Nice use of Sonic music. This REALLY helps dude. I've used for Alex since the beginning, but I'm limited to using only GGPO (yeah...) and facing the hordes of trolls. In part 2 you should cover how to counter Dive Kicks, and Dive Kick crossup.

@Jak00125 Yea everything here applies to yang also. Except I block a lot more against yang when I'm close to him. My goal there is to block his low forward (or whatever move he uses to go in to slashes) then red parry one of the slashes and hit him hard. Takes practice. If they are hesitant about slashing then you can really move in and mix in your karathrow, overhead, knee+slash.. etc...

Hate to bother you again (I feel like the little kid pestering someone on how to do a Hadouken) but do those tips still apply against Yang? What do you do differently against Yang?

PS: You should do an Alex vs Urien too. My big problem is keeping pressure on him after knocking him down because Urien has a lot of ways to escape, and all he needs is one knockdown and your fucked.

talk about when you get hit by a shoulder and your facial and gesture reactions after getting hit by one.

Alex doesn't play properly in third strike! He has got near no good effective combos. Plus not enough of his moves hit mid. They mostly hit high and low!

I've tried what you said against Yun and I just can't do it with Alex. I have more of a chance with Yang but with Yun I get destroyed not just because of how gdlk the Dive Kick and that mixup is but a lot of Yun's moves just beat Alex's clean. It's retarded. So I just jew out and pick Chun against Yun and do better. I literally beat a guy who streaked my Alex just with Chun's bHP and the occasional grab. It's a retarded matchup. But Chun is good at shutting down Dive Kick spam.
