- Survey_Program.exe at a natural pace, trying to look at everything without breaking the flow of the game. In case you can't or don't want to play it for yourself!
I'm sure there are some things I missed, and a few mistakes are made, but 0 EXP is gained.
Cuts are made toward the end because I wandered around like an idiot but didn't find anything significant or funny. The big door (you know the one) is locked. I left in the bird because GOSH DARN BIRD, which I think is a valid reason!

EDIT: I am indeed aware that Pacifist and Genocide runs of Deltarune are the same, but dang it, it's what's in your heart that counts, y'all.
2ND, SLIGHTLY BELEAGUERED EDIT: When leaving a comment, please be aware that this video released the same day Deltarune itself did. The things we know now about the game, like pacifism and genocide being the same and it being impossible to gain EXP, were unknowns at the time. Something feels much darker about this game. Not even necessarily in the same way that UT genocide run felt (although the very end of this chapter indicates that Chara is still involved, so there’s also that aspect to worry about); there just seems to be a more somber tone to this whole story. Not sure why. Also, everything just feels a bit...off. It’s kind of disorienting. There’s definitely something more going on, and I guess we’ll have to wait to find out what that is.

Game feels like... I dunno. If the first game is like a metaphor for a boy and his older brother having to deal with their parents separating, than this one is like a continuation of that. The boy's older, and his brother is gone. He's alone and bitter and no matter what he does in his fantasy world he eventually has to come home where the pain still is and he doesn't know how to deal with it yet.

I have a theory:
Back at the genocide ending of UNDERTALE, Chara says “Let’s erase this pointless world, and move on to the NEXT.” But she isn’t talking to Frisk, she is talking to the player. She is saying let’s go to another world and take control of another vessel. This “Next world” that she speaks of is none other than the world of DELTARUNE. The vessel in this game is Kris. Think about it. The events in this game make it seem like a sequel and a prequel at the same time, but that isn’t possible. No. It’s another world. Another Dimension. As Toby Fox mentioned himself, “What we’re seeing here isn’t the world of UNDERTALE.” There’s “Different characters living different lives.” If you do pacifist after genocide in UNDERTALE, Chara takes control at the end and just shows that she never forgot what we, the player, has done. Genocide. And at the end of DELTARUNE, Chara remembers why we’re in this world. Genocide. As expected at the end of the game, Kris is possessed by Chara (Which is shown by the knife and red eyes). Chara sees that we haven’t killed anyone throughout the entire game, so she takes out Kris’ soul, the only thing we can control in the game. With the knife, Chara plans to commit Genocide once again, which is what is expected to be waiting for us in chapter two.
In conclusion, DELTARUNE is a sequel to the Genocide ending of UNDERTALE, but not in the same world.

Hey, thanks for this. My reflexes for this game's battle system aren't up to wits, so I'm glad someone uploaded a no commentary LP of this.
Kris is Chara, the same Chara that killed Frisk at the end of the genocide route, moved on to a new world to kill all on IT too. Why else would they ask Undyne if they knew Alphys and she didn't, or say they've seen Sans before when they've never met. Not to mention the ending, the knife, the red eyes, the maniacal smile, all trademark details of the homicidal demon!
Well...Toby Fox said it has nothin' to do with Undertale. And the very end with the knife in all could be a way to represent Kris hurting themselves, kind of hoq some teens cut themselves bc of depression or to release pain. My guess tho it may be wrong

theory: the darkners are real in some sort of way, in some sort of other world. i notice this kind of story in alot of RPGs. this story starts off with abandonment. it follows a similar way to the RPG imaginary friends. they created something they didnt think was real, until it came back to them. the "lightners" made stuff like cards and plushies. they used to use these items, until they forgot about such. " the lightners left us, stripped of meaning". the chaos king was trying to say that once they were noticed, until forgetting them, stripping them of meaning. hope you liked that theory!

Fun fact: If you attack all the enemies you encounter and weak them to get them tired and then pacify them with ralsie, the game counts as a pacifist route, even though you made innocent people suffer just to send them to sleep

I love all these videos of Delta Rune titled Pacifist or genocide, run through because the whole point of Delta Rune is to have zero choices, after all the endings are almost identical. And the main point is that none of your choices matter, while Undertale's main point is all choices have consequences. That being said I understand why they are being titled this way, because you can still choose to attacked characters or not. I just find it kinda amusing :) . Anyway nice run!
To be fair, while it may not change the final outcome, according to the Delta Rune wiki: being a complete pacifist in Delta Rune does actually determine who *(KINDA SPOILERS BELOW)*
intervenes during the end of the final boss fight. It might seem like a "minor" detail, but story wise is actually pretty significant (at least in my opinion).

They do matter though, just not nearly as much as in the first game. Whether you fight or spare enemies results in something different happening after the battle with the King. In addition, dialog with a lot of the minor characters in the Card Castle changes depending on whether you've fought or spared them in the past.

Okay, I have got a theory:
In Undertale, there were "Frisk" for Pacifist and "Chara" for Genocide. And now we have "Kris". Kris is an anagram for "Risk", what is in the name Frisk. So we could say that Kris is for Pacifist and another "demon" (maybe called "Arch" or something like that) stands for Genocide. And in the last seconds of the video, we could see Kris twitching in his bed. Maybe he had there a fight with this demon and the demon won. In the next seconds he fell out and shambled to the carpet to tear his soul from his body and throw it in the cage. Then you see a knife, the creepy smile and the red lightning eye. So maybe Kris is obsessed from a demon which has the same goal as Chara: Genocide
I repeat again, this is only my theory, what means that it does not have not be true!
