Great video, thanks. I have seen another video where they use the coffee grinder to mix the paint and sawdust, very quick and saves your wrists!
Aye, I have a friend that does it that way, but they keep buying new grinders 🤣
personnaly i pour the paint directly in the coffee grider with the sawdust, so no elbow grease needed...
I have lost a coffee grinder to doing that, they arent designed for wet products

Idk brother, I can drink a beer pretty fast.
I like to mix big batches, use 4-5 different greens, a small hint of yellow, browns, a little black - NEVER ORANGE! Oh my word, that stood out like a sore thumb

That's what I did on my latest project, I really like the texture it leaves, it's way better than bought flock & when you seal it, it's rock solid.
A master a work! Beer in one hand flocking off in the other 😅. Seriously tho this is brilliant bud ☺️👍
You know what I like best about it, it seals really well & takes varnish like a boss! Retains it's texture (which it better than regular flock) & doesn't budge once varnished! Scratch that, the beer is the best bit haha

The problem with sawdust flock is that it always looks like coloured sawdust. I prefer foam flock over sawdust flock, because in my opinion it looks more natural. And you can make it yourself almost as easily a sawdust flock.
Personally I like a mixture of both & the sawdust has the added advantage of never coming off. These days I put fiber flocking over the top of sawdust flocking.

Cool to the point tutorial if you make your own, but I'd rather just buy it ready-made.
Cheers! I get that, it's the sort of thing that very easy to buy these days. I just don't like the visual texture of bought product, plus I'm a complete glutton for punishment, if there's a way to make it, I will haha.
