    In a 1986 or '87 game, Dave Righetti did the same as Bauer, tossed the ball over the fence. I wish I could remember the exact date, but he had just given up a game-tying homer. Piniella took him out, and the Yanks wound up winning.
    EDITTED because I can never spell "Piniella" right.

    unfortunately, as a coach you have to put up with it when they are damn good and a good background is missing. Otherwise they would get stuck on the bank. Some are certainly hoping for the trade season. Stupid if the other coaches don't feel like doing that either. Best example coach vs Mbappe from PSG in football. Nightmare. Everyone has to earn respect, sometimes it takes years. But minutes until it's gone

      @@gali2256 This player is great. So he should definitely stay with PSG. Since the club is very rich, they offered a lot of money. As if that weren't enough, he has the contractual guarantee that he can have a say in the lineup and transfers. A top team should be put together (it's already one, translated around Mbappe) So talk the coach into it. Now it bangs. Guaranteed a real 9er position player so that M. comes into its own even better. Didn't work. Especially since the preferred candidate from both sides didn't want to. Why probably :-) Now M. wants to leave (which he officially denies) The transfer chief calls it a failure on their part. And it's a top club that's portrayed as bad. From someone who is around 20 and after a big fuss deigned to stay. It's definitely going great with the team spirit

I really get tired of the constant pinch hitting even when a player is swinging a hot bat. I don't like it plus he has made himself so predictable. Not just to us fans but to opposing managers.

      @@ryandonovan5895 Bauer is a fool. An immature child. Likely cost his team the world series in 2016- a series that saw Game 7 tied through regulation. Bauer pitched 8 innings that series and gave up 5 runs. Kluber was forced to go out on 3 days' rest, pitched 16 innings and gave up 4 in the process. A healthier Bauer could have been the difference in the series, likely would have broken Cleveland's way.
