How incredibly well-written "This Circle" is. It's definitely up there among some of Paramore's best material.
Idk man....Brand New Eyes and After Laughter make this song run for its money. When compared to their best material and their newer best material this song looks a bit "meh". It's a lovely song nonetheless.
I agree. The structure and flow of the song is timeless. It shows the OG paramore influences.

Emergency was released as a single and since radio didn't like to play songs with screaming (TRJA-Face Down) so they made non-screaming (non-crab) so they produced a version without screaming. I wish radio would play screaming songs. They're missing out on so many listeners.

I can’t believe I haven’t heard This Circle in so long. Now it’s one of my favorite Paramore b-sides.
It’s nice that Josh sang on these songs. I know he sang the harmonies and stuff live. But I wish he would’ve sang in the studio more.

i was lucky to find one on ebay from a seller. still cost me a bit but got lucky since i am in the UK and the only guy selling it here wanted almost £1000 for it, i managed to find one for £400. ive spent like 5 years saving up from my job for it but the only downside is i dont want to play it too much in fear of scratching it. really wish they re released all the songs on a bonus cd or something

She sounds so young in Oh Star, it gives me hope to start a singing at 17
Heads up though: Her former vocal couch (Brett Manning) from the beginning of Paramore to Brand New Eyes pretty much taught her wrong singing techniques so from Singles Club to now is her singing right. Her new vocal couch I think is Ron Anderson.

Avril Lavigne Fans It's true, remember around 2009 when her voice was gone? They stopped the concert once at Decode because she lost her voice. She changed coach after that. The thing is, even though he taught her wrong techniques and it fucked her voice up, her voice was way better, her breathing was better and her vocal range was better than what it is now. (Also, I think she has nodules on her throat/cords or something like that...)
Carla Gomes hayleys range is fine. she's singing healthier now but it's fine. also her voice and breathing are still fine lmao.

Man I would've been 4 when this was released and I've only been listening to Paramore for the past 3-4 years and didn't really get this much into their music until soon after After Laughter was released. I feel like I missed so much. I still get to enjoy their incredible music, but I don't get the thrill of hearing it as it comes out.
same for me, I've never heard of Paramore before, and I've been a huge fan of the band for almost a year, I missed out on soooo much and I feel like I've never lived, even though I haven't experienced much of the releases or the hype of the early days, I still love Paramore and I got to experience "Petals For Armor" from Hayley!
I discovered paramore around the same age you did, except that was back in 2007! It was amazing to kinda grownup with paramore (them only being a few yrs older than me), but dont let things you cant control keep you down. You found Paramore and are able to enjoy multiple albums without waiting a decade lol. Late is always better than never!

I imagine the percentage of people that listened to super early Paramore when it first came out is probably very low. We didn't have access to music like this back in 2006. Either your mate sent you a dodgy Limewire link or you got lucky browsing MySpace!
