The fire truck could be a display vehicle. It looks old so might fit the idea
Don’t worry about the Eiffel Tower. It’s just been set back to factory settings.
The leaning tower of Paris. 😅
@@FelipeVinhao LOL! I guess it could be that since sometimes it leans when you move it around a lot
This may be a crazy suggestion - but you should replace the black tops of the lamp posts with white. That would give a little more snow details and would match better with the lights. Your winter village though! Love it!
Bricksie is learning the important lesson that you’re damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. 😂
The sidewalk looks way better than I ever imagined! I would have stuck with the road, but that would have been a missed opportunity
You should ad the scene from Home Alone when he is being chased by the cop with the toothbrush. (on the skating rink)
Could you modify the fire station and make it a fire fighting station by sled or snowmobile? Then it could still service the whole winter village and have a place in the village?
A Fier truck snow slay..😊.
Looking good! Can you add a hot tub, perhaps near the Bricklink lodge?
I saw the most amazing light kit (from Light my Bricks I believe) for the Eiffel Tower that made me want to buy the tower. It's quite a light show and looks awesome. Just a thought since you need to rebuild it anyways.
The awkward silence when getting to the fire station😂
What you could do is
A) put the fire station where the alpine lodge, and move the blue house and lodge down the street.
And then make a road at the end, where the firetruck can go, and you also get a way to make a platform for the tram.
B)
Make a road going down/ bridge in front of the fire station
C)
Move the fire station down to the mountain, move the buildings around so you have the station facing the skating ice and make a single road just in front of the station
I’d come rebuild the Eiffel Tower for you bricksie! Im not too far from you actually.
When you imbed the tunnel exit have it face up the hill and not facing the building., you could also build the tram stop up the little bit of snow away from the firepit. Great job both of you!
Maybe the underground tunnel enters into the winter chalet?? Then you don’t need an exit on the other side of the tracks.
Does not make sense. Best would be track crossing with ligths etc..
I’d happily come to rebuild the Eiffel Tower for you! Watched your videos for years. I was one of your first 500 subscribers!
You should keep the Eiffel Tower broken and make a doomsday diorama with the broken Eiffel Tower
There's nothing wrong with having people walk over the train tracks there. If anything, just make a small pedestrian crossing.
Oh nooooo! Disaster in the LEGO room! Haha, make Simon fix the Eiffel Tower!!
Oh, Jordan, I feel for you. My Eiffel Tower is also sitting in a pile after suffering an accident. I'm waiting to rebuild when I can install lights, though. The Winter Village looks great!
"...And kicked it with my croc"
LOL!! You know that Batman Villain, Killer Croc? Welp, I see he's close to you, be careful!
Sounds like a job for Simon to repair your Eiffel Tower, love the details though and can not wait to see it finished soon!
Muhahah. Home project for Simon over the Christmas break
I was thinking the same thing. Simon the engineer could whip that out in no time. Or at least learn some Lego Eifel engineering. 😁👍
I like the idea of a guy on a ladder fixing up the string lights. Looks great!
Well, you can shrunk the truck to make it fit the sidewalk.
Amazing video!! I love the lake in the center!!!
Its looking so good bricksie. I think a raised bridge going from fire truck to off the display would really look good and add more dimension.
You could add a small slope going down right out of the fire station that allows the fire truck to drive down to the lower area or make a parking stall under the railing for the fire truck would be cool
Love the guy on a ladder installing lights... saves a little money and great story!
Turn the truck around and say it exits out the back of the building.
If that doesn’t appease people tell them it’s lego, it’s got no engine, there’s no fire, plastic melts so lego people don’t really get the befit of a fire department like actually humans do!
Who are these people that look at a imaginary world and worry about that crap, seriously.
It’s a very cool winter village and it shows others who might want to build there own winter village a bunch of fantastic little touches from a very talented lego creator.
Maybe you can make the middle platform on Santa's mountain..the place where the reindeer play their reindeer games...Ala Rudolph the red nose reindeer.
Just a suggestion.
Love the builds so far. .soo keep it up! Good job.
I got this: The Fire Hall is from the original village from the early days and has been kept intact and is now a museum. The Winter Village buildings and landscape have shifted and changed around it for decades. The Fire Truck is an antique static display for all to enjoy in the fabulous ‘Fire Hall Museum’! I’m pretty sure you can come up with a small museum sign to put out front… Also, please do the guy on a ladder in the process of putting up the rest of the lights (maybe the ladder teetering and the guy almost falling off with a dog or something else making a problem at the base of the ladder!). Awesome ideas Jordan, keep up the great work!
Look awesome! I vote for a ladder and a guy putting up the lights!
Hey there, don't feel so bad about destroying the Eifel tower, I had something similar happen just last week. I have the same 3 "winter village collection" sets you have (Santas visit, Elf Club House & Gingerbread house). I had just placed them & got my "Holiday Winter Village" finished (Mostly), so we (Fiance & I) decided to start puting up lights in our window behind the village. Keep in mind i also have a 4 foot christmas tree in the center of my village too. Well, you guessed it, the inevitable happened. While we were puting up the lights, I bumped the tree, it came tumbling down which pulled up train track, which swung around and took out everything! All on the floor, all in millions of tiny pieces!! It happened so fast.....So I had just seen one of your videos the day before about the Rebrickable "Brick Artisan" instructions & am rebuilding all 3.
I felt that I freaking felt that the eiffel tower will suffer somehow xD
Ha! I would LOVE to rebuild your eiffel tower... I would restart from scratch though. I love the building process of lego. I can help mrs briksie and the kids too! As long as i have a place to rest and internet, I'm happy! After the holidays though so if it would be something you'd want... give me a shout!
Liking your videos and attention to detail in your city and dioramas.
IDEA: for santas Mountain you could add a cave entrance on the middle level having santas sleigh being pulled out by the reindeer
Hey bricksie just a thought maybe you could make a tunnel for the trollie instead of a tunnel for the figures, this was just a thought other wise looks great keep the great videos to.
Why not lose the fire station for the winter village and the resulting compression of the other buildings to make up the lost space will enable the gingerbread house to find a space on the street instead of being a bit lost where it is now.
TIPP FOR THE FIRE STATION: I like the way you made stairs going from the top area to the snowy part. Perhaps a way to make the fire truck able to go out on emergencies you could build a ramp going down and go strait into the distance.
My thoughts exactly
or have a story of the fire truck putting out a ginger bread cookie fire
I love the tunnel idea going under the tram but they might look a little better or more tunnel like with more of a slope on the openings. I know that may be a lot of work but just an idea and may solve the color issue 😊
Perhaps you should turn the fire station into a mountain rescue centre, that would make more sense!
I’m not sure the tunnel is quite long enough,it looks like the guy popped up out of nowhere,bc stairs would have to go back under him and him have head clearance. Love all of the fence and stair details, and the tree farm is the cutest
Love your builds Jordan...so many cool stories and details...keep up the great work dude!
🎄Great Winter Village! Nice to see MrsBricksie! 🎄 Eiffel Tower Parts Pack😂 !
Your Winter Village is looking really nice. I love it!
You should put a ramp by the fire station
I think you can bulid somethig like a bridge for fire truck to drive on it. It can connect to some "imaginar" road somwhere.
that looks amazing! i like that building technique you did for the skating rank.
Remove the firetruck. No road looks great. Just add several entry and exit points and a small over look by the pond. It really has the village feel with the buildings lined up so nicely
You could add a hot chocolate stand right next to the skating rink, might be nice. The village looks amazing by the way, love the raised platform creating all that space for the figs!
Love the winter village! As for the fire truck, don’t sweat those comments that are coming from both ends of the spectrum! Here is an idea…maybe it is a static truck and used only as a display for the fire station that is a museum or visitor center, or tourist destination! Problem solved and a static truck makes perfect sense for the village …who doesn’t like a fire truck for xmas! Well done Jordan! 🎉
i LOVE the idea of having a story - a guy instals the lights!
You can always open up the fence in front of the fire truck and make a road that comes straight out and off the table. Kind of like it just drives through if needed.
All of a sudden 444 million people just choked on their baguette. Sacré bleu.
🤣
I can imagine the firefighters saying “Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads”… Then flying away!
Looks like the figs will bump their head before they even take their first step down into the tunnel
You’ve done a great job here with the village. You struggled initially but it was great to see you come up with a solution. This whole process is good for us so we can see other ways of thinking when our projects go astray.
Looking good. Great what you have done with the village
And your tower you can build another time
For the lights what u could’ve done is add some beams to the building ps and have the lights attached to them rather than have several gaps in the fence or mount some snot bricks to the wall and place the lampposts on them
That jagged brick masonry wall next to the new winter village lodge, looks like a good area to build a wooden bridge to cross the train tracks.
Looks awesome the chair lift is amazing great job
You could have a ramp going down and onto the lower part and then a snowy path for the fire truck to pass
the home alone house easily fits there with the theme
use the fire truck to do the putting up lights then you dont have to warrry about the road for the truck
Turn Firetruck into Fire-sleigh … could be cool way to make the comments happy😂
The Eiffel Tower fail is so bad. I'm so sorry you accidentally broke it! This is a similar incident I had with mine crumbling. I was trying to fix part of it, but then I got angry from a meltdown and then I pushed down on it and it collapsed. I then dropped the other parts and it crumbled completely. After I did destroy it, I decided then to rebuild it so I wouldn't lose any pieces. I got it fixed and now it's standing beautifully again. That thing's almost like an antique, despite it being just a set
Looks great! Maybe just imagine the fire station as a museum instead of an active firehouse.
I wish i was Lego sized so i could play in this beautiful winter wonderland! I love all of the stories. Its not evem December and you guys are knocking it out of the park. I cant wait to see what you do next!
Ok how about this story line… the fire station is actually a Fire Fighter Museum and that finely restored vintage Fire Truck is their centrepiece display in all its glory! 😃
@Bricksie You need someone Ice Fishing! It’ll look amazing near the ice rink or next to the campfire and maybe 1 fish roasting on the fire! 🎣🎣🎣
Nooo! You got my story idea for the ladder and the tree farm too! Haha, well I guess geniuses think alike!
I've been waiting for that to happen. Was just a matter of time
12:21 oh noooooooooo 😢. It is impressive that you haven’t seemed to bump into it until now, but I wouldn’t of thought it’d be that catastrophic
Your winter village looks like a Hallmark movie😊❤
That was meant to be a complement, by the way😅
Quick suggestion build a bridge in front of the fire station coming out towards the viewer so the fire truck can leave and you can create more minifigure scenes on the bridge.
Love it, looks amazing! 🎄
Just tell over that the road is on the other side of the buildings.
For the fire house you should lower it under the platform and make the building taller and make a bridge in the sidewalk so the firetruck can drive on the snow
I kinda like the black bars for the handrails more than the gold ones
awesome video jordan the winter village is looking amazing great job
You could move the fire station over where the gingerbread house is and make a small road for it and put the gingerbread house in the fire stations place
Instead of a fire truck you should build a sort of Santa’s sled fire truck instead, then it can fly place to place!
IDEA: Put the fire station at the end and put the fire truck out in front of it on the road, ready to go.
you should add a guy rolling down the ski hill in a giant snow ball
That rebuild looks like a nightmare... aint nobody got time for that... I'll buy it from you 😆
I feel your pain our dogs knocked our Eiffel Tower Down a few months back… not fun
Fore your fire departement. It is ferry easy, open in the front of the fire departement, remove the fance and only strait to the edge whit your road, on the side of the table you make the corners of the road so it looks like the road just is in front of your table. Easy to make and fore sure good to do
Please rebuild Eiffel Tower during a live stream, love your channel!😂
The Winter village looks amazing and super lively with all those minifigures.
I hope that the Christmas elves will build/fix your Eiffel Tower when you sleep.
Ouch! Also, love the skating rink.
Very cool. literally. lol! It has given me a lot of ideas of doing something similar.
Thank for another video I really enjoy it
Since the tunnel entrance is facing like it, just swap out the wrong colors and have them at the non-visible side of both.
Love the story ideas for the lights installer haha
Love it.
I’d like to see what you would do with a Star Wars Hoth battle
So much fun! I love the tunnel idea. Thanks for sharing your process. Sorry about the Eiffel Tower crash :-(
A magical little village with lots of cute stories. Thanks for the holiday magic
You should try and center the railing on the firehouse then add a angled road plate on the drop down.
I had a Lego disaster recently. I have 2 of the L shape hospital sets and one is built normal and the other is reversed to make a nice long hospital. Anyways I was messing around calibrating an RC scale truck remote to the truck on the same table and the truck reversed full speed into it. The truck is 12 pounds and blew right through it lol. I was shocked. I wasn’t going to rebuild it but after a week later I couldn’t stand looking at all the pieces and what it used to be so I rebuilt it.
the lady enjoying the ice cream is haveing a hot chocolate with wipped cream
I solution for the Firetruck is a ramp with a ‘fake’ straight road to nowhere indicating he can go outside the Village.
chairlift winter village update
You might be able to rob some of the 1x with clips you need for Xmas lights from the Home Alone set, you don't have it displayed right now anyways. Give family a hug thanks for what you do
The tunnel idea is really cute
Jordan you could always make a ramp for the 🚒 to go down and have the "road" "off screen"
Change the fire truck to reindeer drive. How else would Santa's fire brigade get around?
