      Thanks! We stop off to fish there occasionally. We were not expecting all those trees to be down. The force of the wind must have been crazy to knock those huge trees down like that! The Columbia Gorge can get super windy, but have never seen something like that there. Luckily I think the camp grounds were still closed due to Covid at the time it happened. If it had been open, there would have been people camping there at the time. Could have been really bad.

    Looks beautiful out there watching from the drone. Must of been quite a storm to bring those big trees down. Nice smallie, great time out there.

      Thanks for watching! The Columbia River Gorge area is very beautiful! We are currently working on editing the footage from another trip there for our next video, it will showcase more of it so stay tuned. That area is known for high winds and parts of it are famous for wind surfing. We travel through there pretty often and we have never seen anything like that. The force of the wind must have been crazy for it to take down so many trees.

    You did an outstanding job with the video editing. Loved the drone shots and the transitions. Those trees were massive. That must have been some storm. Nice smallie. One is better than none. 😊👍

      Thanks so much! I can't imagine how intense the wind must have been to cause all that! Luckily no one was camping there when it hit, that could have been bad. We weren't there for very long and spent time checking out all the damage as well, so we were happy with the 1.

    I still don’t understand how you guys don’t have hundreds of thousands of followers by now. Your edits are nice, you guys go to good locations, and you know your stuff!
    I just moved to from Beaverton to Montana, if you guys ever wanna come fly fishing in the Blackfoot let me know.

      First of all, thank you for watching and leaving us a really nice comment! We really appreciate that!
      Second, your comment is a HUGE coincidence! My wife and I were just talking about our channel and how we can improve it. Literally right after we were talking about it, you left us this very motivational comment. We feel we have really improved since the beginning of our channel and wanting it to grow more. Any and all feedback is appreciated!
      ALSO, just yesterday evening our Aunt sent us a text. They live in Denver and her and her family are currently on vacation in Montana right now fishing the Blackfoot river! At first, we thought your comment was from our Aunt, then you mentioned you moved there from Beaverton. We haven't been fishing there and we were looking at the area last night. It looks like some really good trout fishing and maybe some largemouth bass. Have any tips on fishing that area that we can pass along to them?
      Thank you so much again! Stay tuned for our next video coming soon, it should be epic! It involves fishing the Columbia River Gorge and a few dinosaur fish. :)

      Fishing Webers sorry I have nearly no internet out here(it’s great isn’t it?!) so I just saw this. I know fly fishing is the way to go on the Blackfoot, also from a raft seems to be the way to go as that’s the majority of what I am seeing out here.

      @@drue6360 Our relatives love to fly fish so I am sure they did a lot of that on the Blackfoot while they were there. I will have to ask them how their trip was. I would love to fish the Blackfoot. We might have to make a trip that way sometime. I wouldn't mind visiting Glacier again as well. My wife has never been up to Glacier and I think she would like Montana.

      This was at LePage Park where the John Day River meets the Columbia River in the Gorge.

      Glad you didn't think about going to hagg lake trout fishing from the bank was slow

    • @FishingWebers
      @FishingWebers  4 года назад

      We haven’t been to Hagg in a few months. Was it just slow the day you are talking about? Or just has been slow in general? What about the people in boats, has it been slow for them too? Thanks for watching and leaving the feedback!

    • @lewisroses1113
      @lewisroses1113 4 года назад +1

      @@FishingWebers it has been slow even for the people in boats and on the bank

    • @FishingWebers

      @@lewisroses1113 Hmm, I wonder why. Too windy maybe? I know certain parts of that lake can get hit hard with wind and we have switched spots because of it. Eagle Point has been less windy the last few times we were there. What time of day are you fishing there and what were you using?
