You're right that PC is a pain to troubleshoot (going through that right now) but most games sell more on there than Xbox at this point and Xbox is already dying a slow death.
Is there a time warp on RUclips? Most of the complaints I'm seeing about PC gaming sound like they were written fifteen or more years ago. Scarcely any of those issues are still a thing on a well designed PC. I'm old enough to remember struggling getting sound cards to work in Windows 95, a modern system is nearly console-like, especially through a UI such as Steam. Not quite like an 80s home computer like the Atari 800 or the Amiga but things have gotten vastly more sophisticated since then. I feel that there will always be a place for the turnkey console experience but the gap between console and PC is quite narrow today. Particularly if you go with a dedicated PC for gaming and keep everything else on a separate lower spec machine.
I'm not gonna go by a PC for gaming. I've been there before and I will sit the whole time changing graphics settings back and forth and back and forth! Then you have a giant PC in your living room hooked up to your tv. Not to mention the hassle of Windows, antivirus, constant updates. You can keep that

I have had to go into deep gamefiles and my registry to get some games to work properly as well.
@@rayharvey1330why would Xbox pump so much r&d into a machine that won’t sell well? You’re a lot more likely to get something very cheap that can stream Gamepass
