we got someone in our raid who always panics after 2 wipes and suggests an extra healer but we ignore him and figure out the mechanic instead
I don't get the logic of saying 5x0 or 6x0 is the same when it is definitely not. If someone is not getting healed, adding a new healer could definitely solve the issue
dont expect an answer to this. who ever operates this channel just wants to make some quick money off of jokerd. clickbait titles all the time and worst cutting ever. he basically cuts out all the moments where jokerd is silent, only shows bosses at 99% and 1%, rarely show loot.
Im sry to say, but you have to educate the people you have instead of introducing new people to do their job, then you'll just have more uneducated people that still don't know what to do specifically, more confusion and less dmg
When 6 is gonna be asserted to do the job 5 coulda done, the 6 is more likely to think the others (of the healer group) will do it, and not take full responsibility themselves, instead of them always needing to be on point, make them do it right instead of spreading the responsibility to a larger group (which is not needed and will lower dmg)

As someone who remembers healing this as a druid during cata.. Yes, another healer does help. The problem is that without gear early cata, mana was a massive issue. And these people are straight from heroics.
Yes, another healer will make sure there isn't 5sec between heals. Because while it might not be directly output related, it is mana related. Max output will drain your mana quick as fuck. So in order to stay healthy through out the entire duration, you spend a lot of time doing cheap heals until you really have to push.

Dps taking unnecessary dmg and failing mechanics. This causes healers to panic. There's also no clear rotation on healer cds when heavy raid dmg is incoming. This will also make healers panic, and they all crank out their cds at the same time. Leaving nothing for the next heavy raid dmg. It's not rocket science.

First thing about raid leading you need to assign healer. You should say you you on the tank. You you aoE heal you you heal which group.
doing heal assignments this rigid is retarded in 2024. Players should know their class, their strengths and weaknesses and heal based on the damage profile going out. Sticking a healer on a tank and saying u heal tank is absolutely braindead. this isnt 2004 lmao literally 20 year old strats

No. Healers must heal. They have two single target healers. Why no heal in 5 seconds = bad healer. If output was problem maybe but not targeting people taking damage is no solvable with gear. Bad healer.
