I was watching this video with my mouth opened.
I have most of those tools in my shop. Now I need to get busy. I love this country and everything about it. I came here when I was a boy from ussr. I’m a proud US citizen.
I’ll be making solid US flag benches and wall pieces.
      Thank you for the motivation.

Only people who use metric think it's easier. The rest of us use any and all systems without any difficulty.

    • @Il_Bruno
      @Il_Bruno 4 года назад

Sean Hazelwood maybe you are unaware that NASA switched to metric system because inch and its fractions are too big for super high precision machining. This is the reason why it is a superior system, not just an easier one!

Fantastic workmanship. One thing I like is the fact you go a step further to label your work. That little piece of brass is a message that you stand behind your work, this is something that is rarely seen on bigger companies that apply only a printed label (often crooked) to their products.
Good job! Thank you for the videos.

Impressed by how you work with Padauk... when I try to do anything with Padouk it disintegrates into fine dust, clogs everything, including the drum sander... I have to clean the belt practically after every pass to prevent tightly impacted dust from leaving deep gauge marks. And the dust gets EVERYWHERE. Clearly the equipment you have has fantastic dust management and collection.

+James I'm that's why who ever ordered requested 3. The top finished piece looks like it is in a decorative frame or something to allow it to be hung up and the other two on the bottom are probably for food prep purposes. One of them might even be a gift, idk, I'm just speculating. But, regardless of how you use them, they are absolutely a work of art...PERFECTION!!!

A great piece of work. I've built a lot of cutting boards and I always ask later on if they liked it or not, problems, needs. etc. Almost all my customers and family have removed the rubber legs for the board, especially if it has hand grabs cut into the ends. They prefer setting the board down on the counter and with the legs they tell me it's a pain to wash in the sink. So now I don't waste time or money for the rubber feet. You may want to skip that part and offer it as an upgrade or make a limited number without rubber feet. Just a suggestion. I wish I had a CNC machine. Again, beautiful work and your shop is awesome.

This is awesome. He could have stenciled the stars out and plunged them with a routing saw also.

Every set of this is super satisfying to watch. Not only good craftsmanship but excellent video editing and camera angles.
What clamps did you use? They look super easy to use

Technically you can do the stars if you have the dremel with the proper attachments and bits, just longer more tedious work, very nice, now to find something that I can make in less than a year lol.

Finally you are placing your tag with the same precision you are making the boards. ;-)

Yes, I use special template. The tags are at the same place at all boards.
