    After I messaged them this "Wow, this is the worst policy I have ever heard… The cabinet is brand new, opened today didn’t fit under the desk, I boxed it back up, never used it…
    ", and this "If I can not return the file cabinet, can I at least get my money back? This is not acceptable. No reasonable company ever does that to their customers…". They decided to send me a 50% refund, better than nothing...
    No return policy is still not acceptable, because I still don't have an under-desk cabinet and now I only have 50% of the money. I shouldn't have to complain to get a return. Most of the companies would take returns hassle-free, and many would do it for 30 days or even a lifetime. We are talking about a brand new, never-used item here.

    No return policy sucks. But also, you should have measured man.

    thanks for the timely review! I was almost going to place my order -- the return policy of file cabinet is indeed unexpected. I would expect they at least put an asterisk to the statement about 60-day trial.

    what if the item was busted, or crushed, i remember getting a dishwasher deliverd that was litteraly crushed, what if there was no return prolicy they could bascialy package any garbage from the street

    I ordered a file cabinet too. The lock doesn’t work properly. They tried to trouble shoot but no success. I offered to return it and requested a refund. They did issue a refund. But then they told me to discard it 😢.

    I saw this video too late. I have the same issue but with the height. I also did not read their fine print but read other parts of their return policy where it said it was 60-day trial. I also regret purchasing from here cause the locks get jammed too. Buy from somewhere else with a true return policy! 😖

    Thanks for the info - I was just about to place an order and after seeing your video - decided to go with the uplift cabinet. Don't want to risk getting something online that can't be returned.

    I was thinking of buying their Bowery chair, but this makes me second guess doing business with them. It says chairs can be returned but makes them seem like a shady company. You shouldn’t have to search or do a deep dive to find their policy…it should be somewhere on the item page. Very lame.

      Ya. It is probably the best to stay clear from them. Since there are plenty of companies making similar products everywhere.

    love the looks of the Laura Davidson SOHO padded chair I purchased but after 6 months of very light use (under one hour a day average) the cushions began to sag significantly with no zipper access to repair the filling. I purchased through Amazon and used Amazon to contact the seller. Within minutes LD replied saying this was normal wear and tear and basically tough luck. I replied this was unacceptable, they didn't respond. Amazon then contacted them 2 more times on my behalf and each time LD responded instantly (obviously without consideration or thought) with similar 'tough luck' messages. At the end or the day, Amazon also gave up on LD and did the right thing, i.e. refunded a good share of the purchase price. I will NEVER purchase another LD product based on my experience with poor quality and LD's refusal to consider my valid complaints given the price of the chair. Amazon, however, has always done the right thing by me.

    I was about to order from the site and searched for reviews first. I felt your frustration in this. Absolute stupid ridiculous. I will buy from elsewhere. Fk them.

    I have a wider desk so I may not have the same problem, but what about the height? Can you get your desk low enough with it underneath?

      It was low enough for me. You should just measure the space though. That’s the safest way to know.

    Thank you for the warning. I was just 1 click away from completing the purchase of a filing cabinet, then decide to look up reviews and saw your video.. Not accepting returns for certain items is shady as heck. I will never buy anything from this company. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

    I really enjoy watching your video but I think you're wrong because you didn't check the return policy and didn't check the size. It is wrong to blame the company for the wrong situation due to your negligence and tell others not to buy it. It's ok if there is a defect in the item but I think this is 100% your fault. What has this company done to you?

      That’s fair enough. But on their site they had big text giving people an expectation everything is returnable.
      Honestly I think almost everything (besides unreliable items such as underwear) should have a min 30 days return policy.

      Did you see how misleading the Free returns was? It was RIGHT next to the link to buy the cabinet. This is misleading. Anyone could have been mislead by it when it is that immediately placed.

      Ya no return really sucks. Big things like water heater and fridge might make sense but file cabinets definitely doesn’t

      Of course, I do. However, I think something so small should totally be refundable, especially with the website’s misleading message about return.
