  • Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden and easily accessible from Copenhagen, Denmark. It’s possibly the greenest city I’ve been to, and I highly recommend that you add this to your travel bucket list. But it’s an obscure city in the south of Sweden, so where do you start? I’ll show you how to get to Malmo and show you around everything that’s cool, such as The Turning Turso, Malmö Castle, Lilla Torg, Stortorget, St Peters Church, St Johannes Church, the Disgusting Food Museum, all the parks; Slottsträdgården, Kungsparken, Pildammsparken and much more!
    Ninh Ly presents ‘Ultimate Bucket List’ - a brand new RUclips channel to explore cool things to do before you die. From swimming with dolphins, to jumping off cranes, to gambling in Vegas. I hope you like this video of Malmö, it’s a city that not a lot of people think of visiting - but if you’re visiting Copenhagen, it’s definitely worth crossing the border for.
    Speaking of which, I’m currently working on my feature length video guide on Copenhagen and all the Danish Royal Palaces, so stay turned for that.
    But in the meantime, please help out my channel by sharing this video where you can.

    That is indeed a real casino. In Sweden there are four physical casinos (as opposed to the myriad of online casinos) in Malmö, Göteborg, Sundsvall and Stockholm. All are state owned, and all are named Casino Cosmopol.
    The Australian flag was probably because Malmö had official visitors from Australia that day.

    Thanks for this. I was in Malmö in 2016 with a daytrip from Copenhagen. Didn't get to see as much as I would like so went back there last year. Saw the Turning Torso. Had no idea whether you can go in, but honestly, I was too tired (just arrived by train from Stockholm) to walk more, so I saw it pretty close. Glad to see its closed to the public so I didn't waste much not walking the extra few metres. 🙂. Its still a beautiful city and Sweden is one of the countries I will most probably go back to eventually... after I visit all the other places I want to go to.

    • @UltimateBucketList
      @UltimateBucketList  Год назад +1

      Yeah for sure! Sweden is definitely a nice country, clean, organised and green.
      The Turning Torso looks nice, but it's a shame you can't go inside - it's lucky that you didn't go all the way there to find out the hard way!
      I plan to do Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo to complete the Scandinavian capitals this year. Hopefully?!

    As much as this city unfortunately has a bad reputation for high crime and violence, i must say that nothing can take away potential. the city is very lovely and has lots of history and great cafes, museums, and lots and lots of monuments and landmarks! definitely a place to visit, while also having to be aware of your surroundings. just use common sense, and you will be fine! Thanks for the video!

    Great guide to my old home town, I used to live in in Malmö for 15 years and this is by far the best guide I've seen, well done! The only thing In think you missed out on was Folkets Park, The Peoples Park, up by Möllevången, has great cafés and outside bars, whenever I ever go back I go there. But you might have come on the off season?
    And this time I only have one small correction for you. The "river" down town is not a river at all, it's a man made canal connected to the ocean. Used to serve as both a moat round the city for protection and transportation of goods. Again, great guide!

    Located in southern Sweden, Malmö has historically been influenced by French Huguenot refugees who settled in the region during the 17th century. This historical connection may have resulted in a higher concentration of individuals with French ancestry in the city.

It was supposed to be held in Russia, but it was hosted by my city of Malmö. I gave a lecture at the conference, and all the lectures were published by the United Nations on one hurricane.
    At the end of my lecture, my message to the international community was to stand by the countries of the Gulf region to expect a major marine pollution that we will not be able to contain, and the big event happened with the ignition of Kuwaiti oil wells and the leakage of crude oil in the Gulf and the east coast of Saudi

    Hello Ninh! Now, I have never been to Malmo, but I have been to Stockholm. Speaking of Stockholm, do you plan on visiting it someday? As for the Malmo Sports scene, Malmo is the home of the football god, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who retired this week. The reason I’m bringing this up is because back in 2018, a statue of Zlatan was unweiled in front of the Malmo FF stadium, but when Zlatan bought a share in Hammarby, a football club based in Stockholm, Malmo fans trashed the statue, and in 2020, the statue was completely removed from the stadium grounds. And I want to know, was the statue returned to the grounds or is it still not there?
