You missed the part where Kokushibo was almost defeated by a 80 Year old Yoriichi even after becoming a demon... That was the reason why he was so frustrated to split his dead body apart in two.
another thing too is that most demons forget the memories of their past life, yet Kokushibo could not forget his brother, the impact Yoriichi left on Kokushibo's life could not be forgotten.
Their Powers: Upper Moon 1 Kokushibo - He has Moon Breathing, which is the second strongest Breathing Style only behind Sun Breathing, and his Blood Demon Art allows him to shoot many moon-shaped blades every time he swings his sword. The blades constantly change in size and the direction where they go is random so it's impossible to predict his attacks. He can also create blades from his flesh so he can make his sword bigger or change its shape. He can also grow blades from his body and shoot the moon-shaped blades i mentioned earlier everywhere in every direction without even swinging a sword. Basically, when he performs his Breathing techniques, he can add the blades to them so not only will you have to defend yourself from the techniqe, but also from the blades he shoots out which are always random so they can't be predicted, and sometimes can be huge. Plus he can make his sword bigger to increase his reach whenever he wants Upper Moon 2 Douma - He can create pretty much anything he wants with Ice, like giant Ice statues, Ice clones, etc. One of his troublesome powers is creating Ice Mist which makes it impossible to breathe because it's so cold that it will shred your lungs and it freezes anything it touches so it's very hard for swordsmen to fight him. And due to his ability to create 5 clones that can use all of his abilities, he can use all his powers 6 times at once. So just imagine giant spikes falling from the sky, ice projectiles shooting at you, ice vines trying to strangle you, a huge ice statue punching you, ice mist instantly freezing you to death upon contact, ice mist making it impossible to breathe, Douma himself and his clones physically attacking you, and more all at the same time Upper Moon 3 Akaza - He has a Compass that senses Battle Spirit which allows him to know what move the person will make before it even happens, and he can use special attacks by punching the air and creating different types of powerful shockwaves. He can for example create a huge long-range barrage of blasts or a close-range barrage of blasts right in front of the enemy; concentrate energy into one powerful hit; or constantly keep releasing hundreds of different shockwaves in every direction. He's also a complete genius in battle. He has basically perfect skill in combat, and he even has such an incredible battle instinct that it's to the point where just from instinct alone he can predict what move his enemy will make, and it's also almost as if his fists and your vital points are connected like magnets. And when combining that instinct with his Compass he can easily adapt to even those much faster and more skilled than him, even if there's multiple of them Upper Moon 4 Hantengu - this one is very long He can create 5 clones of himself and they all have a different power, their powers are: --Body of a bird with claws sharper than diamond, and a supersonic scream that damages your entire body from the inside. And of course badly damages your ears --Lightning creation and manipulation, basically just shooting you with lightning --Skill in combat and a spear that can change size however he wants, for example extend in the middle of fighting --Wind creation and manipulation, basically just shooting you with wind attacks, and they are powerful enough to instantly destroy a building or blow away even a Hashira kilometers away --And a clone that dosen't have any specific power, it's just there in order to help him hide and trick his enemies. It looks just like him and dosen't have any special power, only becoming larger or smaller. But since it looks just like him, it allows his original body to run away somewhere and hide. The fact that he can become smaller like Nezuko (but he can become way smaller than her, smaller than the human eye can see) makes it easier to hide. He is also a complete master at hiding his presence
He can also combine the 4 clones with powers into one clone, and that clone has all the powers of the different clones, and his own unique power of creating and manipulating wood. All the abilities of the other clones also get way stronger when he uses them. For example, when he uses the supersonic scream, it can completely destroy your body with just a single hit, instead of just damaging it. All of the abilities also now how a waaay bigger range because he uses them by creating 4 giant wooden dragons that shoot out the abilities from their mouths. So one dragon spits lightning, one uses the scream but with a way bigger range since the dragons are massive, and one shoots out wind, but a lot more of the wind. And the spear extending power allows one of the dragons to make more smaller dragons from its mouth and extend them. He can also create as much wood as he wants, so apart from the 4 dragons with powers he can make as many of the same massive dragons as he wants just without the powers. Or make anything else he wants from wood. He can also use the special powers from his body not just his dragons. There's also no problem in using multiple powers at once, so he can attack you with wooden dragons, shoot you with lightning and wind, and use a supersonic scream at you all at the sime time while his real body is hiding somewhere. And while it's protected by one more clone, the one without special powers The more emotion he is feeling, like for example fear from his real body being attacked, the stronger the clones get, so on top of having a hard time finding his body, you have so many powers attacking you, and when you get close to finally getting the real body the clones get even stronger Upper Moon 4 Nakime - she can manipulate an infinite fortress however she wants; like create rooms, move the rooms, create portals etc. The size of the fortress is infinite and she can control it however she wants. It's like her own dimension in which she has full control. If you fight her then an example of what can happen is that you're trying to attack her and then a wall falls on your head from the sky. Or even an entire room falls on your head. Or 2 walls appear and try to squash you from both sides. Or a portal appears in front of you randomly. Or you just randomly appear in a different location Upper Moon 5 Gyokko - he has many fish-related powers which he releases from his vases, like: -summoning demonic creatures that all have different abilities (for example a lot of big octopus tentacles or a bunch of monstrous fish) -shooting poisoned needles -creating and manipulating water; for example to make a very durable water bubble which can trap and drown even a Hashira due to how hard it is to break He creates his vases from nothing, seemingly in any nearby place he wants, and once he gets inside a vase he can teleport to any other vase he has. That makes him very hard to hit, since getting inside a vase that he already has half of his body inside of takes almost zero time. You need to strike him before he's able to lower his head into the vase and teleport elsewhere. He can also transform to make his skin harder than diamond and become way faster. After he transforms, everything that he punches turns into fish, and he can shoot fish out of his fists, and when you cut those fish they release poison in the form of gas Upper Moon 6 Gyutaro - he can create sickles from his blood, and he can control them to attack his opponent from all sides or to unleash huge attacks like a dome of slashes, a spiral of slashes or an explosion of huge slashes going in every direction. And of course he can create as many as he wants, although for bigger attacks he needs some time to prepare them. He can also create poison from his blood, which he always puts on his sickles. The poison is very strong so just a single scratch form his sickle will kill anyone who dosen't have special poison resistance, and even those people will die, it will just take a longer time. Normal people die nearly instantly, while poison-resistant people can fight for a bit. He is very skilled in combat, so it's hard to avoid getting hit for the entire fight, especially since he also attacks you from multiple directions with Flying Blood Sickles, and since some of his attacks cover a wide area Upper Moon 6 Daki - she can create and manipulate belts. The belts are hard to cut and as sharp as blades, and they have a very long reach. She can freely create as much as she wants, so you will have to face tens of different cloth tentacles coming at you from everywhere, all of which are really flexible and hard to cut while also being very sharp. She can also turn her body into that cloth, which can save her from getting her head cut off as the belts are very hard to cut, so turning her neck into a belt is a good way of protection. Daki can also hide people inside of those belts, and since she can transform her body into it, she can store people inside of her body The only way to kill Gyutaro and Daki is to cut both of their heads off at the same time, if you decapitate just one of them they won't die, and they'll be able to just put their head back on Gyutaro can also detach his core from his body and stick it into Daki to make her stronger, in that state he can even control her body when he wants to, which is useful since he's much more skilled than her Upper Moon 6 Kaigaku - He can use Thunder Breathing (all Forms except the First Form that Zenitsu uses) and his Blood Demon Art allows him to create black electricity and combine it with his attacks. So while having to defend from his Breathing techniques, you will also have to defend yourself from the black lightning which he's shooting at you, and which he uses to make his Breathing Forms stronger. Apart from damaging you, the black electricity burns flesh, and if it gets inside your wound, it will start spreading throughout your entire body, destroying it from the inside
There is a way to counter Akaza's compase tho 1.U gotta be super emotionless af when fighting him,like Douma 2.U need the See-through world ability,like what Kokushibo has
As someone who doesn’t read the manga, but watch only the anime, this is very intense and interesting. Can’t wait to see all the fight scenes when they fully animate the whole manga.
Absolutely, it´s sad though that we won´t get EVERYTHING that was in the manga. I actually wish they did a 300-500 episode anime out of this, maybe not as long as One Piece, cause that´s WAY too long, but 500 episodes would be good.

I now have this far-out ideal for him as a demon slayer. Like how Zoro from One Piece has a “No sword style” I would think as a Demon Slayer he says it like “Breathe of the None, Form 1: Air Cannon”. With a mixture of Might Guy from Naruto is with his high-class Taijutsu, but every time to finish the demon off he cuts off its head simply with nothing extra. just like the Breathless user with a gun.

Love the demons in Demon Slayer. You realize that some of them are not truly bad people but rather a result of their troubled upbringings. Daki and Gyutaro, and Akaza come to mind on truly heartbreaking characters.
Kokushibo was already born with the better looks than Yoriichi, and his skills are not bad either. However he prefers to focus on what he lacks than what he possesses. It is jealousy that caused his life to be miserable.

There’s something he missed in Kokushibo’s fight against Yoriichi. Yoriichi was able to cut Kokushibo’s neck before the upper moon could react, but was not able to penetrate anything. After that Yoriichi died of old age in the middle of the fight and then got slashed in half.
I love Kokushibo and how he's written, I love my little brother with all my heart but it must've been a hard mental battle always being outclassed by your younger sibling. Kokushibo and Akaza are probably the most relatable characters in the verse imo
I feel like Kokuahibo's story definitely hits a lot harder if you're an older or younger sibling. I'm the oldest child so I can sort of see Kokushibo's view point. It really is tragic though that he never realised how much Yoruichi loved him, even in his 80's he still kept that flute his brother gave him. Definitely my favourite upper moon.
Akaza said its been 50 years since he saw someone as strong as Giyuu. That's insane considering the fact that Giyuu didn't even pass the final selection. Just a speculation, but if you think about it, since Sabito was much stronger than Giyuu and would've obviously gotten stronger, Sabito might've become the strongest water hashira, but we'll never know cuz he was killed off
but it kinda concur how sabito died in final selection to that monster because he cant cut into its hide but tanjiro could ... so how is giyu weaker than sabito. I was thinking about this for a while lol

Extra fun facts- most of his attacks are named after fireworks as he promised his fiance to watch them someday together. Also, akaza's clothing style and attack style, for eg akaza's hair color and half jacket shirt color is the same color as his late fiance's kimono. Plus, his compass needle is shaped as a snowflake since koyuki(his fiance's name translates to snow/snowflake in kanji) and she wore snowflake hairpins as well. Also in martial arts, one has to respect their opponents which akaza does more than enough

Muzan is 100% afraid of seeing those earrings. So he sends his demons first, JUST to be sure. And just so happens that every demon that comes into contact with Tanjiro fails to kill him. He's probably not sure why that's the case.
I really like the fight of Douma vs Kanao, because they both are/were emotionless beings. Kanao trash-talking him was almost as if she was really insulting her past emotionless-self to confront and dispel her own weakness. Also, Zenitsu vs Kaigaku was a fight of 2 cowards, however Zenitsu was the one who learned to overcome his cowardice and far surpassed his disciple.
When he showed that he not only created his own breathing tech but also was able to confront Kaigaku while awake It made me respect Zenitsu 100x more. He may have been a coward but his pure respect and love for his master was enough to overcome any fear he had inside him.
@@rexss90 then again it is important to note that this wasnt just a random Demon who he'd probably be scared of. This was a HUMAN who he knew, who was basically a sibling-student. So in that sense when he faced him, he just saw him as a cowardly human who "sank so low" to become a demon, and his anger took over any possible fear.

He could have easily been scared still, or made any kind of cowardly move after seeing that he was 100% an upper rank demon, and his master dying could have brought him down as well. Instead, it enraged him. Just like Tanjiro when he fights demons that hate the weak, Zenitsu went all out. Ending spoilers just in case: We also have to remember he helped defeat Muzan while awake. I think his master dying and someone who he hated, but also respected, becoming a demon awoken something in Zenitsu that would have lead to him being a Hashira if Muzan hadn't been defeated that night.

You forgot to give emphasis to the fact that Kokushibo was never the winner nor even a match for Yorichi even after he became a demon, in that fight, Yorichi was about to deliver the final blow to kill him, but old age got the better of him, passing away while standing up right, while Kokushibo was fearing that he was about to die in that final attack not knowing Yorichi was already dead. Angered by the fact that he couldn't best his brother even after becoming a powerful demon, he slashes Yorichi's already dead body in half out of spite. Then he found out that Yorichi kept the flutethat he has given him during the time they were still young, and for a moment feeling sadness for the passing of his brother. That's how it went. Kokushibo was no match for Yorichi.
This was the only Thing that had triggered me in the Video but I didnt wanted to write it down cause it was much too long🤣 But its so crazy how strong yorichi was, he was even much much stronger than muzan kibutsuji and the demon slayers needed 5 pillars and zenitsu, inosuke, kanao, and tanjirou, who was as strong as a pillar, and still only two pillars survived. The others were killed by muzan. They still couldnt kill him because he put all his blood into tanjirou and tanjirou conquered the Sun in just a few seconds. This shows how powerful tanjirou really were. And only then tanjirou fully killed muzan in his mind. And muzan was still no Match for yorichi. Crazy
Yorichi was total Chad. Guy was 80 years old. His whole body is losing function. And he almost killed the second strongest demon of all time without even breaking a sweat. What a Chad. Then he goes on and Made a domino effect by teaching some peoples about sun breathing and that simple act is what killed muzan. Literall Chad.
I remember reading Akaza's backstory years ago and actually made me cry. Kind of conflicted when the movie dropped. Honestly when Infinity Mansion gets animated its going to be damn awesome but heart wrenching. All the hashira deaths plus some of the demon backstories
Enmu's backstory was actually revealed in the wiki: When Enmu was a human being, he had a tendency since childhood not to be able to distinguish the difference between dreams and reality, this caused many problems for the people around him. As an adult, even though he was not a doctor, he misused things like hypnotic therapies, as well as convincing patients who did not have long to live that they had recovered their health. Even though after a while they realized that it was all a lie, he kept doing this horrible scam over and over again. One night, Muzan wanted to completely devour Enmu. Enmu's guts were eaten by Muzan and he was not supposed to turn into a demon at first, but because he felt no pain from the fatal wound, he envied and praised Muzan. With those last words, his heart and brain stopped working, so Muzan turned him into a demon. Enmu knew that he had been converted due to Muzan's whim and would only remember him in passing, so Enmu did his best to ascend to the rank of Lower Rank One.
Doma's death was pretty much predictable his naive arrogance was his downfall. Upon me learning of Shinobu's poisonous abilities I thought "I wonder if she subjects herself to these same poisons to fortify her immune system like how a beekeeper and herpetologist do." Doma lost the battle against Shinobu before it even started *It was then at that moment Doma knew he had f***ed up.* lol
Shinobu sacrificing herself was so sad though but she pavved the way for her little sis and avenged her big sis. The Infinity Castle arc is going to be so damn awesome but heart wrenching when animated.

I love how Yushiro really adds insult to injury in Kaigaku's final seconds of life by reinforcing the fact that he was a failure and he''ll die all alone. Yushirou is savage lmao.
Kyogai, even as a demon, refused to eat humans. Because he took so much time and affection towards writing a novel he dearly cherished. But when it was shamed, and the man told him, “It’s trash, it makes no sense. Focus on something simpler, like drums,” Kyogai saw as he dropped his work and stepped on it. This causes him to snap and kill him.
Instead of muzan killing the lower moons,he could have upgraded them like enmu,or give them a ton of his blood until they reach their maximum power and re- arrange their positions according to their strengths
They have to deserve it he just can’t give out his blood to any demon like that. It can also cause an overload inside a demons body if they can’t handle the extra blood. Which is why they have to get stronger on their own by killing hashira which is what they constantly fail to do. The upper ranks are strong because of who they are
The lower moons were weak, though Kyogai received blood and ate many humans, he reached his limit, and if Muzan gave hin more blood he could've have died, same for the other Lower moons, they are weak phycially and have less experience. Plus if the Lower moons weren't finished with quickly, it would have taken so long to see the Upper ranks.

I just want to note something. Kokoshibu didn't kill yoriichui. What happened was that yoriichui slashed kokoshibu giving him a severe wound and he was about to finish him but he died from exhaustion and old age after that kokoshibu sliced him

No Daki was hated because of her hair and eyes. It’s literally in the demon slayer wiki and other sources. Their mother hated daki literally because of her hair being white and eyes being colorful. Cause her mother to be jealous of her own daughter and made her abusive. Idk how you got 30 likes on false information.

Gyuutaro stopped her however and threatened her so she wouldn’t ever try to hurt Daki again.
So what if she was favored due to her beauty? She was still burned alive to the point of near-death for resisting the lewd advances of some random samurai. So both of them were sad, she only had her brother and he only had her.
I still remember Gyutaro's words when he saw Ume/Daki's burnt body on the ground: "How can you collect from me when you didn't even gave me anything from the start?!?!" Those words always sends shivers down my spine, and almost makes me cry.

They weren't really cocky except gyokko and gyutaro and daki also extension doma but he has no emotions and was worshiped his whole life akaza and kokushibo committed suicide basically and UM4 got defeated

You forgot the part where Genya ate a piece of Kokushibo's sword and hair to give him the ability to fight. He aided in the fight with the 3 hashira by using his blood demon art.
Good video, but you forgot to add the previous two lower two moons: Hairo and Ubume. Both play a significant role in the story in creating three future Hashira.

In the manga, there is a conversation between Shinobu ( the insect hashira) and Kanao , before their encounter with Doma ( Upper Moon 2), Shinobu said to Kanao : " an Upper Moon is as strong as three pillars /hashiras at minimum" so on average, that's how strong upper moons demon are.
i think it only depends on upper moon 2- and 1 . i mean both tanjiro and giyu were able to beat upper moon 3 , not to mention uppermoon 5 legit got soloed .
@@zenox2924 not exactly defeated lol. Akaza clearly killed himself because of the memories. Manga said that if you cut his head and still not died it means only sunlight can kill it. Uppermoon got soloed because muichiro is like the 3rd strongest pillar. Also, don't forget that every uppermoon numbers has a huge power gap.

Forgot to mention hantengu's forms fusing and needing Mitsuri Kanroji's assistance. All the while his real form's blood demon art required the combined strength of a now-healed Genya, as well as Nezuko and Tanjiro to win. Also dodged explaining how Doma slaughtered Inosuke's mother, something who detected his intent at the last minute, only having time to throwing Inosuke away which Doma witnessed. I might've missed this part, but didn't hear you mention Akaza's defeat by literally pummeling himself until ~50% of his body was gone.
If you commented about how Kokushibo literally needed 3 hashira + Genya to literally put their lives on the line to win, it'd then be more about their fight with him rather than backstory regarding him. Dude needed 2 prodigy hashira (Gyomei and Muichiro, the former being the strongest), and Sanemi (the second strongest, while using his marechi), and Blood Art-user Genya to lose, killing 2 in the process.
you dont need to forgive him in order to appriciate his story. No one is perfect, Akaza has a side that everyone hates, but also a side that many feel sorry for, you just need to see them seperately to understand him as a whole.
Kokushibo is probably the most anime-villain thing an anime villain can be, plot twist that we can't comprehend, the opposite of the strongest supporting protagonist, have a true ambition to be strong and also regret his choice

So the Tongue and Fat demon weren't there to assist the Drum demon, they just wanted the kids for themselves. Did anyone else know that? Because I've seen Season 1, 2 times over and never guessed that could have been the case.
Haganezuka didn't even twitch from the Upper 5's attack; he wasn't even disturbed by the fact that it was an Upper rank demon. Imagine this guy becoming a demon hunter

I’m a little bummed out that Tanjiro’s ability to empathize was never super capitalized on. It’s the whole reason why Nezuko was able to fight off her demonic impulses, how he was able to convince the others to spare her and have faith in his goal, I mean DEMONS cried because of him, there was a lot of setup imo in painting the demons as sympathetic.
I still Remember Akaza just giving up not because he was defeated, he just wanted to die as he remembers parts of his memory during the battle against Giyu and Tanjirou.

You missed the part where Kokushibo was almost defeated by a 80 Year old Yoriichi even after becoming a demon... That was the reason why he was so frustrated to split his dead body apart in two.

another thing too is that most demons forget the memories of their past life, yet Kokushibo could not forget his brother, the impact Yoriichi left on Kokushibo's life could not be forgotten.
Their Powers:
Upper Moon 1 Kokushibo - He has Moon Breathing, which is the second strongest Breathing Style only behind Sun Breathing, and his Blood Demon Art allows him to shoot many moon-shaped blades every time he swings his sword. The blades constantly change in size and the direction where they go is random so it's impossible to predict his attacks. He can also create blades from his flesh so he can make his sword bigger or change its shape. He can also grow blades from his body and shoot the moon-shaped blades i mentioned earlier everywhere in every direction without even swinging a sword.
Basically, when he performs his Breathing techniques, he can add the blades to them so not only will you have to defend yourself from the techniqe, but also from the blades he shoots out which are always random so they can't be predicted, and sometimes can be huge. Plus he can make his sword bigger to increase his reach whenever he wants
Upper Moon 2 Douma - He can create pretty much anything he wants with Ice, like giant Ice statues, Ice clones, etc.
One of his troublesome powers is creating Ice Mist which makes it impossible to breathe because it's so cold that it will shred your lungs and it freezes anything it touches so it's very hard for swordsmen to fight him. And due to his ability to create 5 clones that can use all of his abilities, he can use all his powers 6 times at once. So just imagine giant spikes falling from the sky, ice projectiles shooting at you, ice vines trying to strangle you, a huge ice statue punching you, ice mist instantly freezing you to death upon contact, ice mist making it impossible to breathe, Douma himself and his clones physically attacking you, and more all at the same time
Upper Moon 3 Akaza - He has a Compass that senses Battle Spirit which allows him to know what move the person will make before it even happens, and he can use special attacks by punching the air and creating different types of powerful shockwaves. He can for example create a huge long-range barrage of blasts or a close-range barrage of blasts right in front of the enemy; concentrate energy into one powerful hit; or constantly keep releasing hundreds of different shockwaves in every direction. He's also a complete genius in battle. He has basically perfect skill in combat, and he even has such an incredible battle instinct that it's to the point where just from instinct alone he can predict what move his enemy will make, and it's also almost as if his fists and your vital points are connected like magnets. And when combining that instinct with his Compass he can easily adapt to even those much faster and more skilled than him, even if there's multiple of them
Upper Moon 4 Hantengu - this one is very long
He can create 5 clones of himself and they all have a different power, their powers are:
--Body of a bird with claws sharper than diamond, and a supersonic scream that damages your entire body from the inside. And of course badly damages your ears
--Lightning creation and manipulation, basically just shooting you with lightning
--Skill in combat and a spear that can change size however he wants, for example extend in the middle of fighting
--Wind creation and manipulation, basically just shooting you with wind attacks, and they are powerful enough to instantly destroy a building or blow away even a Hashira kilometers away
--And a clone that dosen't have any specific power, it's just there in order to help him hide and trick his enemies. It looks just like him and dosen't have any special power, only becoming larger or smaller. But since it looks just like him, it allows his original body to run away somewhere and hide. The fact that he can become smaller like Nezuko (but he can become way smaller than her, smaller than the human eye can see) makes it easier to hide. He is also a complete master at hiding his presence
He can also combine the 4 clones with powers into one clone, and that clone has all the powers of the different clones, and his own unique power of creating and manipulating wood. All the abilities of the other clones also get way stronger when he uses them. For example, when he uses the supersonic scream, it can completely destroy your body with just a single hit, instead of just damaging it. All of the abilities also now how a waaay bigger range because he uses them by creating 4 giant wooden dragons that shoot out the abilities from their mouths. So one dragon spits lightning, one uses the scream but with a way bigger range since the dragons are massive, and one shoots out wind, but a lot more of the wind. And the spear extending power allows one of the dragons to make more smaller dragons from its mouth and extend them.
He can also create as much wood as he wants, so apart from the 4 dragons with powers he can make as many of the same massive dragons as he wants just without the powers. Or make anything else he wants from wood.
He can also use the special powers from his body not just his dragons.
There's also no problem in using multiple powers at once, so he can attack you with wooden dragons, shoot you with lightning and wind, and use a supersonic scream at you all at the sime time while his real body is hiding somewhere. And while it's protected by one more clone, the one without special powers
The more emotion he is feeling, like for example fear from his real body being attacked, the stronger the clones get, so on top of having a hard time finding his body, you have so many powers attacking you, and when you get close to finally getting the real body the clones get even stronger
Upper Moon 4 Nakime - she can manipulate an infinite fortress however she wants; like create rooms, move the rooms, create portals etc. The size of the fortress is infinite and she can control it however she wants. It's like her own dimension in which she has full control.
If you fight her then an example of what can happen is that you're trying to attack her and then a wall falls on your head from the sky. Or even an entire room falls on your head. Or 2 walls appear and try to squash you from both sides. Or a portal appears in front of you randomly. Or you just randomly appear in a different location
Upper Moon 5 Gyokko - he has many fish-related powers which he releases from his vases, like:
-summoning demonic creatures that all have different abilities (for example a lot of big octopus tentacles or a bunch of monstrous fish)
-shooting poisoned needles
-creating and manipulating water; for example to make a very durable water bubble which can trap and drown even a Hashira due to how hard it is to break
He creates his vases from nothing, seemingly in any nearby place he wants, and once he gets inside a vase he can teleport to any other vase he has. That makes him very hard to hit, since getting inside a vase that he already has half of his body inside of takes almost zero time. You need to strike him before he's able to lower his head into the vase and teleport elsewhere.
He can also transform to make his skin harder than diamond and become way faster. After he transforms, everything that he punches turns into fish, and he can shoot fish out of his fists, and when you cut those fish they release poison in the form of gas
Upper Moon 6 Gyutaro - he can create sickles from his blood, and he can control them to attack his opponent from all sides or to unleash huge attacks like a dome of slashes, a spiral of slashes or an explosion of huge slashes going in every direction. And of course he can create as many as he wants, although for bigger attacks he needs some time to prepare them. He can also create poison from his blood, which he always puts on his sickles. The poison is very strong so just a single scratch form his sickle will kill anyone who dosen't have special poison resistance, and even those people will die, it will just take a longer time. Normal people die nearly instantly, while poison-resistant people can fight for a bit. He is very skilled in combat, so it's hard to avoid getting hit for the entire fight, especially since he also attacks you from multiple directions with Flying Blood Sickles, and since some of his attacks cover a wide area
Upper Moon 6 Daki - she can create and manipulate belts. The belts are hard to cut and as sharp as blades, and they have a very long reach. She can freely create as much as she wants, so you will have to face tens of different cloth tentacles coming at you from everywhere, all of which are really flexible and hard to cut while also being very sharp. She can also turn her body into that cloth, which can save her from getting her head cut off as the belts are very hard to cut, so turning her neck into a belt is a good way of protection. Daki can also hide people inside of those belts, and since she can transform her body into it, she can store people inside of her body
The only way to kill Gyutaro and Daki is to cut both of their heads off at the same time, if you decapitate just one of them they won't die, and they'll be able to just put their head back on
Gyutaro can also detach his core from his body and stick it into Daki to make her stronger, in that state he can even control her body when he wants to, which is useful since he's much more skilled than her
Upper Moon 6 Kaigaku - He can use Thunder Breathing (all Forms except the First Form that Zenitsu uses) and his Blood Demon Art allows him to create black electricity and combine it with his attacks. So while having to defend from his Breathing techniques, you will also have to defend yourself from the black lightning which he's shooting at you, and which he uses to make his Breathing Forms stronger. Apart from damaging you, the black electricity burns flesh, and if it gets inside your wound, it will start spreading throughout your entire body, destroying it from the inside

Absolutely, it´s sad though that we won´t get EVERYTHING that was in the manga. I actually wish they did a 300-500 episode anime out of this, maybe not as long as One Piece, cause that´s WAY too long, but 500 episodes would be good.

I now have this far-out ideal for him as a demon slayer. Like how Zoro from One Piece has a “No sword style” I would think as a Demon Slayer he says it like “Breathe of the None, Form 1: Air Cannon”. With a mixture of Might Guy from Naruto is with his high-class Taijutsu, but every time to finish the demon off he cuts off its head simply with nothing extra. just like the Breathless user with a gun.

There’s something he missed in Kokushibo’s fight against Yoriichi. Yoriichi was able to cut Kokushibo’s neck before the upper moon could react, but was not able to penetrate anything. After that Yoriichi died of old age in the middle of the fight and then got slashed in half.

I love Kokushibo and how he's written, I love my little brother with all my heart but it must've been a hard mental battle always being outclassed by your younger sibling. Kokushibo and Akaza are probably the most relatable characters in the verse imo
I feel like Kokuahibo's story definitely hits a lot harder if you're an older or younger sibling. I'm the oldest child so I can sort of see Kokushibo's view point. It really is tragic though that he never realised how much Yoruichi loved him, even in his 80's he still kept that flute his brother gave him. Definitely my favourite upper moon.

Akaza said its been 50 years since he saw someone as strong as Giyuu. That's insane considering the fact that Giyuu didn't even pass the final selection. Just a speculation, but if you think about it, since Sabito was much stronger than Giyuu and would've obviously gotten stronger, Sabito might've become the strongest water hashira, but we'll never know cuz he was killed off

Extra fun facts- most of his attacks are named after fireworks as he promised his fiance to watch them someday together. Also, akaza's clothing style and attack style, for eg akaza's hair color and half jacket shirt color is the same color as his late fiance's kimono. Plus, his compass needle is shaped as a snowflake since koyuki(his fiance's name translates to snow/snowflake in kanji) and she wore snowflake hairpins as well. Also in martial arts, one has to respect their opponents which akaza does more than enough

Muzan is 100% afraid of seeing those earrings. So he sends his demons first, JUST to be sure. And just so happens that every demon that comes into contact with Tanjiro fails to kill him. He's probably not sure why that's the case.

I really like the fight of Douma vs Kanao, because they both are/were emotionless beings. Kanao trash-talking him was almost as if she was really insulting her past emotionless-self to confront and dispel her own weakness. Also, Zenitsu vs Kaigaku was a fight of 2 cowards, however Zenitsu was the one who learned to overcome his cowardice and far surpassed his disciple.
When he showed that he not only created his own breathing tech but also was able to confront Kaigaku while awake It made me respect Zenitsu 100x more. He may have been a coward but his pure respect and love for his master was enough to overcome any fear he had inside him.
@@rexss90 then again it is important to note that this wasnt just a random Demon who he'd probably be scared of. This was a HUMAN who he knew, who was basically a sibling-student. So in that sense when he faced him, he just saw him as a cowardly human who "sank so low" to become a demon, and his anger took over any possible fear.

He could have easily been scared still, or made any kind of cowardly move after seeing that he was 100% an upper rank demon, and his master dying could have brought him down as well. Instead, it enraged him. Just like Tanjiro when he fights demons that hate the weak, Zenitsu went all out.
Ending spoilers just in case:
We also have to remember he helped defeat Muzan while awake. I think his master dying and someone who he hated, but also respected, becoming a demon awoken something in Zenitsu that would have lead to him being a Hashira if Muzan hadn't been defeated that night.

You forgot to give emphasis to the fact that Kokushibo was never the winner nor even a match for Yorichi even after he became a demon, in that fight, Yorichi was about to deliver the final blow to kill him, but old age got the better of him, passing away while standing up right, while Kokushibo was fearing that he was about to die in that final attack not knowing Yorichi was already dead. Angered by the fact that he couldn't best his brother even after becoming a powerful demon, he slashes Yorichi's already dead body in half out of spite. Then he found out that Yorichi kept the flutethat he has given him during the time they were still young, and for a moment feeling sadness for the passing of his brother.
That's how it went. Kokushibo was no match for Yorichi.

But its so crazy how strong yorichi was, he was even much much stronger than muzan kibutsuji and the demon slayers needed 5 pillars and zenitsu, inosuke, kanao, and tanjirou, who was as strong as a pillar, and still only two pillars survived. The others were killed by muzan. They still couldnt kill him because he put all his blood into tanjirou and tanjirou conquered the Sun in just a few seconds. This shows how powerful tanjirou really were. And only then tanjirou fully killed muzan in his mind. And muzan was still no Match for yorichi. Crazy
Yorichi was total Chad.
Guy was 80 years old. His whole body is losing function. And he almost killed the second strongest demon of all time without even breaking a sweat. What a Chad. Then he goes on and Made a domino effect by teaching some peoples about sun breathing and that simple act is what killed muzan. Literall Chad.
I remember reading Akaza's backstory years ago and actually made me cry. Kind of conflicted when the movie dropped. Honestly when Infinity Mansion gets animated its going to be damn awesome but heart wrenching. All the hashira deaths plus some of the demon backstories

Enmu's backstory was actually revealed in the wiki:
When Enmu was a human being, he had a tendency since childhood not to be able to distinguish the difference between dreams and reality, this caused many problems for the people around him. As an adult, even though he was not a doctor, he misused things like hypnotic therapies, as well as convincing patients who did not have long to live that they had recovered their health. Even though after a while they realized that it was all a lie, he kept doing this horrible scam over and over again.
One night, Muzan wanted to completely devour Enmu. Enmu's guts were eaten by Muzan and he was not supposed to turn into a demon at first, but because he felt no pain from the fatal wound, he envied and praised Muzan. With those last words, his heart and brain stopped working, so Muzan turned him into a demon. Enmu knew that he had been converted due to Muzan's whim and would only remember him in passing, so Enmu did his best to ascend to the rank of Lower Rank One.
Love how a lot of the abilities for the demons’ are really cool and serious, and then there is that one guys that was just *fish*

Doma's death was pretty much predictable his naive arrogance was his downfall. Upon me learning of Shinobu's poisonous abilities I thought "I wonder if she subjects herself to these same poisons to fortify her immune system like how a beekeeper and herpetologist do." Doma lost the battle against Shinobu before it even started *It was then at that moment Doma knew he had f***ed up.* lol
Shinobu sacrificing herself was so sad though but she pavved the way for her little sis and avenged her big sis. The Infinity Castle arc is going to be so damn awesome but heart wrenching when animated.

Instead of muzan killing the lower moons,he could have upgraded them like enmu,or give them a ton of his blood until they reach their maximum power and re- arrange their positions according to their strengths
They have to deserve it he just can’t give out his blood to any demon like that. It can also cause an overload inside a demons body if they can’t handle the extra blood. Which is why they have to get stronger on their own by killing hashira which is what they constantly fail to do. The upper ranks are strong because of who they are

The lower moons were weak, though Kyogai received blood and ate many humans, he reached his limit, and if Muzan gave hin more blood he could've have died, same for the other Lower moons, they are weak phycially and have less experience. Plus if the Lower moons weren't finished with quickly, it would have taken so long to see the Upper ranks.

I just want to note something. Kokoshibu didn't kill yoriichui. What happened was that yoriichui slashed kokoshibu giving him a severe wound and he was about to finish him but he died from exhaustion and old age after that kokoshibu sliced him

It was Daki's brother Gyutaruu that was hated not her she was the favored one because of her looks I've read the manga and that arc three times to know what happened and it was her B R O T H E R that was hated for his looks
No Daki was hated because of her hair and eyes. It’s literally in the demon slayer wiki and other sources. Their mother hated daki literally because of her hair being white and eyes being colorful. Cause her mother to be jealous of her own daughter and made her abusive. Idk how you got 30 likes on false information.

Gyuutaro stopped her however and threatened her so she wouldn’t ever try to hurt Daki again.
So what if she was favored due to her beauty? She was still burned alive to the point of near-death for resisting the lewd advances of some random samurai. So both of them were sad, she only had her brother and he only had her.

I still remember Gyutaro's words when he saw Ume/Daki's burnt body on the ground: "How can you collect from me when you didn't even gave me anything from the start?!?!" Those words always sends shivers down my spine, and almost makes me cry.
I kind of wished we knew more about enmu I really wanted to know his backstory
He was a guy who had problems with hallucinations and it was hard for him to know the difference between dreams and reality, and when he was working as a doctor that led his patients to some trouble. One day Muzan tried to kill and eat him because he was hungry but Enmu didn't feel any pain from getting his organs eaten alive and only felt great admiration for Muzan's strength. When Enmu's brain and heart stopped working Muzan decided to not eat him but instead turn him into a demon because of that

You forgot the part where Genya ate a piece of Kokushibo's sword and hair to give him the ability to fight. He aided in the fight with the 3 hashira by using his blood demon art.
Good video, but you forgot to add the previous two lower two moons: Hairo and Ubume. Both play a significant role in the story in creating three future Hashira.

In the manga, there is a conversation between Shinobu ( the insect hashira) and Kanao , before their encounter with Doma ( Upper Moon 2), Shinobu said to Kanao : " an Upper Moon is as strong as three pillars /hashiras at minimum" so on average, that's how strong upper moons demon are.
i think it only depends on upper moon 2- and 1 . i mean both tanjiro and giyu were able to beat upper moon 3 , not to mention uppermoon 5 legit got soloed .

I might've missed this part, but didn't hear you mention Akaza's defeat by literally pummeling himself until ~50% of his body was gone.
If you commented about how Kokushibo literally needed 3 hashira + Genya to literally put their lives on the line to win, it'd then be more about their fight with him rather than backstory regarding him.
Dude needed 2 prodigy hashira (Gyomei and Muichiro, the former being the strongest), and Sanemi (the second strongest, while using his marechi), and Blood Art-user Genya to lose, killing 2 in the process.
I don’t care how sad Akaza’s backstory is I’ll never forgive him for what he did to my fire boi
you dont need to forgive him in order to appriciate his story. No one is perfect, Akaza has a side that everyone hates, but also a side that many feel sorry for, you just need to see them seperately to understand him as a whole.

I’m a little bummed out that Tanjiro’s ability to empathize was never super capitalized on. It’s the whole reason why Nezuko was able to fight off her demonic impulses, how he was able to convince the others to spare her and have faith in his goal, I mean DEMONS cried because of him, there was a lot of setup imo in painting the demons as sympathetic.
I still Remember Akaza just giving up not because he was defeated, he just wanted to die as he remembers parts of his memory during the battle against Giyu and Tanjirou.
