Before I watch this: you're wonderful, your vids have helped me in dark moments and I am glad to see you smiling and glowing in the thumbnail. I never met you and probably never will but I feel as happy for you as I would for a friend. May you be happy, content and at peace :)
Thanks Scott! For me personally this video is in perfect timing because I decided to skip work today- since I felt so overwhelmed by dealing with my colleges (which I know may sound stupid, but it is what it is), and I had a great day but still felt guilty for skipping work, and what you said really helped me. And I’m so glad you didn’t listen to that annoying thought of you to not post the video😂 You are amazing!
Even before i watched the video i know scott s video are priceless and its so many msny useful tools for everybody who suffring anxity, depression etc i just watch again and again and again im not tired thnx scott for your time to creat this video for us this lot mean for me
I was not looking at the screen while listening to the podcast, but.. but..but , I had to!,...when Scott said "we do want to punch people in the jaw, but we don't, though we want to"😂😂🤭🤭See🤷🏻 how awesome we are😁😎
I really needed to hear this. I'm a farmer. I care for more than a hundred animals daily. I build and assemble things. I solve random problems that would probably never come up for most people with even more random solutions. I lift and move around heavy stuff. I work daily in the heat. Despite running a farm, I manage to keep the house clean and not smelling like a farm. I mow the lawn. I go up and down stairs all day and am on my feet for a good part of the day. And I do all that with chronic lower back and hip pain thanks to a car accident. Some days literally all I can do is make sure the animals are fed and watered and that their enclosures are cleaned, and then sit and stare at the wall for hours...or sleep. That's all I have energy for on days like that. And it makes me feel like I'm not doing enough, but I don't really stop to think about just how much work that stuff is. Despite constant exhaustion, frequent loneliness, recovering from an abusive relationship, and chronic pain, I manage to keep these animals alive and make sure they have a great quality of life. Guess I should focus more on my wins than what I think isn't getting done. 🥹
It sounds like you work extremely hard! I have a completely different job, sitting in front of a computer all day - and that alone feels exhausting. Look at you! Conquering physical and mental challenges every single day WHILE RECOVERING FROM AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP? That's crazy amazing, I'm so proud of you! So freaking amazing!
@@kaziayesharahman1779 thank you, seriously. I'm not always great at reminding myself that I'm awesome, and I certainly wasn't hearing that from the person I did the most for. So it's nice to hear from someone else occasionally. And yeah it's hard and tiring work, but the fact that it's so rewarding more than makes up for that. ❤️
What else would you put on this list?! There's so much to fit into a day. Well done everyone!
