You can chain the astable circuits to make a binary counter, too. 🙂 For what that's worth; I'm hoping the devs add a bunch of novel sensor & output devices to make circuits more practical.
The electrical stick does not change the behavior of a logic circuit - it is a power source. You can check this by using a logic gate with 2 sticks and no generator. Sticks can't power electrical lines.
for the continuous noise you just need one more that you start on a delay from the first one. if there's no direct way to do that you could have another arm below each of the sets of 4 with a pedestal on one end with a legendary item on it and then trigger those arms on a delay from each other to hand the item into the loop
hahaha that ending. Glurch Disco Ball! Honestly, though I was hoping electric doors could be automatic when you approach them and close when you leave. I was hoping this video might somehow know a trick to do that lol. Do you think it's possible? I guess not. Guess it would need to be designed that way or a pressure plate.
Cool video, as a developer, and certified minecraft redstone engineer, i found the pacing a bit slow, but still well formated and explained. But i havent really seen anything in the game worth adding logic too. I guess runway lights could be cool in some bases maybe, but ultimately the whole logic thing in this game seems to be underused because there's just not much purpose too it. To be honest, i kinda wish that conveyers and traps did need power so that there was a reason to use this stuff. Right now, all ive ever had to do was make sure all my arms and drills have power.
Man this video had such potential. You have a nice voice to listen to, great enunciation, just need practice with the format. Maybe explain things after you do them. I am about to check your channel to see what the newer videos are like.
i appreciate this video so much but i also have to say, you could do better with the explanation (please dont stop trying) i love the ending part so much. hehe that was fun and creative n_n
i need a timer, that starts a 21 second timer, every 1:55... how do i do that? it feels like im in the right place with the loop system but my brain hurts...
That Electricity Stick trick/glitch is very interesting... but it really seems to break things. I tried it and it actually broke a nearby loop I had created which isn't even attached. I have to imagine it will get patched.
Ty for info about logic in game. But i have question about drill mining automatization. If i place 8 drills for 1 scarlet crystal, i get 1 ore in ~30 sec. Then this ore goes around with conveyer belt and auto hand picks up this ore and place into melting furnace and after into chest. Question is: smelting process at melting furnace more then 30 sec, and when i back to loot my scarlet bars, I see more than 20 ores inside the smelter. You have any ideas, how to optimize this? How to say auto hand, if into smelter have ore, then no take ores from conveyer belt, if not, then take. Sry for my bad english, i trust you understand, what i mean in this question. If you know, how to optimize, maybe make video answer about that.
You could try building a timer with logic gate to alternate between two mechanical arms to pick up ores into their own smelters. However it won't be split evenly. But I believe the issue you are facing right now is due to the patch that fixed the duplicating glitch where if you are far away from the smelter, you will get additional bars. At the moment the devs seem to stop the chunk from being loaded, so belts and smelters don't seem to work when you are far away. I've read somewhere that the ores still get drilled and is stored in the drill which is likely why you have a lot of unsmelted ores when you come to collect them. My advice is to try visiting it frequently or when you first load up your world to play. Or you can just bring the ores back home to smelt in multiple smelters manually.
@@Kytros1A Ok, i try it. Build 3 arms with timer logic and last arm place in the end of conveyer belt like safeline, if another 3 with timer, don't take ores. Ty for answer
@@Kytros1A Y, i build timer scheme, but it's no need i think. Cause i stay around about 30 min, and mining and smelting ores been normal, not stored ores into smelter. This is bug, you right.
decent video but stay on point next time. talked about the loop at the beginning but will explain later, then did it again. Now on the loop explanation you're talking about what you said twice earlier.
I agree, the video you spent time recording and editing on the subject matter was MUCH more concise and helpfu- oh wait, you didn't make one? AND you spelled apocalyptic incorrectly? Well fuck. How about that. Great video OP, well explained esp since electric wires are horribly documented for this game thus far.

24:05 That sudden cut to Glurch's boss fight with all those lights in the background caught me off-guard LOL

Lmao that was an awesomely unexpected twist to the informative video!

The ending, lmao. So goood
*18:58** God damn the timing on that was amazing hah*

Very informative video, I liked the whole thing! There is a lot of creativity here and that earned you another subscriber lol.
Thank you!
Very nice and details test video, thanks for sharing,
Hopefully the official updates will be more interesting combinations in the future.
Thank you! Someone mentioned that there's enough to make a computer.. I don't know how but I am looking forward to seeing what others can do

hopefully in future updates we get a pressure plate or some sort of sensor!
1 year later, there's pressure plates now

A Minecraft redstone circuit 99 class video would probably help you a lot. Then move on to 101 and more advanced tutorials.

That's interesting, didn't know it affected other unconnected loops!
@@Kytros1A it was very irregular and I could only get it to repeat inconsistently. Maybe my world was glitched rather than the mechanic!

light source seems pretty pointless if you need a generator next to every one for max lighting lmao
