    I think I LOVE the idea of PBL....but....I am finding it really difficult to understand how it is different from how I teach now. With Guy Claxton et al I read, I hear, but I don't actually SEE what it is that is different. Could someone point me in the direction of a working example of: Here is English Lit (for example) taught traditionally, and here it is using PBL...do you guys understand what I'm getting at? or am I just being particularly dense ;) TIA Bee

    How do you teach the students to tools to even know to frame a question to solving a problem? I don't think this works at this level. I have experienced problem-based learning in college. I'm skeptical that this works for high schools.
