I love your Granny Squares. I'm making one with tiny squares, very bright and each square is 1 solid color. Then I want to join them so it looks like the colors go from light to dark or maybe start at one corner and make it look like the colors are waving.

I love the idea of using people-names for naming projects. For this one i was thinking of Lilian or Lorelai ( i'm watching gilmore girls and love that name!) or maybe Maude. Something that sounds a bit whimsical :)

I’ve been making sweaters with a coordinating yarn like Puzzle yarn. It looks nice contrasting with the regular yarn on the body of the sweater.

Love all of your makes. Regarding the BOD vest you might make into a sweater, if you don’t make it into a sweater I was thinking it would look good as a vest only joined by the ribbing at the waist/hip.
I think the new square should be called the Floral Sun.

I recommend circular needles over straights for knitting. Knitting hurt my hands a lot (so does crochet sometimes tbh) and then I switched to circulars and it really helped.

The new granny square reminds me of the town banner from Rapunzel - it just needs to be yellow on the inside and purple on the outside - so maybe it should be called „the Rapunzel square“ or „the sun square“ idk 😂🤗

The new granny square reminds me of sakura card captors, the sakura cards!! they are similar shapes and sakura in japanese its the name of the cherry blossom. i guess i would call sakura card granny square or something, so pretty

I love the Bag O Day sweater pattern and I think you should make it a jumper so you will wear it more. Your knitting was cool. Don't give up. I love the Ice Yarn colors. There are end covers for knitting needles to keep the knitting on and to keep it from poking holes in your bag.

Knitting shouldn't hurt unless you're doing it too long. You might be holding things tight, or the knitting style might make a difference. Trying different types of of needles can help eliminate movement as you knit. Try for good posture. I hope that helps. 😊

I think Ice actually stocks hobium, because ice yarns is primarily a textile company spinning yarn. They also spin for other companies like papatya, cicibebe and lion brand! And for the jumper, you could use a black yarn??
Yes definitely!! I've found so many hobium yarns on ice yarn now!
Oddly enough, I’m the kind of person who HAS to finish one project before starting another. Unless I’m doing something small. So I’ll make little things that I take with me when I go places and I do the big things at home. (My husband does physical therapy twice a week, so I need something to do while I wait for him).

I got literal carpal tunnel when I first switched from knitting to crochet because I strained so much but couldn't put it down😭love it so much now though, you get used to it quickly!

It happened to me too, and I had to stop for like a month and then I changed the way I used the crochet so that my wrists do the minimum and I try to move my whole arm. But still hurts sometimes:(

I learned knitting first and have recently picked up crochet. I find my hands hurt more with crochet than knitting but it may be because I have more experience with knitting. Who knows :D
