I'm an American woman living in Wyoming, watching a group of Pakistani people watching an orchestra in Denmark, with a Japanese conductor, playing a piece from a movie about the American old west which was shot in Spain, funded by the Germans with a composer and a director who were both Italian. It puts an interesting perspective on things. (Sorry about my run on sentence. 😋 Lol) This is also one of my favorite movie themes of all time. Edit: Thank you for all the likes! Second edit: this version is amazing. I've only heard the recorded version, but I've never seen a live version. It gives me goosebumps!
The gentleman with the moustache has music in his soul! It’s like he can’t hold himself, like a wolf dearly wanting to join in with the howl of the pack! It’s such a joy to watch him explore all this for the first time.
They all have moustache. I would attribute your comment to the youngest guy called Mukhtiar. He made the impression on me as that wolf wanting to join. He clearly sees such orchestra for the first time and is immensely intrigued by what he sees.

Comments like "It's like the entire village is playing" is why I watch the channel! Because it's such a different perspective than I would have thought of, a whole other frame of reference and it's so great to learn about other lives this way. Also makes me want to watch a movie about a village who decide to form a symphony orchestra 😁
Yes, exactly! Coming from a large metropolitan city in the US, it's easy to overlook that there are such small communities in the world. Such a great perspective changer!
@Dr Perun a lot of eastern countries period. The upper castes are usually very much offended by our music, but still want money from it from concerts; and even then, if an American artist does show up there, they're probably playing to the wealthy, and it will be censored for everyone else. It would be very easy for poorer people to have not heard really popular stuff. That's why I don't tend to listen to Hollywood mainstream. They just sell out to that crap. Everyone should be able to have and learn good music.

I couldn't agree more! I used to walk down to my corner convenience store, where a Pakistani gentleman worked. We discovered that we were both singers, so whenever I came in, we would exchange bits of songs from our cultures and try to sing them back to one another. I really miss that.

Yes, this! My first thought about Abdul was that he seems stern, but I have come to see that he is measured, observant, and sincere. He has said that he never received formal education, but he is proof that knowledge and wisdom are learned from many sources!

I love watching Mukhtiar and Muharam especially when there is music to react to. They get so involved and it is adorable! Poor Mukhtiar when he didn't realise at first that it was a dummy... bless his heart. I wonder how Parvita feels when she sees ladies singing and playing in the orchestra alongside the menfolk.
Your remark about Parvita is right on the money. She was also watching a woman in full charge and control of a world standard orchestra, a bittersweet moment, perhaps.

Aaaa I'm so happy you asked them about the themes, and you properly introduced them to many different elements up until now so they could really get a grasp of it. That's why I love this channel so much! Even if you say you are doing more music reactions because it is easier for you and you can put out more content that way, you still give the proper respect to each performance, your reactors, and your audience by the amount of research and careful consideration you put into each selection you make. We see the amount of effort you put in, and it makes all the difference. Keep up the good work!

Muharam is always so sweet and curious with his delightful smile, but I like Mukhtiar's reactions the best. He looks so intense, like he is trying to take in absolutely everything. @TRYBALS if you look closely, the opera lady does have a mic, a very tiny one, by her ear and cheek. If they enjoyed this, they might like to react to music by Thomas Bergensen, his production company is called 2 steps from hell. He writes epic music - ie powerful uplifting and emotional music - for film scores and such. Victory, Never Back Down, and Blackheart are very enjoyable. Also one called El Dorado which has a very unusual beginning but which turns into something totally different once it gets going.

I agree! I love them all, but Muharam is so incredibly precious to me. I could also sit at Ustad Rind's feet and listen to him and learn from him all day. I like how the old man is wise enough to instantly grasp the most impressive element of an orchestra. The synchronicity and sheer number of instruments is an amazing accomplishment and takes immense discipline.
As someone who composes music for media, I must say these reactions made me smile so much, once again proving that music is a universal language and that encoding the emotion in the form of a sound wave does transfer to the listener's heart and soul. Thank you so much for making these videos.
I love Morricone too. Whenever I think of a Western, his music comes to mind. Without his musical scores, they would not nearly be as good. He and John Williams wrote the majority of all the American movie scores that are as identifiable as the movies themselves, IMO.
@@LadyDragonsblood Or Howard Shore - he has been producing film scores since the 70s with over 80 to his credit... many you'll probably have seen and not even realised it was his music, other than the Lord of the Rings trilogy for which he's most known. Examples include: Silence of the Lambs, Mrs Doubtfire, Big (Tom Hanks), Scanners, The Fly, Seven, Gangs of New York, Hugo. Many are lesser known films, I suppose, but even Williams did music for a lot of low-budget films pre-2000s, as well as big titles. Given that Star Wars was never expected to be as popular as it became in 1977, I think there was a bit of luck on his side scoring for Lucas that helped his rise to fame and a noticable shift from TV series scores to movie scores.

It's really interesting; in the era of The Good the Bad and the Ugly, it was Italians who were doing the movies about the American West better than Americans were, because of content limitations of the era. At the same time, America was doing movies about Ancient Rome better than Italy ever did.

The film came out when I was a little girl. I remember the piece being played on the radio. I loved it then, and still do. It is wonderful seeing these folks from the other side of the world experiencing it as I did all those years ago.

Do you guys like the hobbit/lord of the rings? There's this guy, tim foust, a renown very good singer that covered the song "misty mountains" and did everything in the song with his voice, no instruments needed. It's a glorious piece, would looooooove to see their reaction to such a glorious piece of music.
It would be cool to show them the movie one day. Anything with Andre Rieu would be amazing. Modern audiences are familiar with “The Lonely Shepherd” from the Kill Bill movie but the performance with Andre Rieu ft. Gheorghe Zamfir (“The Master of the Pan Flute”) is outstanding.

I would love to see them react to their favorite Indian actors. Also favorite classical Indian songs, classical dancing…Pakistani also. I’m from California and Americans know zero about Indian and Pakistan music and culture so we can learn also, especially if we see a crossover actor or song we recognize. If you are going to keep going on this classical music theme, it would be great to show them Beethoven's ode to joy. There is one Japanese group that had 10000 people singing it. If I could be so bold to recommend another piece of classical music to react to, it would be the lord of the rings soundtrack played by an orchestra.

I can't be the only one who thinks Muharam would like listening to any track from the S&M album by Metallica. He loves metal and he feels the orchestra - it's a perfect match! And I'll confess, I really want to see his reaction. He just has a magic about him and it thrills me to no end to watch him feel music the way he does. It helps restore my spirit. 💚

The movie is a biographical drama about the artist Vincent van Gogh, it was painted in his style by a team of 125 painters and took 6 years to make. It's beautiful. I think everyone would really like it since you all appreciate art, but I don't know if it has been translated to their language
Since Metallica is mentioned, Nightwish would be a great follow-up, considering it's a blend of Symphonic and Metal. It would also be cool to see their reactions to Floor Jansen, or floorgasms as they are better known.

The toy being the Orchestra. If I had to chose one of the two I'd chose -Human. My 3 favorites are 1- the anti-war song For Whom The Bell Tolls, 2 - Choosing your own path with Wherever I May Roam, and lastly (probably most fitting for this channel) 3 - The inclusivity of Nothing Else Matters. The gradual introduction of different instruments, then combining into the orchestra is well thought out and shows great understanding of how best to bring this all together. All these people show great insight and understanding, and a willingess to be open-minded about a great many things. Music truly transcends every barrier, and is the greatest gift to humankind - all rivers lead to one ocean. Also metal and opera can make a great combination. I sugest Nightwish since their former lead singer Tarja had operatic training and it mixes with the brutal metal vocals of Marco in such amazing harmony. You should concider showing them the phantom of the opera LIVE from the "End Of an Era" tour. It's a masterpiece.

I love watching Mukhtiar and Muharam especially when there is music to react to. They get so involved and it is adorable! Poor Mukhtiar when he didn't realise at first that it was a dummy... bless his heart. I wonder how Parvita feels when she sees ladies singing and playing in the orchestra alongside the menfolk.
Your remark about Parvita is right on the money. She was also watching a woman in full charge and control of a world standard orchestra, a bittersweet moment, perhaps.
I think we don’t give Parvati enough credit . I think she knows more stuff ( or is open to it ) than we know .

@TRYBALS if you look closely, the opera lady does have a mic, a very tiny one, by her ear and cheek. If they enjoyed this, they might like to react to music by Thomas Bergensen, his production company is called 2 steps from hell. He writes epic music - ie powerful uplifting and emotional music - for film scores and such. Victory, Never Back Down, and Blackheart are very enjoyable. Also one called El Dorado which has a very unusual beginning but which turns into something totally different once it gets going.

I like how the old man is wise enough to instantly grasp the most impressive element of an orchestra. The synchronicity and sheer number of instruments is an amazing accomplishment and takes immense discipline.

As someone who composes music for media, I must say these reactions made me smile so much, once again proving that music is a universal language and that encoding the emotion in the form of a sound wave does transfer to the listener's heart and soul. Thank you so much for making these videos.
Ennio Morricone wrote the music the Trybals are listening to. He was one of the GREATEST modern composers of our time!
I love Morricone too. Whenever I think of a Western, his music comes to mind. Without his musical scores, they would not nearly be as good. He and John Williams wrote the majority of all the American movie scores that are as identifiable as the movies themselves, IMO.

@@LadyDragonsblood Or Howard Shore - he has been producing film scores since the 70s with over 80 to his credit... many you'll probably have seen and not even realised it was his music, other than the Lord of the Rings trilogy for which he's most known. Examples include: Silence of the Lambs, Mrs Doubtfire, Big (Tom Hanks), Scanners, The Fly, Seven, Gangs of New York, Hugo. Many are lesser known films, I suppose, but even Williams did music for a lot of low-budget films pre-2000s, as well as big titles. Given that Star Wars was never expected to be as popular as it became in 1977, I think there was a bit of luck on his side scoring for Lucas that helped his rise to fame and a noticable shift from TV series scores to movie scores.

It's really interesting; in the era of The Good the Bad and the Ugly, it was Italians who were doing the movies about the American West better than Americans were, because of content limitations of the era. At the same time, America was doing movies about Ancient Rome better than Italy ever did.

The film came out when I was a little girl. I remember the piece being played on the radio. I loved it then, and still do. It is wonderful seeing these folks from the other side of the world experiencing it as I did all those years ago.

This is the Danish National Symphony covering Ennio Morricone’s movie score. They also do Fist Full of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More and it’s great. I binged on these a year or so ago.

There's this guy, tim foust, a renown very good singer that covered the song "misty mountains" and did everything in the song with his voice, no instruments needed. It's a glorious piece, would looooooove to see their reaction to such a glorious piece of music.

It would be cool to show them the movie one day. Anything with Andre Rieu would be amazing. Modern audiences are familiar with “The Lonely Shepherd” from the Kill Bill movie but the performance with Andre Rieu ft. Gheorghe Zamfir (“The Master of the Pan Flute”) is outstanding.

I’m from California and Americans know zero about Indian and Pakistan music and culture so we can learn also, especially if we see a crossover actor or song we recognize. There have been Bollywood movie hits over here.

"The Ecstasy of Gold" (2nd) is one of my favorite pieces of film music. Ennio Morricone was a brilliant composer.
I can't be the only one who thinks Muharam would like listening to any track from the S&M album by Metallica. He loves metal and he feels the orchestra - it's a perfect match! And I'll confess, I really want to see his reaction. He just has a magic about him and it thrills me to no end to watch him feel music the way he does. It helps restore my spirit. 💚
Mr. Muharam would make a wonderful conductor! He's becomes so immersed in the music. Also, well done in the way you chose to introduce them to different components of what makes up this video so it was easier to comprehend what was going on.

Is it possible for them to watch the movie Loving Vincent (2017)? It's the first ever fully painted movie. The movie is a biographical drama about the artist Vincent van Gogh, it was painted in his style by a team of 125 painters and took 6 years to make. It's beautiful.

My personal favorite is No leaf clover but like always I would always put my personal preferences aside and look for something worth their time and experience.
@@TRYBALS From the release of the S&M album I have felt that both songs "No Leaf Clover" and "-Human" were somewhat simple and forcibly written just to show off their new toy. The toy being the Orchestra. If I had to chose one of the two I'd chose -Human. My 3 favorites are 1- the anti-war song For Whom The Bell Tolls, 2 - Choosing your own path with Wherever I May Roam, and lastly (probably most fitting for this channel) 3 - The inclusivity of Nothing Else Matters.

Greetings from New Zealand :) This channel is an amazing idea, and I really enjoy it :) The person who organises and explains the videos is very knowledgeable, and allows them to learn without over-explaining. The gradual introduction of different instruments, then combining into the orchestra is well thought out and shows great understanding of how best to bring this all together.
All these people show great insight and understanding, and a willingess to be open-minded about a great many things. Music truly transcends every barrier, and is the greatest gift to humankind - all rivers lead to one ocean. Everyone is so respectful and introspective. We need more of that in the USA. I love the gentleman who feels the music with his whole body because I do that too. Music is a universal experience.
Also metal and opera can make a great combination. I sugest Nightwish since their former lead singer Tarja had operatic training and it mixes with the brutal metal vocals of Marco in such amazing harmony. You should concider showing them the phantom of the opera LIVE from the "End Of an Era" tour. It's a masterpiece.
