It's cool to just talk about post launch of 1.0 but I hope no one really thinks it's coming anytime soon. If bsg does launch 1.0 within, let's say, a year, I hope they have a bunch of stuff fixed and already developed that they just haven't implemented because if not we'll just be getting beta under the guide of "full release". Before I even want to imagine the full version of tarkov I want them at bare minimum, to make streets playable and not crash someone's PC, fix the hundreds of map design errors such as, being unable to crouch walk on stairs without being caught on an invisible wall causing to you not move forward anymore, slightly elevated parts of the ground which you cannot walk over despite the elevation being 2 inches high and their audio problems completely figured out.

It would allow casuals to get kappa and it would allow the economy to reset a little. Might even do something to the hideout during that time like make it unstable or parts unusable.
I agree with having seasonal characters. Would make the game way more interesting and people who don't want a wipe can keep playing their non seasonal character
Regarding your post-launch seasons idea, anything time-gated by seasons to capitalize on FOMO is a hell naw from me, man. Unless those quests transfer over to "Standard" so anyone can complete it afterwards, that's cool.

For me, wipes are exactly the reason i stopped playing Tarkov. I'm only going to do shooter born in heaven once, I couldn't stand doing it over and over. And all the effort to upgrade your stash, kinda pointless its all going to get reset. And then the thought just extends from there for me. No point doing any of that tasks at all. The entire game just came down to murdering people for their kits, let them do all the pointless grinding for me. Without that permanent progression, its just a brutally hard shooter.
if you look at the achievements, almost 70% of the playerbase are not even playing any more. they get bored being reset to 0 with that stupid wipe mechanic. nobody wants to start the same over and over and over again. dont get me wrong, it is a great game but those wipes have to stop. or BSG can refund me.
