It was an aftermarket pump i got the work just as good with no trouble clicking the link and put in your car info and search and you will find them with the price
This was a great tutorial. Exactly what I needed. I went ahead and reattached the fuse box after purging the fuel line, then unplugged the battery. Then I took out the old pump and installed the new. The metal seal was a pain to put back on. But when it was done, there was no check engine light! Thanks so much!
Thank you for the step by step tutorial on replacing fuel pump. I felt like vacuum cleaning the debris before removing the pump in case dirty fall in the open tank. Once again thank you so much.
Just wanted to let you know that I’ve only ever changed a headlight in my car. I knew the issue was the fuel pump from sending videos to people of the issue. I watched this tutorial, followed your instructions, and you seriously saved me like $400. Car is running great!
great demonstration. i had a difficult time removing the rear seat bottom cushion. probably because i am 64 years old and not as strong as you. on another video the mechanic put a pan under the fuel pump when he pulled it out of the fuel tank to catch any gasoline drips. i recommend brushing off the top of the fuel pump before removing it from the tank. i would also recommend placing rags around the pump hole and on top of the seat bottom to catch any fuel spill. the gasoline fumes will stink for awhile. as an airplane mechanic i would put a baggie with an absorbent rag in it on the fuel hose to catch any drips. great job. thanks
When working to get out the pump metal ring thing (8:58), have your friend or sibling do the hammering on the opposite way. The metal thing we are supposed to rotate is mostly crooked so this will save tons of time. This is really the perfect and only video you need to place the fuel pump.
Dulla !!! Just saw your video this morning. Replaced the fuelpump (2012 Altima 2.5s) took me more time to go to the store and get the pump than it did to put it on. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
Thanks for sharing, been running my 2018 Nissan Rogue with the CEL on for months now because of bad fuel temp sensor which is part of the fuel pump. Car has 161K miles and although the fuel pump still works, I think its time to get it replaced before it fails catastrophically. Your vides gives me everything I need to know to get the job done myself instead of having my shop do it. I will be buying the OEM fuel pump which will hopefully last as long as the one I am replacing.
Get delfi from Rock Auto also buy the opening tool don't use metal on metal is very dangerous any spark....also put fire extinguisher handy in case of fire good luck
Man thank you for explaining this straight to the point. You the best I will follow now for help. Most people talk for 30 min about they hair instead of the car much respect
Good looking out on this video. It worked on my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder. I just had to cut out a square on the metal panel with electric blade saw. Eazy and simple. No experience needed. Access is behind the driver seat. Back left passenger seat. Lift seat up.Time it took was 25 min. Thanks again for this video.
Thanx for showing how two take the steps in disconnecting fuel line and plug looked at alot of videos you my man the only one that took the time two show important disconnecting the fuel line and plug
I liked the video it was straight to the point not like a lot of others, now some would say to disconnect ur battery before connecting the pump but that was a great video brother
Subbed. Very good tutorial. Very well explained and good job with the camera angles. I look forward to watching more of your vids. Keep up the good work! Many thanks from NYC.
Some good points you show in this video, but no way would I'd use a steel crowbar and steel hammer to remove the lock ring. One spark and you, the car and the building are gone. ⚡💥🔥
Would this be the same process for a 2016 Nissan NV 200 cargo van? My engine cranks but wont' start and it happened right after filled up my tank with gas. I had to get the vehicle towed home from the gas station.
God bless you my friend, hope you googled or found your answer someway.. my car's tank is filled also and I also had to get it towed back from my docs appt. Engine cranks but won't start.
Having issues finding the carrect fuel pump because the ones online have a 5 point connector and my car fuel pump connector has a 4 point connector...will it still or what changes would i have to be done?
So if you come across the problem with the fuel tank/pump metal locking ring not fitting flush or some metal slots are overlapping/misaligned then just use the original Green rubber O ring instead of the new one or get one similar in size to the OEM Green Rubber O ring. I came across the same problem with the new black Rubber O ring not fitting but used the original Green rubber O ring which is bigger than the new Black Rubber O ring in size and I was able to insert the metal locking ring back with no problems. (Took me 2 hours of struggling and finally comparing both Rubber O rings to release my mistake). -2010 Rogue SL AWD-
The only thing I would say is not use the metal to metal on gas to open up the lid on the fuel pump any spark and p try to use something that don't something brass
Hello friend, very good video,., I have a problem with my Nissan Sentra 2016, it started throwing gas when it filled the tank, when it goes down a little it stops bouncing, it seems to me that it is from the top of the tank, do you have an idea what the problem will be with this? Thank you for your help.
Great video and explanation. Does it works with a Nissan Qashqai J10 Diesel? I've been told that my car model has no access to the fuel pump from the back seat, and I should remove the tank growing up the car. They were not sure, I'd like to avoid to dismount the back seat :) as a side note, my car is working, but the sensor for the diesel level is not working.
Thank You for this video. I purchased Nissan Rogue 2020 and engine lights on. (not even a year yet 4,000 miles) fuel pump repair it but when I start my car this week, gas leaking under and smelled gas, what could it be? Thank you appreciate. right now it is in dealer and waiting, no one call yet..
Unplug the fuel pump then crank the car when it shut off open the gas tank and then turn the key off the car make sure no lights on on the dash they remove the fuel line from the pump it will spray alittle but it will stop
here is where you can get the parts amzn.to/2V8rMig
How much did u pay for that pump..? And was it genuine or non genuine?
It was an aftermarket pump i got the work just as good with no trouble clicking the link and put in your car info and search and you will find them with the price
Link not working
Click the link then search for your car year make and model and trim
You’re the first one to say in your video to open the tank lid to release any pressure thanks for the information
you can also remove the fuel pump relay & crank it over a couple times to relieve the pressure.
This was a great tutorial. Exactly what I needed. I went ahead and reattached the fuse box after purging the fuel line, then unplugged the battery. Then I took out the old pump and installed the new. Thank you man you saved me a few dollars on the installation, god bless you

Rachael, what was your initial problem? Were you losing acceleration?
Ruly it’s been a while, but from what I remember my car would turn over but wouldn’t start
Rachael, thank you so much! Helps my research.
Good job showing us how take a fuel pump stop by step

Yes lets create sparks by clanking on the metal right above the fuel tank

Is this the same for a 2009 pathfinder? How did you know where to cut metal panel at to line up with fuel pump?
Getting ready to do 2005 pathfinder. How do you know how deep to cut and where the location of the pump is?
That was the best tutorial ever on youtube.
Thank You! This explained it all. Followed the steps and was done quicker than expected.

To remove the 1st metal plate, some plastic oval (screws) are under a metal bracket. I used an open end 10mm box wrench to turn them. Way easier.
Been trying that shit for 2 hrs useless I'm going crow bar
Thanks so that's a great video
Do I need to disconnect the battery and or other components ( electrical or not ) before replacing pump ?
I love this works ❤
thank you sooo much for the Effort
Having issues finding the carrect fuel pump because the ones online have a 5 point connector and my car fuel pump connector has a 4 point connector...will it still or what changes would i have to be done?

I have a question what if the car doesn't crank to let pressure off tank
Great vid but it does not hurt one bit to say the model you were working on.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Thanks for the info, you are super!
Where can I find fuel pressure regulator in a Nissan Lafesta 2014
I think the lock ring would rotate back on easier if you put a thin film of it under the lock ring.
What are some indicators that the fuel pump needs replacement? 2016 Nissan Altima
Hello friend, very good video,., I have a problem with my Nissan Sentra 2016, it started throwing gas when it filled the tank, when it goes down a little it stops bouncing, it seems to me that it is from the top of the tank, do you have an idea what the problem will be with this? I’ve been told not to use a steel crowbar when pounding around fumes. I guess there’s a brass tool for it that won’t spark?
Good luck finding it tho.
Gd channel gd info new sub
could this be the same for 2017 pathfinder?
Would it be the same process for a 2015?
Yes
Thanks. Waited for a long time to see this.

Great job, but you shouldn't change the direction of the tubing and wires.. Because the tube will kink and also the floater will not work properly
You can only put it in one way or else the tube wont fit right
ALRIGHT 👍🏽 👌🏼
Thank You for this video. I purchased Nissan Rogue 2020 and engine lights on. (not even a year yet 4,000 miles) fuel pump repair it but when I start my car this week, gas leaking under and smelled gas, what could it be? Thank you appreciate. right now it is in dealer and waiting, no one call yet..
Could be a crack in the fuel line, fuel pump or fuel tank it self
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD Thank you so much. new sub here. I appreciate your reply. seems They dont care and no call yet from them. I buy toyota next time.
Where can I find the fuel filter on my Nissan 2013 s
Hi I followed the instructions as you said, but when I removed the fuel line it started spraying everywhere. Please assist.
Unplug the fuel pump then crank the car when it shut off open the gas tank and then turn the key off the car make sure no lights on on the dash they remove the fuel line from the pump it will spray alittle but it will stop
