Great video! Very well produced! I do have a couple of questions: 1. im 6'4 and ~180lbs, would it be a comfortable fit? 2. whats the mpg after break in?
Thanks for watching! CSC estimates 65 mpg. I haven’t done my own test on that yet, as I only have a little over 100 miles on the bike. Your weight is no problem for this bike, but it could feel cramped at your height. If you’re interested in CSC, the TT250 Enduro might fit you better.
How is this at 33-34mph? Do you feel like you need to up shift or downshift? I need a second bike for a particular road. None of my current or previous bikes like 33 at all. You mentioned the triumph tiger 900 being great but not fun for every situation. I’m in a similar situation. I’ve had a buell xb9 and 12 which I absolutely love then a Harley street 500 which was awful so I bought a sfv650 and a Vulcan s. Loved them all but I just want something that will do 33mph but still be safe on the open road between my house and the loop I ride. I don’t really want a grom so I’m considering one of these.
I didn’t pay specific attention to the 33-34 mph range, but I rode a lot of 35 mph roads and don’t recall feeling like I was shifting excessively. I’m going to do a speedo test video soon, so I’ll pay attention at 33-34 and report back.
The SG-250 is comfortable doing speeds of 30 to 35 miles per hour, either with the stock 14t front sprocket, or the optional 16t sprocket. I suggest getting a carburetor jet kit, to ensure the bike doesn't run lean at wide open throttle.
I know a lot of people like them, but I'm not a huge fan of the look. Depending on how well the round mirrors work for me, though, I might have to try bar ends just for the function.
@avoidhighways250 admittedly they are 70% form and 30% function, but they embody the cafe racer spirit. Added em to my '24 Royal Enfield GT650... couldn't be happier.
Nice bike. I hope you changed the oil already. I had the Venom Ghost.
Nice video. I want to get it in white as well
Thanks! The white is really sharp in person. The photos on the CSC website don’t do it justice.

Ressie Park
SG-250, not boring. ;-)
I think people need to hear that! Yeah, it's a small engine. But it's a lot of fun!
There’s an idle adjustment screw on the right side
Yeah, I've tried increasing the idle speed several times. I reach a point where if I try to increase the idle any more, it just dies instantly.
@@avoidhighways250 that’s weird. Mine shipped with a low idle. A quarter turn on the idle screw fixed it instantly.
Get the idle up to 1,500 to 1,600 rpm. Less stalling.
Good helmet audio.
Thanks!

@@Bethany_mo I checked today, and it cruises at 33 in 4th gear at about 5,000 rpm or in 5th at 4,000 rpm. Either is comfortable on this bike.
@@avoidhighways250 Thank you for checking that out. I will definitely look into one of these in the near future.
Might look sick with some bar end mirrors.

Small package, lots of fun 😂
The bike, not the rider!
Sounds like it’s Idling pretty low
Adjust and tighten mirrors before riding.
I was so excited to get riding that I . . . neglected that part! :-)
