Cen Smith as I look at past performances, I realize just how much this girl worked. On the road, movies, award shows, interviews, networking etc. Maybe we were all so selfish, never thinking that this woman is not a robot. She had a family (husband that was blamed for tainting our poor Whitney), a child to raise and a mother to love. It all came at a price for us all. RIP and to Bobby, we always knew. Brother enjoy your life.

That's what gets me when all people talk about is drugs when it come to her. That woman worked her ass off her whole entire career and was never appreciated the way she should STILL be. Her career achievements and humanitarian efforts should be at the forefront. Fine mention the drugs, but don't let that be all that can be said! Her peers might have put out more albums, but I'm sure she averages more sales per album than them because she valued quality over quantity with her music. But she was consistently working!

    • @michelesimms-burton208

Right. Not even getting time off to bond with Bobbi Christina because Clive Davis didn’t want to miss the opportunity to capitalize from the Body Guard soundtrack reaching number 1, or so the story goes. She worked hard, harder than many of us.

And people want to attribute her vocal decline moreso to drugs, when the truth most likely was overuse. Case in point: Singing live in this video when CLEARLY her voice was exhausted and she did not need to. But that's the kind of gracious person she was. Countless times she went on stage (in her prime) sick with next to no voice and made it happen. I wish she would have had stronger people who made her stop. But I guess nobody was gonna tell Whitney no (as her song goes).

It's a roller coaster ride right here on planet earth a beautiful lady rests today ninth of August was your birth
Your love has shone through all your songs and touched the millions here you have eliminated people's worries and erased their doubts and fear

My love is your love I will always love you you rest your head now to sleep and your love will live on eternally like song like the vastness of oceans so deep
Like the diamonds that shine on the crests of the waves in the reflection of the night lighted moon your love will live on for now and always so sad that you left us so soon
And now you will be with your bodyguard God will protect you with love while you rest
You will never be forgotten Miss Whitney Elizabeth Houston

Whitney always spoke very fast when she was high. You can tell from her older interviews when she was young (and supposedly clean), she spoke slowly and gracefully. She returned to that slow manner of speaking in 2009, at the beginning of her comeback.
I love Whitney and I love watching her on video but when she starts chattering like at 1:03 or 11:03 I just know something is wrong and it bothers me. ._.
