i decided to make a run for it before decontamination to reaload the micro, i managed to kill 106 because the guy was a idiot

The micro is good mainly for 096 without a doubt. You cannot say otherwise. 096 is the easiest to kill with the micro, and also the hardest to kill with other weapons. Simply get near 096 without triggering the rage, moronic player keeps walking towards you, charge up the micro, wait until its almost done, and then trigger the rage. Instant win. The micro is also good for 939 because you (for some stupid reason) cannot see the player who is charging the micro nor can you hear the micro while they are invisible so you usually cannot see that person until it is already firing.
Going for the nuke is always a bad idea. It is easy to counter, predictable, and likely to get many people killed. Everyone goes for the nuke, this is part of what makes them bad at the game, predictability. If the enemy player always knows what you are doing before you do it then you probably aren't going to be alive very long.
Corner-camping despite what salty player's say is perfectly ok to do. It is basically necessary for 049 as you are too slow to catch up with player's. The more salt you collect the better :D
As much as shooting defenseless player's is fun you are killing potential -meatshields- allies. Who know's, you might be in their exact situation in the next match and that exact player might be the one with the gun.
The thing that makes this game good isn't the game itself it is the player's. That being said the player's also make it awful. Please consider how many people you will annoy by being the hundredth person to play country roads in one day before you do so, I barely play anymore because the main people that usually play on the server's I do tend to be either annoying 6 year old's that think copying other people is funny or random soundboard user's that are just spamming music or commonly used sound's such as "fbi open up!" (I really hate the latter one's in particular because they give other soundboard user's a bad name).
I know that, I shouldn't have to mute half the server.
Peanut Worshippers is a great server just keep in mind the teamkillers who sometimes blow up the entire elevator. but if they do they usually don't say on for long cause a mod will than likely come to get rid of him.

I once somewhat teamkilled my Chaos squad. I didn´t shoot them though, someone just said we should shoot the SCP's and I said we should shoot each other instead.
Well they did start shooting each other without hesitation and only 5 of us survived out of like 11.
I know this game top to bottom yet I still come back to watch this video. It's so rewatchable, i don't know what to tell you lol

Fun fact, heavy, light and entrance zone actually has multiple map layouts for each zone, around 5-7 which is randomly chosen, and he d bois room is always in the same place for the layouts
