@techbuzz vai. I am on 17.5 and model is 15 pro max. Just tell me, is there any data loss happened? Because i do not backed up my data
There will be no data loss on updating..but on a safer side, backup your phone and then update to ios 18..bcz if you want to roll back, you need to restore your phone which will wipe the data, so having a backup is better

Its not compulsory..but i advise you to do it..bcz if you want to roll back to ios 17, you need to restore your phone which will erase data..so its better to have a backup
