- Lochranza, a village on the Isle of Arran, boasts a dramatic castle, a distillery and plenty of wildlife in the surrounding area. The ruined castle which occupies the mud flats of the bay, and the brooding north-facing slopes of the mountains which frame it, make for one of the most spectacular settings on the island. Join us this week as we explore the village and then sail back up the Kyles of Bute.
Who are we?
We are a family of three with three dogs, sailing the coasts of Scotland, exploring one island at a time - for now! There is no set route or plan. We will go where the wind and life take us. We have two golden retrievers and a bernese mountain dog - Hachi, Luna and Meems who sail with us. We sail on a 1995 Gib’Sea 472 who we are in the process of refitting, making our own and preparing for a big adventure.

It's a cursed destination for us - we are certain! Each time we've been there this year, we've had issues either with finding a space, swell or our friends dragging anchor at 4am! It's been an interesting one! Thanks for watching! :) See you around!
That toilet!!!! I’m with Chris. A tiny (out house) tour would have been the clincher for this video. …. Well maybe it would have been on par with that tumble on the road side….. 😅😂🤣 Thank you for, yet another bit of joy.

.... season drawing to a close you say .... hope all is good after the tumble from tripping on the leash .. who got the chocolate, who was last ..... there is really no reason that toilets need to be grungy and have got to say that am glad am not a female needing to use public facilities judging by some of the male facilities offered .... I know in Germany in the cities, at least it was so in the sixties that there was an attendant that you tipped to use the public toilets and they were spotless and they had cloth hand towels ..... thx for sharing your walk .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
It sadly did… but we had a good one 👍 after I got knocked over by Mimsy, the competition came to an end 😂
