If you like RC, or planes or, even better, both of them, you need to take a look to @markoroolaid's YT channel (ruclips.net/channel/UC6-_y5UlPNbnIjZRVl91Usw). From the intricacies of aerodynamic design to the thrill of a successful flight! ✈💯
That second flight looked a lot smoother. Maidens are always nerve wracking until you can trim the plane out and set the proper rates/expo and tweak the CG. Awesome build video. Thank you for sharing.
Very Cool. Things have changed and developed vastly since I used to help my father many decades ago. Speaking of decades ago, I think the 1970's "Blue Movies" wants their music back !
Scrappy has a four-blade-prop, not eight. The belly pod is not retractable, it is removable. The motorcycles are carried under the wings with special harnesses. Aside from these small details, excellent build. Mike Pattey would be impressed.
It was just for testing purposes. You need to watch the original videos and see he has addressed everything including the bikes under the wings. Marko is an extremely talented builder.
I think what I'll have to do is build the aircraft, assemble the control systems for someone else to fly. I'm in my seventh decade of life and my eyesight is a little shaky. Some of these parts and operations I will have to view more than once. Mr. Roolaid, I appreciate your expertise and your sharing it, I've found your channel to be the most thorough. Thank you for your patience. Bobby.
That is a nice plane for sure... And someone who's been in the hobby for as long as I have. I truly appreciate the work that went into the design of that creation.... Happy flying.
errrrrrr .... excuse me ... what about the Wing slats ?? Cheers ... fantastic build . I had followed Mikes YT channel for the entire build Crazy airplane that I guess soon you will need to add the Mountain Bike wing hard points LOL
Scrappy is amazing. But no, it does not have an eight bladed prop, or a fully retractable belly pod. This model building effort is amazing too. Fantastic work!!! I thought for a minute that Marco was going to model Scrappy's flaps and extending leading edges, and was very excited to see it, but alas it did not happen. And it certainly does not look like it's 1/3 scale...it looks more like 1/6 or 1/8.
VERY cool and another amazing talent. Ramy rc is someone similar who creates some amazing flying models. I build my own from lazer cut parts but this is next level brilliant! Blue skies!
The hear of the cylinder head will melt the 3D printed engine cowling. You should have made the cowling from fibreglass. Besides that, its and awesome build!
the moment arm was a little short, from the leading edge of the wing to the stabiliser, hens the controls, I build my Moment arm three time the width of the wing, ie the leading edge to the trailing edge width. stable flight.
I wonder what the wing load is... God bless him for not going electric, there is something about infernal combustion engines in these planes that overrides any amount of cursing during preflight starts and the after wiping of residual oil
No, it's not. You still need to have the skills to operate them and an artistic mindset to build. If you are incapable without these tools, you won't be capable with the tools. It's just an excuse for a lack of talent. You are demeaning his talent out of jealousy. If you had all these tools you would still fail to build a scale scrappy. Stop with your nonsense and just admit the man is very talented. You donut.

The level of skill displayed here is incredible!

I think this man is wery clever and talented creator and manufacter😮
Beautiful build and a great video. Particularly enjoyed the soundtrack! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Beautiful work! What amazes me most is how does he keep his workspace so immaculate? Mine never look like that despite best efforts. 👍🏻
Very Cool. Things have changed and developed vastly since I used to help my father many decades ago.

congratulations on the workshop, combining technology and skills. A beautiful film for enthusiasts, thank you!
Incredibly gifted young man.. bravo
It's just an awesome restoration. Well done, as always.
Kreatifitas tiada batas, terimakasih sobat semoga anda selalu bahagia...
very good work!

Is the weight and power “scale”?
It was just for testing purposes. You need to watch the original videos and see he has addressed everything including the bikes under the wings. Marko is an extremely talented builder.
don't forget the engine is a Lycoming 780 not a 540 ?
Patey didn’t build a perfect plane. No turbo prop on scrappy, very sad.
I wish I could hit the like buttons 100 times!
I love this plane: well done!

U.R A genius bro
Very nice indeed!
Wow, this is next level, and then some! Fantastic build!
Incredible skills!
👇Can this plane fly without a runway?
What a hard work he does for us
All planes fly in the sky/air. No runway needed^^
Can a boat sail without water?
If you watch the flying sequence at the end you can answer your question to yourself.
@@jeanpierrejeapec904not even an appropriate comparison. They didn’t ask if an airplane could fly without air. BTW, no, it can’t
Beautiful work. A joy to watch. Thank you.

Insane skills.
Simply amazing!
ELLERİNE SAĞLIK, YİNE DÖKYÜRÜYORSUN🏆
Just a brilliant build, skill I don't possess. It's beautiful.
love the use of the food vacuum bag!
Absolute work of art.
Beutiful results!
An absolutely EPIC biild!! Mike would be proud!!
WOW awesome job!
Fantastic !!!
this is so awesome!!!
Ancora una meraviglia stupenda e come vola veramente bello.
Genio perfezionista e talento da vendere.
Superb !!!
beautiful
High Tech bild with special tools and material such as wrap 3D print carbon wrap 3 stars from me !🤠
For machines to run smoothly, the parts must be perfect.
Pretty work
So Scarry Skill.. Perfect !!
Mike Patey will be proud!
Perfekt.... mehr braucht man nicht sagen
amazing
incredible skills
The Roolaid man! Roh no?? Roh YEAH!! *Busts through wall⁸
This is incredible , awesome piece of art!
It’s a great toy plane but it’s not art .
Videos with commentary and narration explaining what's going on is much better than having to stop to read text written by AI.
Absolutely magnificent 👍🏿👏🏿🤚🏿🙏🏿.
A lot has changed in recent years. If you have access to these technologies and materials, you can build, for example, a space shuttle.
errrrrrr .... excuse me ... what about the Wing slats ??
Cheers ... fantastic build .
I had followed Mikes YT channel for the entire build
Crazy airplane that
I guess soon you will need to add the Mountain Bike wing hard points LOL
Excelente trabajo, felicidades....🇲🇽🇲🇽....
Ouaah ... Furious !
After the gee bee I’m glad to see this
Great Job love your vids, Need to make 1 of yours
Wow! Amazing detail and workmanship. What did he cover the wings and fuse with? I need some of that stuff!
Gorgeous build
Thanks for sharing your building skills

Magnificent Marco. My only question is how many hours did it take to build this aircraft?
Scrappy is amazing. But no, it does not have an eight bladed prop, or a fully retractable belly pod.

Dobrá práce
Wonderful!
@MikePatey created the original Scrappy.
Watch out for those mild crosswinds
excellent tip, considering how Mike was victim of a nasty crosswind in the original.
MEGA 👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I wouldn't mind if this lasted hours. I enjoy watching
y yo
The hear of the cylinder head will melt the 3D printed engine cowling. You should have made the cowling from fibreglass. Besides that, its and awesome build!
I believe it was a Dual turbo IO-780 Lycoming. It came from his race plane. Hence the airboat prop to absorb the HP. Dig the build though.
Nice 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Where is all this work being done? What type of building?
Cool
I watch all the vid of him building the Scrappy
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry I think, 1:4 maybe in 1 Month🤩 But very nice work👍
Did you get the blueprints from Mike?
Superbe.
KLASSE GROET JOOP.
Incredible work, but I reckon that your little assistant watching over you needs to be fed, you can see his bones!! 😁
the moment arm was a little short, from the leading edge of the wing to the stabiliser, hens the controls,
I build my Moment arm three time the width of the wing, ie the leading edge to the trailing edge width.
stable flight.

Waiting for somebody to dislike the music for being too loud or annoying when you can just lower the volume.🎉
So, what does Mike think of you borrowing of his design fur Scrappy?
1:1 !??! WTF!??!
Maybe a plane for gerbils …
How much did it weigh?
Why Do you need to know ?
I wonder what the wing load is... God bless him for not going electric, there is something about infernal combustion engines in these planes that overrides any amount of cursing during preflight starts and the after wiping of residual oil
Actually an eight cylinder Lycoming TSIO-720.
Did you know that when you double click on the comment it makes a like?
I do now.
Thank you internet wizard.
So how do I give a thumbs down?
My lesson learned for the day
No I didn't
When Scrappy was a baby ... 😉
Has nothing to do with 1:1 > click bait....
Its so much easier when you have all the tools like 3D printer ,CNC LASER cutter, Water jet cutter, Hot wire cutter, just to name a few
No, it's not. You still need to have the skills to operate them and an artistic mindset to build. If you are incapable without these tools, you won't be capable with the tools.
Wonder if Mike Patey gave him a scrappy license?
A l'échelle ... ? Quelle échelle ? 😮
Nice build, but it looks a bit small to be 1/3 scale.
