I've owned various Jeeps for over 20 years. Looks like ya got a good one there. Just remember.... J-ust E-mpty E-very P-ocket 😂🤣😂 Congratulations and welcome to the dark side! ✌😎
There's only so many things you need to replace. The trick is to only buy quality new products. Once you replace hopefully you will get some value from the new parts 😊
How is the project going? The TJ Rubicons bring a ton of money if you just replace the fenders and leave the body mostly stock. Keepers and will appreciate in value............ Hard to find one that has not been butchered..........
ive found that alot of these TJ negatives are myths, like how people say they cant go highway speeds (with the 4.0L they 100% can) but ill be the first to admit that soft top TJs are super loud 👍
I enjoyed it! It would do 70 without much problem on 33s! It rode like a wagon, but that's expected with short wheelbase and solid axles. I found that most the problems people have are due to worn out or incorrectly set up steering/suspension. Thanks for the comment!
Why is the wheel wells not covered with plastic? The sand and rocks will destroy the paint and then rip through the different coatings to the bare metal and then rust.
What's going to happen is.....you're going to get bit by the modification bug and fall in love with that Jeep, and never want to get rid of it. 😂
Haha, you might be right!
My '05 Sport is getting a tub swap and new front fenders right now. Beautiful rust free SC tub from an '04 Willys model.

I've been having fun with it! 3" lift, 33s, and continuing to fix the small stuff.
Exactly what I’m looking for😎
Cool for being a Ford guy you know a lot about jeeps
I am learning slowly!

Nice TJ!
Thanks!
Had one just like it.
How is it going with the jeep. Let me know if you want to get rid of it 😂
3 inch lift, axle bearings, control arms, skid plate, ball joints, and 33s so far 😆 🤣. Everything's for sale for the right price!
Thats a nice jeep.
No need to paint, needs to be polish and shine.
Thanks!
never heard them called pillows..... i have heard them called milk jugs.... my X model has gone up about 25% in value in the last 5 years.
Haha, never heard that one. 25%!?That's good to hear!
Why are the fenders so skinny. Not a rubicon
All factory Rubicon. This is how the 03/04 was from the factory
After messing with airplanes, my Rubicon seems cheap
Compared to a plane, it is cheap! 🤣
