Taron Egerton went from singing an Elton John song in Sing, to being in a movie with Elton John (Elton was in Kingman: The Golden Circle), to playing Elton John in Rocketman. Those two HAVE to be somewhat friends in real life after all of that.
This was actually his audition. They knew he was in sing but they werent sure id he could pull off elton so she asked the directors if he could change his song to this. The directors of the other movies loved it soo much they gave him the role right away

Elton and his kids went to see this movie, knowing that one of his songs was in it, but he didn’t know who is singing it, and he liked how taron sang the song so much he made sure that he had the part as him him and Rocketman because he truly liked how well he sang his song
Tori Kelly wasn’t really a RUclipsr per se. She just started uploading covers after she got rejected by Simon Cowell in American Idol auditions IIRC. Her most famous video’s probably her PYT cover. She never really stayed as a RUclipsr. She started putting out music as early as 2012(?) I believe. Nobody Love’s probably her most popular. She’s also collabed with big artists with songs like I Was Made For Loving You with Ed Sheeran and Name with Justin Bieber. I sound like a Wikipedia article right now lol I just love her. Truly one if, if not THE underrated vocalist of the current generation.
I just gotta say that Johnny is easily my favorite character in this movie, and his rendition of "I'm Still Standing" is how became a fan of both Taron Egerton and Elton John simultaneously, and it's also why I'm almost always listening to the "Rocketman" soundtrack in my free time to this very day.
To answer Roxy’s question who voice the sharks in Finding Nemo. Bruce, the great white was voice by Barry Humphries. He sadly passed away last year. Eric Bena voiced Anchor, the hammerhead and Bruce Spence voiced Chum, the mako shark.

Tori Kelly is a Grammy award winning artist whose talent actually reflects what big awards should represent. That said, everyone did exceptionally well as their roles. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Always puts me in a good mood 😁 This was the movie where I discovered that Taron Egerton could really sing, only saw him in Kingsman before this movie came out (also Scar Jo)
Also a lot of people immediately think less of Norman but you have to imagine, yeah she's the stay at home mom of all them damn kids but he's the sole breadwinner for all them damn kids plus he and his wife. Dude is absolutely drained all of the time lol.

Dude has a right to be dead tired, ofc he should interact more with his family, simple short conversations would do, but also he's a secondary character that we only see a handful of times, so I choose to believe he was just extra done the week or so that everything took place in.
I love SING! It is so underated. The cast is fantastic and they sound amazing singing. And it's OK, Roxie, I don't know how to ride a bike either and I'm over 30.
Honestly, out of all of Illuminations movies Sing and Sing 2 has got to be my favourites. The story is genuinely heartwarming and not just there to sing popular songs with no thought. Every character had an interesting plot and it wrapped up beautifully.
This is my daughters 2nd favorite movie series next to Trolls. She’s bigger fan of Sing 2 which I absolutely can’t wait for. But yes this one was pretty great. Great cast. Awesome songs. Cannot wait to watch with you Roxy. You’re my favorite! And John. Great as ever! Love you both ❤❤❤

My dad for some reason LOVED this movie. After we left the theater he said it was his favorite animated movie he's ever seen by far. I was so shocked at how much he enjoyed it. He's been dead for 2 years now and it makes me happy more people are giving this cheesy movie a chance.

At first I did not like the pig dad, but after rewatching I realized he prob works long hours to support the family and all the kids. I’m not saying neglecting your wife and kids is good, but I can see why he’s prob always tired and goes to sleep instantly. In the end he realized what he was missing seeing his wife perform
Yeah. I honestly don't get it. What's their problem with Kanye West? As if he was NEVER controversial and severely eccentric at ANY point of his career? Only difference is he was controversial in one direction at the beginning and now he's swung the opposite.
Of all the animals they could have tried to turn into furry bait for this movie, I almost feel the need to commend them for choosing a pig instead of one of the more obvious, easier options. Even more so that they actually made it kind of work.
I believe it was said somewhere that Mike indeed met his end after the end of the movie, although it might have been like a case of "it was a deleted scene but that's what played out in the director's head even for the final version." Someone would need to confirm or deny that. I'd personally like if he came back and had a change of heart arc but idk.

I actually really enjoy this movie even its sequel too. NGL they could have went the route with Rosita and her marriage trouble with her husband where they could have them get a divorce or separated and have her fall for Gunter and be with him. I honestly thought that was going to happen, but they went with the happy route where she loves him regardless and he got a reality check right away of who he’s married to.
I remember Tori Kelly from her Christian songs as I grew up in a religious household so when I watched Sing I was surprised they casted her but I was happy at the same time as I always believed she was an underrated singer.
I thought tori kelly was on American idol but didn’t get through but then came so big over social media she got big offers and even toured and then got the part in the sing movies
