...great DIY video Jim.....need to do this on my garage double door...I now have the confidence to do it myself...thanks.... and keep the videos coming. 🙂
We have issues with field mice. Had garage door guy replace the seal. His trick for easy glide was using spray dish detergent - worked great. Thanks for this helpful video Jim. Next time we'll replace the seal ourselves 👍🏼
At the beginning of the video you state your fix will seal the open cracks on the bottom corners. Why didn't you show the bottom corners at the end of the video?
There Are 2 Sizes Where The Tee Shaped Ends Fit's In The Channel Groove 5/16 And 1/4 Inch. If Your New Seal Will Not Fit In The Channel Groove Then You Will Need To Buy The Seal With 1/4 Inch Tee Ends . I Also Found Out The Hard Way. You Will Not Find The 1/4 Inch Size In The Home Centers. I Ordered It On Line. Am*z*n FYI.

Use silicone or diluted Dawn.
Well done. Thank you
Our pleasure!
Sliding seems to be the problem even with WD40

I thought I did. Thanks for watching
Never shows the spot where the gap was because the new seal likely didnt fix the gap.
You didn't watch the whole video did you? AT 9:30 I showed the door closed
New seal doesn't fit in the channels. Wider than they are.
Did you buy the one that is rubber? The seal in the big box store are all plastic and will not fit
@@getitdonehomerepair It's rubber. I trimmed it down with a scissor
