Liking these video have been wanting to get a doodle for the last 3 yrs. Now that my youngest is 3 it may be time to finally put my name on the waitlist to get one
No More Wiggles? Is the one ingredient melatonin? If it isn't, then switched to melatonin it works better, & 1/40th the price, my girl is one year old & weights 50 lbs, so I give her 1 quarter of a 10mg cherry flavored chewable tablet & she'll be laying down relaxed in 3 minutes. Medication kicks in very fast in dogs. I googled No More Wiggles, here are the ingredients; Premium Hemp Oil Extract, Organic Valerian root, Organic Lavender, Organic Rosemary, Organic Passionflower ... I checked each of the ingredients, nothing poisonous to dog other than the Lavender but only if given in large amounts. But nothing I found states what is a large amount, & I'd bet it is just there to smell good to the pet owners.
Melatonin is good stuff, I give it to my dog during thunderstorms, 4th of July (fire-works) & when I know I'm going to have a lot of guests at the house. And when she is going to be left alone for a few hours. And yup you're right, I can see it kick in & only takes a few mins. And only 5 bucks at Walgreens.
We are getting an Aussiedoodle puppy! Is there a crate size you would recommend as we really only want to buy one and use a divider when they are little. Thanks 💛
Samantha Berning we have a large crate and that’s all we’ve used, and it was given to us so we don’t have the divider. I think you will be good if you are getting a big one and using a divider! 👍🏼

aww so fun! I will add it to the list of things to film! I would say just being consistent and try to limit their time in the crate if that's what you're using. We had lots of poop accidents in the crate but it is just a phase
I have a 10wk Aussie & she is soooo calm (almost lazy lol) and so sweet. Did you find that she got more energy as she got older? Also, any tips for potty training? She’s getting better, but still has nighttime accidents in her crate, been trying everything to combat that!

Bell training is so useful for dogs so you know when they need out and was really easy to train.

You need bells on your door! I trained my Aussie in 2 weeks and had pads in the house when she can’t wait.
We had bells on the door, she thought it was a toy and chewed it up 😆

I don't remember exactly but she was almost a year? maybe around 8 months at the youngest. I would just check with your vet if you're unsure!

She does bark at people that come to the door but more of an alert rather than aggression if that makes sense

Our dog had bad accidents at night too. They grow up so fast that stage doesn't last long. hang in there with potty training
I would suggest taking her out in the middle of the night or if they are really young, every two hours through the night.
Also, whatever time she goes to bed, take he water away about two ish hours before bedtime.
