the last song was a 70s song by VST & Company called AWITIN MO AT ISASAYAW KO (sing it and i will dance to it). their style of si ging resembkes that of the Beatles. i hope you check out the original because it's a very upbeat, disco tyoe song. most of its members are actors/comedians/TV hosts

We are just immersed into music from conception to childhood because of lullabies sung by our mothers and fathers when we are lulled to sleep and since then up to adulthood, we are surrounded by people whose love for music does not cease that's why, karaoke is there to accompany us everytime we express feelings through songs...

I love the reaction and how you guys looked confused when the singer on the bus sang 😂😂 That's a private bus usually rented out by companies during Team Building activities as the rides usually takes 4-6 hours or more~ public bus usually plays WishFM or plays movies or just local radio... anyway, music is everywhere~
Our culture encourages taking music (and other arts) like singing as a hobby, as stress relief or for professional career so we really don't discriminate whether a person is talented or not, just LET THEM SING~ anyway, everyone is happy except the person that wants to sleep haha
OOF I know those buses. True story -- I was in Alabama at a campout and someone was playing "Faithfully" by Journey. And of course, I walked over and started singing with them. I knew all the words to the song. They asked me if I sang it a lot in the Philippines (they know about Arnel Pineda). I told them I didn't. I just know all the words from hearing it all the time during my bus commutes.
The last song is 'Awitin Mo, Isasayaw Ko' (You Sing, I'll Dance). It was popularized by the VST and Co in the 1970's. I had to sing it in my head because this version is acoustic while the original is a fast song.

Efra, here are some words that are commonly used in the PH as an expression of annoyance is leche (yes as in milk in Spanish and pronounced the same, not sure if spelled the same). Yawa is a bisayan word meaning evil or bad... Punyeta (from spanish word puño) can mean damn it! Hope that helps in your quest for new words!

You will really like him - he’s become very famous and actually Steven Spielberg called him to produce his first movie about his Filipino American family who represents most regular Filipinos.

Efra here's another curse for you to learn. "PISTING YAWA" this one's bisaya (used predominantly in Visayas and Mindanao) "piste" which can be translated as pest/nasty/f*ck/damn and "yawa" which means devil. You can use each word alone and all in a phrase. HAHAHAHA
