Your Second Flight Pattern work at KSBP

We take a look at doing closed-traffic pattern work with SayIntentions.AI Air Traffic Control! This is a fantastic "second flight"!
I just realized that when I called for taxi, I forgot to tell them I had information Sierra. (Since I'm in student pilot mode, it opted not to correct me.. though it still can). When making your initial contact with a new facility, always add, "with information [sierra]" to indicate that you have the current ATIS information.

This is great! With each practice run the knot in my stomach that I always get when preparing to talk with ATC isn't quite as strong, and my knuckles are a little less white while squeezing the life out of the yoke & throttle. (Why am I half terrified at the prospect of talking to an AI???) Side note: Thirty years ago, this is what I dreamed Flight Simulator would someday become. That day is today. Thanks for this fantastic new feature!!!

Thanks Brian looking forward to the release and my invite to join. Using PE you become familiar with KSBP. In fact it has become my and others virtual home field. I'm looking forward to using your product at my RealWorld airport KEGE here in Colorado in that I don't have PE coverage outside SOCAL. It will be interesting to see how PE and SI relate to each other, ie can I leave their airspace to yours and then return in the same flight. Do a Kip on the Ground thing and push the limits, LOL.

Thanks for the demo! Are there any plans to have correct taxiway routing soon?

The taxiway routing all comes from the MSFS database, which means it's correct about 70% of the time. We're exploring options to improve it.. but there's really no published data on taxiways (that doesn't cost hundreds of thousands of dollars), so we will likely have to crowd-source it.

I discovered that if I tell the ATC that I have to take taxiways X, Y, and/or Z, it's happy to correct its mistake.
