I wish I could afford implants. I have top and bottom dentures. But have to use glue Avery day. Plus it makes me gag so bad. And the bottom dentures hurt me so much. I went back so many time. So basically I don’t wear my bottoms.

Can you get an all on 4 zirconia lower with if you have an upper denture?

I have been to 3 oral surgeons and none of them will do a zirconia lower because they said the upper denture will fracture and I will have to replace it every 4-5 years??? Im confused? p]][ @@jaximplantsdentures98863:57

@@beckym5730 medical insurance does not cover implants / all on 4's, they are considered "cosmetic" so full price. but as long as you have some bone you can do them.
@@beckym5730 no usually dental insurance doesn't but might cover some things. but not the full cost. like it might cover extractions..i just had mine done. and be very picky about who does this for you..mine cost 30k just for upper! and if they try to put you into permanent right away, run from the place!

Does it hurt to have them done?
I just had them done October 17th full upper, it hurt alittle but the pain was manageable, I've just been taking Tylenol and ibuprofen. The build up is more scary than actually finishing
Done bottom jaw yesterday. they say if you take care of them they easily last a lifetime, i can tell you i had pain taking out my remaining teeth coz of infections around them making local anesthesia not really take full effect. but besides taking out my teeth, no pain at all. took 1 ibuprofen just in case last night and slept like a baby, today im going in for top jaw extractions and implants, and then getting my temporary teeth tomorrow. so far no pain besides taking out the infected teeth and that only hurt until they were out of my mouth
you can also pay extra for general anesthesia, but honestly there's no need unless you are very scared of dentist. i kept getting asked if it hurt literally every second, i just told the surgeon no need to ask if it hurts i'll just tell him. haha

@@swissmaid must say today i am in a lot of pain. but ive completed full mouth extractions and 8 implant placement so i am very happy as i am getting temporary teeth tomorrow and in few months i will never have teeth issues again. cant wait! if you can afford it 100% recommend all on 4 from someone whos just 1 day post op and still hurting. haha.
With proper care and maintenance, it can last a lifetime! With any surgical procedure there can be discomfort. Consistently, our patients don't say that they experience a high level of discomfort. Thank you for your comment!

Sometimes there might be some contouring necessary but most certainly nothing is done without a strict purpose of making everything better for the patient!
