Das erwähnte Buch "Fermats letzter Satz" ist einfach nur wunderbar! Ich habe es schon zweimal gelesen und es ist immer wieder faszinierend. Eine Wanderung durch die Geschichte der Mathematik. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!
Ich glaube sein größter Erfolg sind wir... Soviele Meschen die es lieben diesem Mann zuzuhören wie er Spaß daran hat zu erklären/vermitteln. WOW! Das ist ja total GEIL. Sehr cool erklärt und, SO hätte Mathe in der Schule viel mehr Spaß gemacht, TOLL, sehr TOLL. Euler und Fermat, toll. Ohne dass er es gesagt hat habe ich die Erkenntnis erlangt das RSA auf Primzahlen basiert. Man Teiler braucht...Das ist dahingehend bemerkenswert weil ich seit langer Zeit mal wieder,seit wenigen Tagen, als Laie und Matheschwächling, mich mit Kryptografie beschäftige...Und das nur weils interessant ist und ich nur weiß das man damit Daten verschlüsseln kann. AES 256 ist sehr sicher ;)...
Nach einigen netten Vortraegen hab ich ihn jetzt doch mal background gecheckt. Und siehe da: "Er hält die Angst vor den möglichen Folgen globaler Erwärmung für übertrieben und bezeichnete den Kampf gegen sie als „Klimawandelwahn“ und ein "Scheinproblem" Als Physiker: Chapeau Herr Prof. Taschner! This is by no means Fermats Last Theorem but is just a special case of it that has been proven by Euler long time ago ...
