There are things that you can not get simply because you don't have enough physical and intellective qualities. The idea that one has to discover what he can and wants to become in order to then reach that particular self is as fascinating as it is illusory. Yeh but delusional projections and dysregulsted nervous systems cannot count as fool-type traits or standard flaws when charging ahead. Hi I have no idea how this may be responded to But I had a boyfriend who I really loved and who I brought deep into my emotional life in a way I hadn’t ever before. I was working a wonderful job that simply wasn’t for me, I had worked there for three years and essentially it felt like a moot spending of time. However, i was also in the midst of potentially moving out of state when I met this person. I wondered … four months into dating, this person I really grew to see and love this person. He eventually asked me if I wanted to leave my job and work for him until I get on my feet in a new career Truthfully I felt weird that this person offered that. I could see the good intention I guess but I also felt that there was something odd about a partner seeing you as so much less … aligned in career and perhaps competent that this person would offer that which in reality may have been the case but didn’t know if this was also a move to control me to keep my presence in the same state I shared I didn’t want that, but I didn’t explain why because I felt so offended and didn’t want to … bring to the surface the issues underlying that offer But I now realize that’s exactly what you need to do in relationships. Either way, I tried to avoid the question over the next few days and then felt the tension and instead of dealing with the issues and do the extremely hard parts I just gave in and said okay And I immediately regretted it I felt a lack of respect and almost… camaraderie w my boyfriend. But as I am navigating reflecting on this I need to know / & am evaluating - perhaps this was a kindness that I took for granted or if I was simply weak in defending myself and lost the love of my life by not battling out my values to be respected while also learning how to really receive and give love / support

I love this. Here's my favorite Carl Jung quote from this morning's reading: ruclips.net/user/shortsNIwya1OmZOw?feature=share
You are starting to understand Hindus ! Jordan Peterson !
Do you think that transgenderism, genderqueering, could be a form of externalizing one’s animus or anima onto themselves so that they can experience/visit the other sex that they desire safely, and then reintegrate that depiction of their partner ideal into themselves as a way to protect the psyche?
What is the name of the whole lecture
Yeh but delusional projections and dysregulsted nervous systems cannot count as fool-type traits or standard flaws when charging ahead. Carrying the latter is not a great starting point could just lead to eventual psychosis. Jung studies established this. This outlook doesnt take on board mental health. Its lacks a broad enough context.
✝️❤️
Jordan Peterson probably have synesthesia the way he moves his hands
first
what a bunch of bullcrap. what are you actually trying to say
“You’re just not gonna see a more orderly gathering of people than the picture on the right, ya know. At Nuremberg, which was the prime place where the Nazis staged their celebrations, it was the biggest gathering field ever made in human history. People arranged themselves, hundreds of thousands of people, into perfect squares. Everything, and you remember the, uh, jackboot goose-step march and the Heil Hitler (he gives the Nazi salute). It’s like, it’s all done in absolutely perfect sequence. And Hitler was a great admirer of willpower.” Jordan Peterson, neo-Nazi.
shut up
That was a criticism. I was expressing dismay at the worship of excessive order.
Hi
I have no idea how this may be responded to
But I had a boyfriend who I really loved and who I brought deep into my emotional life in a way I hadn’t ever before.
I was working a wonderful job that simply wasn’t for me, I had worked there for three years and essentially it felt like a moot spending of time. However, i was also in the midst of potentially moving out of state when I met this person. I wondered … four months into dating, this person I really grew to see and love this person. He eventually asked me if I wanted to leave my job and work for him until I get on my feet in a new career
Truthfully
I felt weird that this person offered that. I could see the good intention I guess but I also felt that there was something odd about a partner seeing you as so much less … aligned in career and perhaps competent that this person would offer that which in reality may have been the case but didn’t know if this was also a move to control me to keep my presence in the same state
I shared I didn’t want that, but I didn’t explain why because I felt so offended and didn’t want to … bring to the surface the issues underlying that offer
But I now realize that’s exactly what you need to do in relationships.
Either way, I tried to avoid the question over the next few days and then felt the tension and instead of dealing with the issues and do the extremely hard parts
I just gave in and said okay
And I immediately regretted it
I felt a lack of respect and almost… camaraderie w my boyfriend.
But as I am navigating reflecting on this I need to know / & am evaluating - perhaps this was a kindness that I took for granted or if I was simply weak in defending myself and lost the love of my life by not battling out my values to be respected while also learning how to really receive and give love / support
The bigger problem is that Peterson peddles Christendom and Jung. Jung was not Christian but viewed things totally differently. I've started studying Jung and I've realized he's more interesting than anyone. I couldn't care less about Christendom after having studied Jung. Jung's theories saved my life, his view of the archetypes.
