What I loved about Murray was how his enthusiasm could turn a race into a dramatic event. World War 3 might have been announced earlier that day but what was really important to him at the moment was Damon Hill setting a new best lap time.

this was damons last race at this circuit he had announced his retirement after the French grand prix but 5th place at Silverstone changed his mind and at sazuka he retired 32 laps early by parking a healthy car straight into the garage and he stated that he had enough and wanted to walk away in one peace
