we had a big family dinner on a restaurant that has a live acoustic band playing, and they where playing my uncles fave songs in the 80's so he went to the stage and ask the pianist to play some songs while he sings, and my uncle took the whole 1 hr of the band coz more and more people would request songs for him to sing, luckily the band still got they're pay and my uncle had fun so its like that here in the PH.

Philippines doesn't really follow standards when it comes to singing Its basically just "it sounds good and fun so Imma do it" type of singing And having music at full volume inside the house either on speaker or just phone is a norm in the Philippines that's also one of the reason why kids are really good at imitating singing styles because they have trained ears without even knowing it (there are still alot of tone deaf individuals in the Philippines tho which is also normal)
