Surely there's an electronic "paper trail" when money gets transferred from account A to account B... Who opens banks accounts for a SCAM like this? (My logic tells me that it can only be bank employees in cahoots with the scammers!)
I get what you are saying, but it’s not that simple. I can receive international payments with a stripe account I opened in the UK, it takes instant payments from anywhere around the world. I can make any website pay money directly into that account. Now if you invested on a website that no longer exists after 15 days how are are you going to trace it back to that account in the UK… and this is just an example. Scammers been doing this for years and people have lost billions collectively. My point is it’s not that straight forward
