I think this short film defines our human desire for a specific person as courageous. I think it also shows that despite a strict design from authority, human's free will will eventually overcome that.
The crazy obsession with Mars drives me crazy. Nothing is more beautiful than Mother Earth. This short film brought all the emotions to the fore, makes one appreciate ever more what we have here,.
Until we have a second planet the chances of our extinction are extremely high, there have already been aatleast 5 major extinction level events here. So the idea to have a second planet is to massively increase our risk of survival and never going extinct. In saying that then we will need to find another solar system in like 1 billion years or so when our local star decides to start fusing helium into carbon and go into the red giant phase and will literally consume mercury, venus, earth and mars soooo yeahhh there is that. Then even eventually all the stars will die as the universe continues to expand and everything is so spread out that matter cant coalesce back into anything and eventually all that will be left is blackholes and even they too will die from spewing hawking radiation out to the point where they run dry and fizzle out. No light, no planets, no nothing. Universal death Enjoy earth while its here because it will be gone no matter what we do

Mr. Robinson It was not belief, the surface was actually destroyed in the movie, but there was a time frame given by scientists to re-surface but the powerful people did not want to lose power/control they held in artificial city/bunker 1000ft below surface that was built to last a few centuries or so. Wow 😳
really enjoyed this one, nice short Susie.
Thank you. So glad you enjoyed it :)
@@susiejones5403 You are welcome, have you made any other films?
@@paulallison6418 Yes but not sci-fi and not online yet - a horror short that is currently out to film festivals and a folk-horror in pre-production - shooting in the summer :) I try to keep my website up-to-date if you wanted to check back from time to time. Thank you for your interest :)

AT FIRST, I thought this was WAAAY cheesey. Bad I had second thoughts. The music at the end, the year drop being blown from her left eye, by the wind, was all too much! Great Movie!!!
Everything you do is very nice. It would be great if you make a short film or series of some science fiction books!★
Thank you so much 😊
Ah, this brought me back to reading The Silo Trilogy. This is a great short film!
This was really good, i totally enjoyed this from beginning to the end. Well done.

That was all.
✌️😁👍
As humanity learns social distancing, and covering our faces, and only communicating via a device, is it a wonder film makers are showing a future where we are unable to relate to one another, maybe this is their way of warning us.
I liked this one.great work
Amazing as usual. Thank you DUST :D
Wooho 😍
I really like the subtle acting.
So pleased you noticed that. Glad you appreciated it. Thank you :)
@@susiejones5403 the lead actor was SO good, and she made the story more compelling.
Haha, at 17:15 you can see the string they used to pull the door closed behind the actors.
Best love story in recent times...
Thank you ❤
First viewing I didn't appreciate it much, but the ending sold me to rewatch.
I find it uplifting that all these post apocalyptic storys, somthing is still taking care of the lawns... don't know whats cutting grass but doing a great job!
I don't think it's post apocalyptic. It's probably some sort of cult
Good film. Was it a small cult that was keeping these people underground? At first I thought it was a global thing, until the paragliders.
The ending had a very Logan's Run feel to it. Nicely done.
What kind of serious science programme is going to give temperature readings in _Fahrenheit?_
An American one.
The voice changed the units between (daily) repetitions but the numbers were the same or nearly so. Oops.
Another Great video!!
Thank you :)
