Arjen Bowen must be the nicest guy in football ⚒ top work.
34:15 a bit of context to this. West ham were verging on relegation, and played a liverpool side who were invincible at the time, and just beat west ham 2-0 a couple weeks earlier. Jarrod’s shot was virtually the last kick of the game, and would’ve made it 3-3 at Anfield. Wouldve been the dream debut.
Very interesting to hear about the step up to West ham such a great insight into the quality difference and having to readjust. The guy has full adjusted now and is one of the top attackers in the league. Needs to be on that plane to the WC

This has to be one of the best podcasts I've watched, it helps being a west ham fan but just getting bowen reactions to making it must be truly inspiring to ank young kid watching this..... I think it's safe to say bowen your "big time" now mush. Really enjoyed it.

Refreshing to hear Western accents in football, we don't get that enough. And seeing nostalgic photos of that classic Sun Valley shirt on baby specky Jarrod at Edgar Street, and hearing Jarrod call himself a "young Bull" with so much pride is making me smile and tear up a bit.

Discovered jarrod bowen a few years ago on football manager and turned him into a beast, I had a friend who worked for the Hull city academy and he managed to get me a signed match worn shirt of bowens loved him ever since them days. I'm from Swansea but always been a bowen fan 🙌🏼

I was gutted when he left Hull, but it's clear that Jarrod was destined for greater things. So deserves an England call-up. Dedicated to his art form, the club he plays for and all around him

@@lukejohnson9781 Yeah, Keane Lewis-Potter is 21. He broke into the first team the same season we sold Bowen. It would only have been a few months, but think he learnt a lot from Bowen as they are very similar in how they play. I do hope we keep him now that we have new owners and looking to move forwards back to the Prem, but you just never know
