The timing of your buy levels at different times will determine the average price of your stock. Always try to gather good data to know if stocks are overvalued or undervalued. Based on that study, you can either book partial profits when the stocks are overvalued and accumulate stocks when they are underpriced. In all, conviction and patience in holding fundamentally good stocks is the key
Good One. Please also post one on sequence of returns risk. Its something I learnt first from Pattu and is very useful for anyone just 5 to 7 years away from retirement

@@vigneshpalanivel4973hi bro, I have started buying MON 100 Etf, but whenever I buy, it shows "regulation" warning message. Could please explain that?
15 years Achu long term investment pananum bro..even if you put it in nifty 50 index funds..u will get only 10-12% absolute returns (NOTE: Not CAGR RETURNS)😅from your whole investment..for long term investment u have to put SIP on daily basis without considering up and downs in Market..then only u will get 10-12% absolute returns after 15 years with LTCG ..
Yaa if that is absolute then you in huge loss due to inflation over these 15 years. Since FD gives atleast 6 to 7% absolute returns or CAGR(both almost same right)per year from the point of investment. But only thing worrying is finding the dips in every month. I think best strategy is to invest small lumpsums every dip every month for atleast 2 years or you can do that in 5 to 6 year period and then rely on power of compounding to see slightly better returns at the end of 10,15 or 20 years eventually your portfolio will surely grow at a better rate than just dumping lumpsums at a particular date. Anyways the only good news from equity market compared to crypto is that equity market always grows with time even after dips or short term crashes. So the motto is to stay invested at dips buy low sell high when you reach your target for FIRE or whatever u call it
