Not sure why everyone is going on about the abbreviation mpox. Let me give you examples: btw, nasa, cia, fbi, sa etc. Calling monkey pox, mpox is an abbreviation. There is nothing behind it or the name monkey. What makes me more worries is they call it monkey which is directed to an animal where Corona was not called Bat Corona... there might be something behind the naming yes, too stop further investigation.
